The small footprint and tall structure of lithophane are just a little too tipsy for the default settings of this printer, which causes the print to tip over on the build plate and fail. This honestly does every bit as good a print as the Bambu's do I have both a 5M and a Bambu P1S and to be honest unless you are REALLY dead set on wanting the AMS with the bambu then there is NO reason to buy the Bambu over the 5M
That's what I saw when I was looking at other people reviewing this printer as well. The AMS would be cool, but it definitely causes a lot of wasted material which I don't care too much for and also I don't really print anything that could really take advantage of have multiple materials/colors at the moment. Almost everything I print is all black so it blends in.
I got one and it was delivered yesterday. I followed all the directions in the manual to the letter. and it refuses to level. It sounds like a belt is skipping or something. And the print bed stops about a half inch from the nozzle. Not sure if things like this are normal. Anyone knows how to fix it let me know please.
I am sorry to hear that. That does not sound like typical/expected behavior nor has it been my experience. I would recommend contacting FlashForge to see if they can help you.
Legend
that aint no benchy
You are very right, I think I will print an ACTUAL benchy soon with it and time it.
i have one amazing printer for the price
It’s kinda cringy that they went as far as to design and upload a modified benchy just to make the printer appear more capable than it actually is. Defeats the entire purpose of why a BENCHy exists…
But on a positive note, great overview!
Once it was highlighted to me after I posted the video, I agree that it’s weird that it’s a modified benchy. I haven’t printed many so it never occurred to me.
Thank you for the compliment!
Yeahhhhh Noah
could you say that its loud one more time
I have it & hate it. There was no manual for anything. No help from the company. I finally got it working after paying someone to help me. Now after just using it, it’s saying printer isn’t connected. It’s always something. Maybe it’s just me but it’s driving me crazy 😂
Looks like a cheap copy of bambulab😂
Sure does! haha
Bambu Labs sucks bro 🤣 They look like toaster ovens and meat weigh machines 🤣 PETG always gets stuck in AMS and you can’t print different filaments at the same time.. You’ve been Bambu-Zooled 🤣 I hope you didn’t buy the A1
@Thadopeera what can I say, you dont know what you taking about
I have the x1c with ams no problem with ams and petg or even abs
It has never failed me în the few months I had it
Dont need multicolor printing but it is Nice to have the option in a pinch I use it mainli to continue with another spool when the first one is empty or doing interfacing layer for supports
The one and only printer i trust to start a print correctly and keep going without any supervision
@@jeysonbastin6320 From PERSONAL experience I’m speaking for myself here.. And I sent my Bambu P1S back the third day 💯 PETG got stuck in AMS every 5th or 6th print 💯 And customer service is the same you would expect from a Chinese restaurant.. Don’t tell me bro.. This is not an opinion this is my truth!
@@jeysonbastin6320 And The Prusa XL 5 head that I went with after returning the Bambu has been the greatest move since beginning my 3d printing journey 💯 It’s a monster
