I don't know if any hikes were bad, necessarily, but doing Timber Mountain 3.5 months after my injury was tough, physically and emotionally. I think your list seems more appropriate. One of the reasons I primarily got into peakbagging was just that I got tired of driving somewhere to do a hike and being sort of underwhelmed. I find that hitting a high point makes hikes with even so-so scenery pretty rewarding.

Yeah, that sounds excruciating. Glad you're still out there despite your injury; some would just give up. So true about making up to peaks and being rewarded by them. It's probably why I continue to climb cerros and mountain tops, haha

Well...there are some not so fun hikes !
You should take a week and do some hikes in Las Cruces.
1. Organ Needles (3560 elev gain)
2. Organ Peak (3589 elev gain)
3. Baylor Peak (2870 gain)
4. Rabbit Ears (2893 gain)
5. Indian Hollow (2000 gain)
