My theory is that the second episode will start with the last minute of King's Tide like it did in Thanks to Them. It will go over what King and the Collector have been doing in those months like Thanks to Them did with Luz and the gang, and then in the third episode we'll finally see everyone meet up.

I think the art piece is possibly a hint of the special being in January(which I guess is confirm with the release date leak so YIPPEE!). Though I do like your theory that perhaps the isles will be freezing and snowy(which is nice since it’s like a fun nod of the special airing during the winter season). As for other thoughts:
▪️I think maybe that person we see on the side could be Lilith; at first I thought it might just be a original character Dana was sketching for fun and art practice next to the K&C doodle, but I think it’s Lilith now that you point out what seems to be a spell circle.
▪️I’m unsure if King grew big or not in the picture….drawings can change perspective of a character’s size sometimes. Also I think the crack is just the same one he got in King’s Tide; just now it’s treated with a boo boo buddies bandage 🩹 (perhaps King or even the collector put it on him).
EDIT: I CAN’T BELIEVE I FORGOT LILITH CAN’T DO MAGIC ANYMORE! Sorry for sounding dramatic, but I was just upset I forgot about something I knew easily when making this comment. So that’s probably not Lilith then unless Lilith can make small temporary spell circles(as Eda was able to do at the beginning of S2 before it broke). Perhaps it’s just an OC or a new character that will appear?
Maybe Dana Terence is going to do the time skip again in the beginning of the next episode
True. Although, then again, the knee is usually the coldest part of the Isles, so it is most likely that King and the Collector are there.
@@Starwarsfanboy0928 Ah good point. I could see perhaps a scene where they go to the knee for the collector to easily cope out everyone in the isles and the perfect place to host the owl house game.
I thought it was Lilith at first as well, but we are overlooking one major detail. Lilith and Eda can't do magic anymore since they are both cursed with the owl beast, so why bother trying to cast a spell circle when you know it will fail. No way that character is Lilith.

I’m guessing episode 2 is going to be more of a resistance episode where everyone reunites, catch up on what happened after the Hexside Squad left at the end of King’s Tide, learn more about Caleb, Evelyn, and the Collector, and of course find out what Belos’ Plan B will be, and maybe the Collector will start having feelings he never felt before King came into his life.
yeah but i'm going to get a feeling that when the gang tried to find the collector in his lair that the collector is good at hiding by playing hide and seek but they couldn't and they didn't know that the collector had gone into Luz's body and soon going to be possessed soon because of the shadow

This!! I think he'll start off as a villain but slowly realize he wants the same think as the owl house group. There's no way they would have him be with belos for all those years wanting to get out and then when he does he's still on belos's side. I think it'll be a "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" type of thing, and the series will end with the collector just being another kid in the group that needs a family, like Hunter
Yes I don’t think he’s inherently evil he just comes across as extremely powerful because he is a child from the stars so his power is unmatched and he has a BIG thing for games so when he can’t play them he gets very upset and seems evil because of the havoc he causes

2:50. I think the person casting the spell is a titan trapper because Lilith can’t cast spells anymore, unless the Collector removed the curse in her and Eda for the OWL house game.
doubt he would remove the curse, its clearly a metaphor for a disability, so that would ruin eda's and lilith's character

Think about this. Eda survived the day of unity even with the curse because of Raine breaking her arm of. Lilith had the curse but no one broke HER arm of. Intern meaning Lilith is . . . dead.

Yeah.... this episode will probably take place parallel to "Thanks to Them" where we see not only King and the Collector, but also the aftermath of the Isles and Day of Unity and there is much ground to cover.
Like with Luz, Eda will probably undergo a state of depression over losing both her kids. We see one leaked screen image of the Owl House attic with multiple light spells, which could be Eda just absentmindedly drawing light glyphs because of how much she misses Luz.
There's also the fact that Belos is currently not on the Isles (yet) and everyone's going to be wondering what happened as they all almost died during the Day of Unity. We may be getting riots and even mobs as everyone will probably blame all this on the Emperor's Coven, even though they were victims themselves. So Raine and their group will try and maintain order as best as they can while also trying to stop the Collector.
That said, we probably won't see a reunion between Luz and Eda till either the very end of this episode, or the start of the finale.
That's at least my guess.
It may not mean anything, but I think because king is standing up In the image, it could mean that king has grown
About it being Lilith, she doesn’t have access to that kind of magic after the curse. Unless the Collector reversed the curses, it can’t be her.
Honestly. This a super plausible theory, given the randomness of Dana’s post. As far as the hiatus goes, I’ve started watching Hilda and that’s been pretty good to fill the void so far, tbh

I'm not surprised if the crack on King's skull is Collector related, the chaotic starchild hasn't exactly been soft on Titans, as for the episode while future is in the name I'm hoping we get some past stories about how the Collector wound up in the demon realm, the fall of the Titans, and what happened to King's dad, also I'm kinda curious if Bill and the titan hunters will show up as I doubt the Collector warping the isles would go unnoticed by them.
My thoughts are that the episode will start off after the events of kings tide but from the perspective of the "boiling ials" and how it has came to be and the episode ended right after the kids and Camila get to the boiling ials through the portal but at this point anything can happen

It's worth noting that there is a place in the boiling Isles that we know is just naturally snowy but that would be the knee because it's like a Mountaintop basically. Not to say that this isn't a good theory it does make a bit of sense that something about the boiling Isles could have changed that drastically but like them being in winter clothes is not a strange thing for this show to do even if that drastic change hasn't happened because we know there is at least one place on the boiling Isles that is essentially shown to be constantly snowing
I think this confirms some leaks. There was a leaked shot of episode 2 where king had the bandage on his head.

I have a feeling that The Collector will go all out and stop anyone who try to hurt king.
There are a lot of stars on the person holding Kings hand, and since the Collector has a star themed outfit and is ‘a child of the stars’ my guess is that it is the Collector. And not only that, the. Collector has short hair and wanted to play with King, so I doubt the Collector, who flicked Belos like he was a nothing, would just let King get taken by him leaving him alone again.
I also think it’s the collector because I notice (just a thought and no one has talked about it yet in the comments) that in the picture you can see the shape of his eyebrows & they look like the shape of the collectors eyebrows also like you said the stars also could mean it was the collector. :)

seeing this theory reminds me that there are still some people that think that the draining spell worked and everyone but eda and people without coven sidgels died. there is no way that dana would kill off all of the characters though; believe it or not, they are a key piece to the plot. now, we know that dana is okay with killing off characters that we love (ex. flapjack), but killing off all of the boiling isles residents besides eda would simply make the show unwatchable. there would be nothing to make the show about.

The Boiling Isles turning into the Chilling Isles actually makes a lot of sense. The Collector moving the entire Sun had to mess up weather patterns which could easily make the isles freeze over.

Something I still don't understand about this show... The town where Luz lives and Philip lived was sometimes visited by witches from the boiling islands or all that about witches was "superstition and legends" that the inhabitants believed were true but in reality they were not existed and but one day by chance beings from another world with appearance and abilities similar to witches arrived one day?

in a city stories about vampires are told and there are even people who train to "hunt vampires" but in reality vampires do not exist but just one day aliens with appearance and even some abilities similar to vampires appear in a portal and by mistake people for trying to follow them end up on their planet...
