LeBron is a great player. But Jordan set the bar. You can beat his records and show out all day but until you move that bar you will be beneath it. Jordan was called the greatest before he EVER put on a NBA jersey. & was called the greatest by numerous of people. LeBron was just known as a much more skillful player than his class. He can score and dunk and he is strong but he can't win. He can't take his skills and electrify everybody else around him. What he did with the Heat was all because the whole Heat team was a team of greatest in the league at the time players. Micheal went to a team with average team mates. And because of his presence on the floor Pippen was able to capitalize on his skills. Rodman. And the rest. Its like finding the right chemical balance. The Heat was synthetic...

Mmmmmm, no! LOL! At the time, Jordan was doing things physically that not many others could do. However, just watching guys like Spud Webb in the dunk contest back in the day at his size, watching guys today perform crazier dunks than Jordan’s best at the dunk contest IN GAME. Then watching guys like Jordan Kilgannon performing better and more insane dunks than Jordan ever thought about doing. Shows he was great at the time. But has been surpassed in many areas. Including dunking, clutch shots, 3 pointers and driving to the basket. Again, Jordan deserves a ton of love and respect for what he did. BUT he was a loser and major choke artist until Scotty showed up to save the day. Not to mention, look at the bulls win/ loss records the years he was “ retired “ aka being suspended for gambling and other things. Obviously he was the grain of rice that tipped the scale and helped them win those titles. Since they couldn’t win without him. But Jordan also couldn’t win anything until Phill surrounded him with the guys he needed to tip the scale!

I remember going to the basketball courts and doing whatever we could imagine trying to look like him. Even a little. Your soul was full when you managed to do even a little bit of something of his moves. Like many others of my generation, I feel super lucky to have seen him at his best. That is, from 1984 to 1998. We watched NBA games like maniacs. Until he stopped in 1998 ... Then the main interest for the NBA disappeared without any disrespect for the other guys back then... Michael from Athens,Greece. I can honestly say growing up and living here in the UK that Michael really is the 🐐. Basketball isn’t even big here in the UK, only a handful of people will have heard of Kobe, LeBron and Curry. But MJ? 9/10 you can ask a random person on the street in England and they’ll know/heard of him. That’s greatness, the impact he had on so many people’s lives

This is February 21, 2020 and am yet here, almost late for work. Have been watching MJ for about 6hrs, woke up way too early. I never get tired or bored of watching the by far greatest and most iconic to ever handle basketball. MJ blessed basketball lovers with something so rare. Im scared he will die someday. Am always worried about him. Im 34yrs btw, never really watched a live game of the bulls but i was hearing Jordan back in Nigeria then. Air Jordan, Nike, 23 and so on. I developed love for the NBA and Basketball in 2000 cos of Air Jordan and to this day i doubt there will eve be anything like MJ. Everyone wants to be like Mike. It speaks volume. I respect Kobe for coming close to MJ in ways no other has done. Sometimes I wonder hw MJ feels abt his impact or influence. Does he know what he did to the world?

He didnt have talent but skill and will on max level, from 84 to 90 Bulls didnt win anything with him and yet he is the greatest bbl player ever and one of best defender in bbl. Talent is Ronaldinho gaucho, his talent sharp his skills as a boy, that kid has win all games when play alone with mediocre team on his side, but lack of will on max level he fall... Its hard to compare but Ronaldo and Messi are way back from Ronaldinho in talent but will and discipline made them 2 best in football no doubt, Ronaldinho could be best for yrs, even in old age he dribbled a lot, other 2 do it when they need, that is no talent. Ronaldinho is that kid even now in his 40s. That is talent and belive he is better from other 2 even today... I love MJ, grow up in 90 and saw him play, Iverson in his prime reminds me a little on MJ. There was talented ballers but i cant think of any now, didn watch 15yrs. Only my opinion friend, sorry.

I had the opportunity to witness him playing during the 90s (when he was less impressive offensively than he was back in the 80's) , every week the top 10 plays in the NBA had like 3 or 4 involving MJ.

No sport movie is better than Jordan's career. Everything is so symbolic. Rookie all-star by leading votes, banned shoes and reviving Nike and turning it to the best brand, broken leg and straight after best scorer of the league like noone. Jordan rules and sweeping Pistons when Phil Jackson came along, winning championship by giving assist, something he didn't do until then, he won when he started trusting his teammates. Father dies, returns at his late thirties and again first scorer and champion. Dominated in the era of the best centers! Never went to a game with no interest, every day was a show. The flu game, double nickle, 63 against Celtics in the Playoffs, 6 threes in the Finals. Even his last shot! He had to retire like that...

KostasSiderisBarista I agree ... people dont understand how dominant Jordan was in the finals.. like George Karl said if your gonna beat Jordan in the finals your gonna have to cut his hesrt out

If you were a kid of the 1990´s you probably let a tear while watching this. Even if you do not know a man personally we all feel like we know him. That Bulls team was something special too me, that iconic bull logo at the center of the court. So when i watch this now i get goosebumps, remembering my youth days and admiration i had to this man, or better said this icon. LEbron is great, Kobe was great, but if you lived in Michael˙s time you know that he was something special, a true legend, just the charisma he had was untouchable.

In fact he was a loser and a bit of a choke artist in the playoffs until Scotty and the other guys showed up. Taking on the best in the game, which allowed him to score at will. He gets All the praise for those rings. But he wouldn’t have ANYTHING without the help of a phenomenal coach and phenomenal teammates!!
