    The first nine minutes are the most clear and concise explanation of colour I've seen, heard, or read anywhere. I hope people share this with their artist friends who use other mediums! Another great video, Kit.

    A really helpful video for me, thank you so much! A very clear explanation of the difference between opacity and translucency, hues and values, the clearest I have ever heard any way! Can you please confirm what proportion of Golden Open Gel you use with other brands of acrylic paint? Golden paints are quite pricey here in the UK, so using the gel as an additive to prolong the drying time of other brands is a great idea and one which I would like to try myself.

    • @KitBellArtist
      @KitBellArtist  21 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      I did a video a couple of months ago comparing paint. The ratio I used with my regular heavy bodied paint and the Golden Open Gel was about 50/50.

    Can you please tell me where the botanical masks came from? Many thanks. Such great instruction.

    • @KitBellArtist
      @KitBellArtist  7 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I make my own botanical masks. I start with a dark negative print of weeds or other botanicals. I use that to cut a mask out of Dura-lar (kind of like Mylar - available from art stores). I have a video on my channel about that - Transform Your Botanical Gel Prints into Stunning Stencils.

    Loved your video 🎉 what is the name of the material the stencil is made From?

    • @KitBellArtist
      @KitBellArtist  21 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I use Dura-lar for my stencils. It is very tough but also quite thin. It is available from art supply stores in a pad.
