I had the extreme pleasure of interviewing Dr Ruth in the mid-80s she was such a wonderful human being and I truly enjoyed our time together. My editor accused me of patronizing her because the article pulled no punches and many times quoted her directly discussing intimate parts and such...lol. This peice doesn't pay tribute to her enough in the sense that she was an instructor at the Bonne in Paris and was more than just a sniper. She was a member of the Haganah, which is the underground Israel army. She was a spy. And her work was instrumental in helping Israel gain independence in 1948
