I don't know much about ec1s, but BabyJ is kinda cracked, definitely the best FaZe had. I wanna see how he performs in a (on paper) better team.
Ec1s has never been that good, and babyJ is good in NA but can't see him doing great internationally, same with hiko really. Ethan and asuna are great but I don't see this team doing anything for a while :(

@@ryz3nx456 The org isn't as transparent with their teams even in their early league days. CodySun was regarded as a top adc and they basically hid the reason why they benched him on 100T's run that yr on worlds. We basically got zero intel on why 100T Val isn't performing well last yr just the PR BS we always get from them and the players. If it weren't for nitr0 sharing some exp he had with the team we wouldn't even know that steel and frost had been bashing heads

@@stevedadshumptomp7845 Sure but what about how nitr0 said that they don't have a good relationship with steel in the server? obviously steel caused a lot of friction when he was on the team but did it have to come down to practically months of bad performances and PR bs before we got significant changes in actually improving the team. They were late with the Astra/Viper meta during Stage 2 Challengers 1 or something where they were still running Omen and even neglecting Jett on maps like Ascent just for them to play Phx while playing Omen on Icebox. They could've made moves then why do it before LCQ. If they're just letting go of both frost and steel they should've restructured the team months before Stage 3 and LCQ.

I hope ec1s can igl better than steel. Reading what your opponent can and will do is what wins rounds. If babyj can also play chamber as well as his killjoy then 100 thieves will have dangerous agent compositions

@@Tekologic Captains basically just are the face of the team, sometimes giving rosters suggestions and trying to recruit other players.
IGL call plays and strategies in-game and also makes sure everyone's mental is good.

@@goldenferrari7785 I mean clearly but what can you do. ec1s is one of the best smokes who was a free agent going into this vct season. BabyJ is insanely good and will probably work better than steel with his teammates.

100T valorant following the footsteps of 100T LoL by getting an EU import
It’s because of buyouts. Here’s a little story. Ec1s just came from a team in EU that disbanded so he’s a free agent and his salary was poor in NIP. 100t tried contacting top tier NA teams to buy their IGLs and were rejected so they decided to go the free route and import ec1s.
I am not sure about ec1s tbh. I mean he‘s a good IGL, not sure if he will fill that role at 100T. But he hasn‘t competed at the top for a while and I am not sure how he had no “real“ team since Liquid. Hope he will crush my doubts tho.
Don't really know much about the new recruits but read some good things about BabyJ. Hopefully ec1s perform well too. Tho the question in my mind is: who's gonna play Jett?

@@celynnXD dont believe this man, ec1s is an IGL who preformed pretty well with NIP and ok with TL, just because he does bad in a ranked game doesnt mean he's bad. I think there's gonna be better synergy and the roles are gonna be better defined with this iteration. The firepower will be worse than the last one, but I think the team syngergy will make up for that

Can’t say much for NIP as he didn’t have enough time before they moved their roster to Brazil but he didn’t show them anything to want to keep it EU. It’s not really got anything to do with ranked but He’s shown nothing with any roster he’s been with
