    When you put the footwell ceiling panel back on, make sure you line up the back part onto the metal stud before you click the tabs into place or it will rattle. You can see how it's supposed to be at 0:32

    I haven't changed those filters in 12 years.

      Oh man! It is time for a change. I would suggest getting a shop vac to vacuum out any extra debris in the housing.

      Lmao, same here. And it looks like it will probably be a while before I change it. I'd probably break a few of those tabs on the process.

      Just did mine, no air con. Original owner and there were no filters at all in there, lmao.

    Thank you so much, this video was really helpful. Dunno how the top one sits for you, I had to do some freakin houdini with my hands and hold the top filter while sliding the bottom one in.

      A flash light and needle nose pliers to pull out the filter will make the job even easier.

    Trying this however one of the 2 screws seems to be worn and won’t catch with any screwdriver to take the panel off. Any suggestions?

    • @filterheads
      @filterheads  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If the screw heads are stripped, try placing a rubber band or small piece of duct tape over the top of the screw head. This should help your screwdriver get a better grip on the screw heads. If the screw head is raised, you can also attempt to use a pair of needle nose pliers to loosen it. If none of these tricks work, you can always buy a screw extractor from your local hardware store.
