    Great video, replacing it actually is much harder than it looks on the video but it is still a good video,

    The arrow faces towards the seats?? My mechanic said we face it away from the condenser fins which was away from the seats! Are you sure it faces towards the seats??

    • @xjssts7127
      @xjssts7127 ปีที่แล้ว

      Observe how you remove the old one lay it on the floor and don't mix their position, put back the new one the same way. I have been a mechanic for 30+ years.

      @@xjssts7127 yeah ok and what if I mixed that up right away 🤣🤣 so another person said "observe where the leaves and dirt are. That's the intake side. Air flows from this direction towards the motor blower" and I watched videos to find leaves on the outside meaning engine side and so air flow indeed does go towards seats

      When i removed mine the old filters arrow was having towards the engine bay. I have 2012 mazda 3 (basic 2.0)

    Good video, recommend taking an extra few seconds to remove the horizontal plastic trim tray under the glove compartment (release 2 clips at front) to make access to the filter compartment a bit easier.

      I just got this car and this piece was laying in the back floor board. I had no idea what it was until I saw this video lol. I got bits of plastic/foam flying out of the AC vents, I hope its from the cabin filters otherwise I gotta live with broken pieces of plastic flying out everywhere after I turn the AC on.

    Why was the old upper filter bent at the bottom? Seems like it wasn't a very efficient system if it was allowing air to bypass the filter pleats. Old one weren't very dirty.
