I’m 60, and have recently done a test similar to this, and was referred to the hospital for tests, as I didn’t do great. I have a friend, who I have known for 40yrs, and his Alzheimer’s has escalated quite quickly, in the past year. He’s forgotten so much, and it’s heartbreaking. He was a 🇬🇧 politician for 40yrs, and hardly remembers any of it! And before that, he worked down the mine, as an electrician. When I spoke to him, on the phone last night, about 9.30pm, he told me he had just gotten up, and had breakfast. When I told him it was night time, he was quite confused. An hour and half later, he said, “ right, I’m going to nip out and get some batteries”. I told him it was nighttime, and again, he was confused. As I realise that my memory is slowly going, and am not sure what I’m doing, when it comes to simple tasks, it scares me. I used to be a uni lecturer, ( can’t remember the words to put here) teaching I.T. Now, I don’t know how to use my laptop. 😢 But one thing about it all, is that we both laugh, especially when we both forget the same thing. My fella says we are both nuts, and we agree!😂 60 is young to have the beginning of dementia. So, if you know someone with memory issues, encourage them to see their GP.

Similarly, the last time he rode a bicycle was when his dad paid the kid down the block to ride it for him.

But one thing about it all, is that we both laugh, especially when we both forget the same thing. My fella says we are both nuts, and we agree!😂

@marcraygun6290, Biden is a stutterer, so tripping over words isn't that big a deal.
Thank you for expanding the information about this cognitive assessment
The drs said. "This is amazing. We've never seen this before." Hmm, that's how I speak when I don't want to tell the truth to someone. "Wow, honey, your bacon pineapple enchiladas are incredible. I've never had anything like it." same effect as cheeto - I run to the bathroom to vomit
He claims twice: "if you get it in order you get extra points..." AND THAT'S JUST NOT TRUE. I believe the test taker is given less then the full score if s/he has to be reminded.
I can’t believe Trump is actually bragging about passing this test.
Trump brags about every damn thing. He knows the best words, went to the best schools, has the biggest brain, he's got the best hotels, golf courses, molested the most women, and still became president. Go figure....
If he did pass it, it's the only test he's ever passed. He's certainly not going to say he didn't do well on it.
I can!

I like how “tripping over his words and rambling” is a negative for a presidential candidate and yet we have Trump.
. . . Yes
He spent an enormous amount of time
The other day staring at his speech and trying to pronounce "detriment." They
should be more careful and try to only use words he knows.
And Biden has dealt with a stuttering problem his whole life.
I wouldn't say Trump "trips over his words," its more "he butchers the english dictionary with a dull knife"
I will take tripping over his words and rambling ANY DAY over lying.
It’s probably the only test he passed where he didn’t have to pay someone to take it... WoW! That’s amazing! 😯
@Paul Van Heuklom Sweden here. If he took the test we cannot know if he passed it. Donald is world famous for lying about exactly everything. Maybe he did not even take the test. Very doubt full!
Excellent!
@Paul Van Heuklom Brilliant lol
One gentleman, one criminal
bragging about passing a cognitive test is in itself a failure to pass a cognitive test, or it should be.
First: the test is not difficult because every must be able to do it. As you stated it’s not to measure intelligence but cognitive decline.
Second: Trump did the test some years ago. In the beginning I thought he took it recently, but that’s not the case
Third: that trump thought it was difficult is, in my eyes, a sign that at the time he was tested he could be in an early stage of Alzheimer.
Fourth: why did he take the test. Who thought it would be a good idea.
And final, rambling and falling over ones words can be a sign. Unless that person did that his whole life.
And when you are doing the test, you can find it everywhere, and you fail on some parts, that doesn’t mean you have dementia.
For example I have visual-spatial problems and dyscalculia. I can do the first question, but it take me longer than other parts. I also can’t remember numbers or counting back with 7. But when this was discovered I just got my propedeuse econometrics, cum laude. So not dement.
I’m 67.
This is literally what they said in the video
@@NateNate60 Yeah, but this is for the Trumpists who swear this has to do with some kind of bias when it's just science. Nice to hear from someone who can confirm the symptoms first hand.
Jannet Berends, you are right, the test is not difficult but the test Trump took was a loaded test, loaded in Trump's favour that is. The five words that he continuously brags about being able to remember are related in that person, man, woman means that you only have to remember the word person and the other two will be easy to recall and TV and camera are obviously related especially to a TV host as Trump once was. The test taken by the two employees shown in this video used a proper sequence of unrelated words, and no I can't remember them. Trump cheating on his test again?
John LaFever I removed my answer to you. I thought you were serious. But you didn’t react. You attacked.
And Trump is not a president. You only think he is.
@John LaFever wow, hurt are we? The insults are superfluous you could have made your point without them. What if Ms Berends is not an American like me, is he still President?

That test is given to all elderly patients. It is a cognitive test which tests memory and recall, it is not an IQ test. It also tests the ability to follow instructions. This is a governmental standardized test that a ten year old can pass. I doubt if he actually passed all parameters.
The fact that he's proud of passing this test says something of Trump's cognitive ability...

Person, woman, man, camera, Epstein didn't kill himself.
Question: why did he take the test?
Answer: because someone thought he is demented! ( Ok, every thinking citizen knew that already!)
I work with slightly metally disabled teens and we do a memorietest with them when they come to us. Many of them manage to remember around 5 to 8 out of 10 words and a lot of them can tell them in order. So hearing him talking about thinks like "noone gets it in order but for me it was no problem" and bragging about remembering 5 words in order makes me laugh.
I took a similar test recently and had no problem with any of the questions. One thing: you guys did it a whole lot faster than it is normally administered. Like on the "clap on the a's" test - MUCH faster than it was given to me. And I STRONGLY doubt that Trump even took the test, much less did well on it.
Basically, he matriculated for kindergarten.
👍😂
I hear he also did very well at colouring-in, where he got extra points for staying inside the lines.

If the Democrats hadn't spent the last 4 years trying to impeach Trump he too would have been allowed to do great things. Hell the Democrats can't even pass a stimulus bill to benefit the citizens without including huge sums of money to bail out the poorly run Democrat cities or funds funneled into groups that turn around and donate it back to party. The Democrat party is in it for themselves and have no desire to help the citizens, unless they are illegals and that is only becasue they will add to their base.
