    Most of the "jews" who have settled in Israel aren't even Semites and don't have ties to the Abrahamic tribes. They're ashkenazi's from eastern Europe who highjacked a religion. They're god has always been Zeus and just inserted they're old pantheon into a newer religion.

    I'm not hating you just don't have a clue what you're talking about. By the time of ww2 most Jews were of Ashkenazi decent. Those people's lineage are from the old Khazarian empire which converted around 500 to 800 ad. They were NOT Semites. Semites are a race not a religion. They are Arabs from northern africa and Arabia. When Jews cry anti semite they look like idiots because most semites in the world today are Islamic. Take it a step further and the chosen tribe idea is laughable.

    Just one other remark about this talk: This rant about half the Bedouins being "concentrated into barb wire reservations" is quite annoying: They were nomads. They lived in tents, now in tin huts, on land which they do not own. The whole idea is to give each Bedouin family half an acre and money so they will be able to have proper houses in a town built for them, by them, complete with running water and infrastructure donated by the state. The prawer plan isn't against them, its for them.

    I noticed that too. But near the end when he talks about the fact that publications like the New York Times don't inform the American public about what is actually happening in Israel I sense a level of frustration and disbelief on his part. It may be he wants to sell his book but I think he honestly wants to get the truth out as well. Now to see how "available" it is at my local bookstores. Sometimes books such as his don't come up on the catalog, are seldom in stock and can take awhile.

    Forget religion and look at facts. How much people does that land would hold. I mean without causing destruction to nature. That should be the criteria. Once that is known the solution would be more simple.

  • @TheChinaWatcher
    @TheChinaWatcher 11 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Agreed. What makes this more astounding is that though they are Arab Bedouins fulfilling their responsibilities as Israeli citizens with military service they are still treated like that. There are religious groups within the society who won't even do that but they aren't ethnically Arab. I don't know what their greatest export is but hypocrisy certainly must be at the top of that list. Best tag of the piece "Bibi sitting", how appropriate.

    you don't know anything about the ethiopian issue except the distorted propaganda working backwards from the conclusion that doctors decisions were based on race and not living standards amongst people with on average 4 - 6 children already. that story is a shining example of the distorted coverage ont eh media, being bilingual i could see how all context was stripped fromt he story when it was translated to english and people who know nothing about the etheopians just keep repeating israel

    Iraq isn't part of Palestine, also Iraq at that time was a colonial entity of England, as was Palestine.
    Which means neither incident was on behalf of any state. Both incidents you bring up are nothing more than local and isolated spats..
    Also, almost every North African Arab country still has Jewish communities, especially in places like Morocco and Tunisia which house some of the oldest Jewish communities on earth.
    Nearly all migration of the Mizrahim (Arab Jews) was voluntary after 1967

  • @xrty777
    @xrty777 11 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    the pogroms in iraq were drummed up by the same palestinian guy who drummed up hebron, haj amin al husseini. also, like i said every jewish community in arab legion held territory was destroyed, and as far as it being voluntary there was lots of that low level local harrassment, which you seem to think counts for nothing. point is arabs think they had a right to destroy our communities and we couldnt destroy theres

  • @TheEEStudent
    @TheEEStudent 11 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    However, to be fair, there is a live debate between the Bedouin representatives and the state - not about the prawer plan itself, but about how much money and how much land will they get. Israel offers to register them about 100,000 dunams while they want more. So eventually the sides will come to a compromise, somewhere in between. But in any case, nobody is going to "concentrate the Bedouins into barb wire reservations". This is utter baloney.

    That should be the criterion, not the criteria.
    Criterion
    A basis for comparison; a reference point against which other things can be evaluated (singular of criteria)

    Just the complete the picture, the other half of the Negev Bedouins already live in the 7 Bedouin cities the state of Israel, formed since its establishment, in the Negev. These cities are: Rahat, Tel Sheva, Segev Shalom, Ar'ara, Kuseife, Lakiya and Hura. I'm yet to hear any one of the inhabitants complaining. After all, they all basically got their land and money to build their house, from the state. Which is one reason why a large part of them serve in the IDF.

    Listen the fact that it was targeting these specific Ethiopian women and no other Jewish ethnic group is evident enough to the motives.
    No other Jewish migrants were targeted for this program.
    It also would still b continuing now, if the Ethiopian women themselves didn't seek help from Israeli human rights groups. I've followed this story for 2 years, there's no excuse for it.
    When one specific group is targeted for a eugenics program its wrong (which even by your narrative that's what it was)

    Goliath has weaknesses but overall it is excellent reporting. Get a load of some
    of the expertly contrived comments below for and against. Is there a Turing test
    to determine if they are done by ppl or by algorithm? A machine has no concept

    Syria is ran by a secular dictator, The ARAB (not Muslim) Republic of Egypt is also currently ran by a secular military junta... Jordan is ran by an Islamic monarchy, however it happens to be the most friendly country listed to Israel...
    2/3 of Palestine is governed by a pro-Israeli SECULAR puppet regime. Another 1/3 of Palestine is governed by Islamic militants, who was the only other choice on the ballet with the Pro-Israeli secular puppet regime.
    We can see how all roads lead to Tel Aviv;)

    Syria - Article 3 [Islam]
    (1) The religion of the President of the Republic has to be Islam.
    (2) Islamic jurisprudence is a main source of legislation.
    "secular" my ass
    Article 2, makes “the principles of Islamic law the main source of legislation,[12]” a statement defining the relationship between Islam and Egyptian law, essentially unchanged from Egypt's old constitution.[13]

      The President is from the Alawi sect which is not Islamic they just pose themselves as Muslims.
      The Syrian army also used to not allow its soldiers to pray during their shift, which goes against Islamic rules, and highly likely that hasn't changed.
