You are better off using a core bit to drill out 2-inch holes to hold the balls in place so there is no need for glue which cracks off eventually. However, that will mean you asking your Dad to do it for you! Great music. Shame that you did not think to put a t-shirt on ;)
I agree with you and was thinking the same thing. Maybe the reason might be the center row (containing the 8 tennis balls) may become weak once 8 holes are drilled. I am going to build one of these to see how it works.
wonder if one just buys flat balance pillows..... two behind on sides for trainer, with some plywood board on top of and one under the front wheel with similar height or little thicker ....
Andrés Martín when you too lazy to change over to a dedicated Indoor Trainer tyre, the electrical tape protects it. It has to be good quality electrical tape though.
Great video mang! Your mad skillz and fearless approach to the glue gun puts any duct-taper to shame! RIDE ON !!!
Hows this thing holding up? Thanks

I'm not saying it will or won't work :-) as I have got some stick for this design. But mine works, it's cheap and DIY. So I ignore the haters.
Very clever
Nice idea! Why the electrical tape on the tire?

Andrés Martín Update: It works even better if put it on the trainer wheel itself. Its thin enough to put two or three layers.
@@FiguringItOut Damn man nice tip! Will the rear wheel slip under load compare to the normal setup?
@@FiguringItOut Absolutely love the electrical tape on the tyre idea! Subscribed and thanks for the vid.
