I love this video. I wish they teach this in high school.
When I was working 911 Dispatch, I had a lady call because she said this guy looked suspicious because it was night time and the person was wearing all black. Really.

free field training Hope it’ll get much more than that but you know it could make all the difference to a fair few guys and girls out there. Then the courts can just throw away all their hard work later... but it’s still worth it!

I can't recall ever having a description that had an accurate height, weight, age, and race at the same time. At most its 2 accurate and the rest completely off the mark.
I once worked at a big outdoor country music festival, and I swear to god nearly all the descriptions we got from dispatch were "caucasian male with a cowboy hat"

I think on one hand criminals pay way too much attention to cops rather than trying to act naturally and it definitely makes your job easier. On the other hand a lot of people will act scared around cops who've done nothing wrong because they've been conditioned to fear them. If I see a cop in uniform in public I always pay attention to where they are and what they're doing but more to see if they're actually doing something in line with their job or just eating/getting gas. One thing if a cop is parked at a convenience store to get some gas and donuts, a completely different scenario if they are responding to a robbery or drunk homeless person with a knife. Definitely don't want to get into crossfire or walk up behind a cop who's doing his job. I saw cops dealing with someone at the store down the road the other week and several people just stepped up behind them to get in line.

This would have been useful yesterday. I was a witness to an accident where the driver and passenger of the rear car (rear-ender) abandoned their car and left the scene. As a civilian, I did my best. Hopefully the police will be able to find them. It was a work truck. They left behind a cellphone and open beer bottles in the truck.

Goofy videos?? As a security guard, im finding your videos complimenting my theory training and to a certain point covering topics in that they either skim over or don't even discuss.
I actually got a rap over the knuckles by my boss when I described an offender by race and gender to the point he wanted me to change my report to remove the description of race and gender changing it to a broader non invasive report "dark skin person"
