As someone with diagnosed Anxiety myself i can say that it has nothing to do with worrying about success or anything like that. It ofcourse CAN be a part of it, but thats not the underlying issue. More often than not it was caused by something that happened in your childhood. Thats not easy to just "fix". Ive had my anxiety for as long as i can remember, im 31 now and i can remember back before when i was like 8 or so. Its hard wired into my brain to act and think in certain ways. Its not something that just goes away with training. Some things can def help, but it will not magically disappear. With anxiety comes things like depression and you can even develop personality disorders. If you have GAD for example, it will stay with you for your life. Medicine and active mental help can help you relax, but its not something that goes away.
Anxiety and depression can also have a genetic/chromosonal component to it as well. I've been an anxious overthinker my entire life (literally I have memories as young as 3-5 where I was overthinking about dying/death and freaking myself out to the point of panic attacks). Poor mental health runs in my family, almost every single person in my family that is related to me has some sort of anxiety disorder (undiagnosed and diagnosed). So in this case my brain is literally wired to be anxious and that's not something that can be "fixed", it can be managed and I do my best to manage it but I will never be able to fix it with current technology.
@@iambored5585 : I know exactly what both of you are talking about. This dude really should really dive into how unreachable mental help is, globally. We are not pushed to have diagnosis, we are essentially kept from getting one and that is what is keeping many people down.
bro asks george to 'do his research', while hes making factually incorrect statements that can be easily checked with one search haha. its always the people that think they know a lot, that know the least, and this guy is a prime example
I think one thing that unit doesn’t understand is the difference between Anxiety (a genuine mental condition) and feeling anxious. That’s like when your mate would call something cancerous and then telling someone with cancer that their mind is lazy and their condition is not that bad. I do agree with the lad that loads of people blow things out the water and exaggerate themselves in this generation and I’ve personally known people who have exaggerated these things for attention and to get out of social occasions but people who have anxiety are more sane than those that don’t. The world is huge and the pressure on people to succeed traditionally is mental. This unit goes gym 5 times a week and sees people who don’t as beneath him and people that he can scam with his mini hustlers academy online preschool.
Agree with absolutely everything. World is so diverse, hell, UK is very diverse, I mean socio-economically. I used to live in London for 9 years and been all over Britain. My home country is economically harsher, and I have seen people in Britain simply born into rough reality, where nothing is handed to them and where you gotta go work at the age of 14 on Saturdays or even skip school sometimes to go work illegaly somewhere to afford 1 pair of trainers for a whole year. And outside of Europe and North America (roughly around 5 out of 7 billion people on Earth) live in such conditions where affording food is an issue, and it is not because people are pazy there, in fact they actually do sleep for few hours and work in insane consitions so that they children don't go hungry. It was the same here in our European societies in those "good ol' days" these types of guys tend to LARP on - without having any understanding how insanely rough and short life was for those generations, WWII and before that. Here in my country we almost all know our family history often couple of hundred years back and sometimes more, and it always is some surreal, horrifying stuff. My grandfather blew a part of his leg off in his teen years when he was a part of armed anti Communist resistance movement and by miracle they didn't send him to Siberia. And this is the most vanilla story from all my family members from those years. There is very often simply not even spare time to consider self improvement, not to mention partake in it. People must consider themselves extremely lucky if they have time to go to the gym, record videos for TH-cam and come up with some courses. I am not jealous, I just wish people would never ever take shit for granted. Prison taught me to value everything, literally everything I have, and I have very little, even more than I ever did. Best people in all societies were always those that sacrificed their health, wealth, life for others and had no time for themselves. Sadly they are rarely remembered but it is they that carried out entire future bloodline on their backs so that they could have a better life while they themselves died at 40, of some bullet wounds, injuries at work or from pure exhaustion. Our entire European/White civilisation is built on Christian biliefs, and core of it is selflessness and sacrifice for others or good deeds. Funny how these Alpha Males talk about highly things like religion and culture but have no grasp of these things whatsoever.
I absolutely hate the way people say we shouldn't label certain things an illness because it means that people can be lazy about that condition. That is not how chronic (i.e. lifelong/ongoing) conditions work. You have to manage that illness everyday, no one else. I was born with Kidneys that don't work, I had a transplant at 5 and I was constantly reminded by my doctor that looking after my transplant and managing my health was down to me.

I love how these Alpha Males get so offended at the slightest bit of criticism or pushback, but the average man who they refer to as betas wouldn’t care.
I just want to point out that having an anxiety attack doesn’t mean you’re sat there and you’re nervous about something. It’s having a mental break down and thinking you’re about to have a heart attack because you have no idea why your body is reacting the way it is.
I honestly really missed this type of content, I know we still get it every now and then, but it's just so funny. Finding random accounts/channels that hundreds of other youtubers haven't already talked about, and just having a laugh.
its actually insane to me that some people don't recognise that the general feeling of anxiety and an anxiety DISORDER are two completely different things. Like, a person can feel really bad anxiety before an exam or a job interview. that doesn't mean they HAVE anxiety. people who HAVE anxiety don't just 'get a little bit scared'. they don't avoid situations that stress them out because 'its just scary :///' and they wont just 'get over it' if they force themselves into that situation. It's like, if I go into a large noisy croud of people, i will completely break down and shake and not be able to hear anything because im insanely overwhelmed and stressed. That's something I've had my whole life, and it has not gone away by forcing myself into those situations. Literally for my prom night i almost fainted because i was so overwhelmed and spent the rest of the night crying in the bathroom. Do you think I WANTED that to happen???? It's not just something you can 'get over'. It's not healthy for me to force myself into those situations, it's healthy for me to do my best to avoid them so I can work on my mental health and happiness rather than completely breaking down.

Poor guy. He's scared shitless, and must convince himself that he's on top, He must convince himself that with effort and dedication, one can overcome whatever is scaring him. I think he's the prime example of anxiety at work. Chill, dude. When you get old, you'll realise that all those dreams of being important in some way have come to naught, and that it's ok that way. And you'll be sorry for all the years you wasted kicking against the pricks. Fuck toiling and striving for meaningless achievements, and enjoy life. Time will come when you lose the ability to enjoy. Anything.
I work in mental health and one thing that I've learnt along the way is alot, not saying all, mental health responses or troubles can be linked to trauma again I'm not saying everyone has experienced trauma, but to just disregard anxiety, depression and just naively think "self help" miraculously cures everything just disregards and invalidates peoples trauma, feelings and other difficulties.

I think it's borderline illegal in the UK as well

I have depression as well as a personality disorder and it's difficult to explain to people that medication only mildly helps with the depression and the personality disorder is hard wired. It's literally part of my personality. Part of who I am. There are no medications for treating that, I just have to live with it.
Thank you both for sharing your thoughts. :)
As someone with debilitating ocd, this is so true.
Exactly! It’s actually disgraceful how people are still so ignorant about these issues when so much has been put to awareness now and well, google is a thing.

This dude really should really dive into how unreachable mental help is, globally. We are not pushed to have diagnosis, we are essentially kept from getting one and that is what is keeping many people down.

Exactly!!

I just want to point out that having an anxiety attack doesn’t mean you’re sat there and you’re nervous about something. It’s having a mental break down and thinking you’re about to have a heart attack because you have no idea why your body is reacting the way it is.

its actually insane to me that some people don't recognise that the general feeling of anxiety and an anxiety DISORDER are two completely different things.
Exactly!!

Just got home from first day of school! Watching this to relax
