Being Humble despite a great personality and so much knowledge is perhaps your key to being so effective

The most things sabotaging your success is :
1- Distraction, you have to stop the habit of opening email first in the morning and you have to manage your time ,so you can use panadora technique .
2- Emotions, stop react by effect of your emotion , try hard to control rather than it will control you .
3- Arrogance, stop your ego of reserves and shift your attention for another needs .
4- Fixed mindset, you should be a growth mindset ,try to give focusing on your work and improving it quality .

    1- Distraction
Measure your Important Tasks eg How many pages you wrote if u want to be a writer then you will understand how much time you are distracted
    Pomodoro technique
    2- Emotions
stop to react by your emotions
    3- Arrogance
stop your ego of reserves and shift your attention for another needs and wants
    4- Fixed mindset
you should have a growth mindset, try to give attention on your work rather than the reward

    • @johnhinckley7615
      @johnhinckley7615 4 ปีที่แล้ว

Hi Refat Have you never heard the saying that knowledge is power? The "funny" thing about that saying is that (all else being equal) it's true. True understanding brings ability with it. So if you keep your mind open and attentive you give yourself the opportunity to learn and to do things you previously thought impossible.
Otoh, mental negativity will cripple your mind. It's your choice as it always is. Belief opens doors for you that you didn't know were there. I'm not talking about hoo hooie fraudulent do dooie kind of wishful thinking. I'm saying that your mind takes your suggestions and acts on them regardless of what you think reality is or should be. I'm saying "don't cheat yourself" because you don't believe in any particular religion or aren't religious at all. What your subconscious sees in your imagination often enough it will act on to the best of its ability. Fill your imagination with what you want to do, focus on that, seeing in your mind what is needed to be done to achieve what you want--and keep at it. Whenever the opportunity arises do everything in your power to do what you're thinking about. Just do it. Actual ability will follow your attempt to do what you aggressively and intentionally imagine yourself doing. This is the only way that new things and new intentions ever come to pass. You want something new and different in your life you can have it... ...but only if you choose to accept your thinking and believe that acting on your thoughts and imagination will work to make your goals real. Don't believe and you won't achieve until you choose to believe and act on what you believe. Until then you'll never have what you really want.
My suggestion is to take what I've written and meditate on/about/through it. Think truly deep thoughts not thoughts that can bring your whole mental house of cards down in the course of a few bad actions brought on by irresponsible, common, easy thinking and choices.
Control your thinking and you control your life and your world. Ignore your thoughts and your mind will ruin you and every life you come into contact with as fast as you ignore the "immature" thoughts that I've presented to you in this comment. Your life and how you live it will absolutely without fail become what you truly believe and what you persist in thinking about.
In truth... willpower is weak and will always lose to imagination no matter how strong your willpower/willingness/and uncontemplated desires are or become.
Pay attention to your thinking and your words. Words will guide your thoughts if you allow them to through _any_ degree of inattention. So choose your words wisely and use them to think those things that you want in order for your mind to do what's necessary to obtain your desires.

University professor as well and I love this list....I especially like that he doesn't use 'Fear' for 'F'....'Emotions' is so much stronger than just fear....It really stuck with me when he said that we shouldn't react to the world from emotions. I checked out Kilian Jornet and his outlook....cool stuff.

Interesting the point of arrogance/entitlement equating to feeling worthy of having, better or more-- so many times I see clients experiencing worthiness issues and not feeling or believing they are good enough to have, better, none the less, worthy of more. I find this flip side you discuss an interesting contrast. I get the arrogance/entitlement aspect. The worthy portion has a bit of fine line... in other words to me it depends. Thanks for the video.

And I agree with your opinion that point 4 is really an amalgamation of the first 3. And in that light, F could be changed to another saboteur worthy of mention . That being FEAR.
Fear of failure, fear of the unknown, fear of financial loss, fear of criticism and fear of humiliation to name but a few of its manifestations.

It has strongly reached and resonated with me so I want to thank you warmly for having the generousity of sharing with us all sorts of great contents, so well explained and defined. I'm convinced it's how you communicated those informations also that really makes a difference. The message becomes clear, powerful and very effective probably because we can feel the pure intentions behind it. I have spent a very long time reflecting and researching on that subject and tonight, I feel I got it and more importatly that it will stay with me! Earlier I was going trough some TEDx presentations when I came accross yours, very proud for having the curoisity to have watched it and then checked out for more of your work... Conor Neill actually, I like your choice of words. Not everyone is an entrepreneur who watches your video. I am watching your videos to better myself as a person, not because I am in the business industry.
So please keep up with what you are doing and be who you are for that is what makes you unique.
We have the duty to apply ourselves to the full potential, but we as individuals can’t take the credit of our success was due to our own power. The One who is The Creator of the Heavens and the Earth has the power to do all things, and only through His will are we able accomplish our successes. Thus what ever you have and/or given are gifts from your Creator.

As someone who works and lives in the disabled community, I'd hate for a deaf person to have to see this. Yeesh. Seriously, redo this. Ugh.

@@devorahacts You know as crazy as it may sound, it never dawned on me the word "DEAF" until you have just pointed out.
Sometimes in life we get upset and/or angry towards another individual without realizing they may have not had a bad intention in the first place and thus pointing out as you have done is excellent, but at the same time we should not make that person feel like an idiot.
I hope that I didn't say anything wrong, if you feel that I am out of line, then please forgive me. Thank you.
Oh my goodness, I can't speak for the presenter, but I do wonder if he too realized.
However, I can understand where you are coming from and your feelings towards it.
Anytime any of us are affected by a situation in life, we as individuals are more sensitive towards it. For I am very sensitive towards anyone making fun of someone who is mentally ill because depression runs in my family.
