They certainly do. March-April is our windy period out here, nothing like the occasional mouthful of sand heh-heh. I hope to put some more videos soon. I have 3 more that are 90% done, and a couple of others planned.
Thank you 🙏🙏. It’s good knowing when a video is well received 🙂. I wasn’t sure on this one, and I have some future ones that are a little different for my channel. But it’s all part of the fun :)
Thank you! I’m glad I was able to get this footage at least. It salvaged the trip somewhat, I was originally hoping for some exciting ridgeline shots. Oh well, another day.
No snow, just bitter cold heh-heh. I’ve been planning that ridgeline hike for a while too, we were going to scout out a route to a new summit for me. Alas, the winds had different ideas.
This was a short jaunt in Tom Mays on a bit of trail that connects Schaeffer Shuffle to Lower Sunset at the northern end of the park. If you remember the layout of Tom Mays, this one starts near the group site restrooms.
West Texas and Wind just go together. Glad to see a new ChucoHiker video.

@@ChucoHiker it's good to keep us on our toes. Looking forward to seeing what these future videos will bring.
Awesome!
You like doing those when it’s cold outside.😉
Lol! I suppose that has been a trend lately hahahaha!
Very nice.
Thank you :)
I still needed to make it to the state park. Thank you for sharing
You’re welcome! It’s definitely worth visiting, although it’s quite a drive for you. You have access to some pretty cool parks where you’re at.
@@ChucoHiker yes I do but it would be so cool to see the Franklin's

Thanks for sharing, where does the trail start? EP is my home town. Living in Florida now.
