Another boss weapon to look at. This one is from Midra, Lord of Frenzied Flame. Pretty good weapon. The ash of war takes a bit to start. Has a huge animation. But when it lands it does good damage and stuns enemies. But you have to time it. Quick enemies will punish you for using it.
This weapon of all weapons not having a unique moveset feels so cheap and disappointing ngl

Imagine it had a stance aow instead where light attack throws frenzy flame slices and heavy is a frenzy flame beam like sword of night and flame
Hey man. The Skill description says,"if successful, the barbs UNFOLD to excruciate from within..", can you try it on an enemy to test this out? Other videos don't really showcase this property, and I just wanna know how this works.

Looks like it's bugged, or only work on pvp/humans npc.
@@renhardhalimnot a bug, FROMSOFT has this kind of thing working only on humanoid enemies.

If not because of this i will not say about the possibility of bug knowing that when elden ring first launch some weapons also facing a bug. If it's work like how it's now then better to wait for mod to revamp it then
You can test it at nights sacred grounds on the silver tears and i can assure you it look so cool
This sword for pvp is insanely fun, the weapon art is mainly for tarnished npcs and players when you land it you stab the blade through their head and and the blade expands its nutty
Been using and kicking ass with it. Such a satisfying Ash to pull of, and i keep getting gankers who try to swarm me and keep attacking during the s after getting the grab... best part i can do it instantly 3 times in a row and keep grabbing people because they just keep spamming
@@TheAverageNerd I’m glad I got a fellow user I’m a madness build and it pairs well bc when I proc madness it guarantees the hit, I usually follow up with messmers orb on the gankers do to fast cast time

@solairethesunlightwarrior8813 huh, didn't think if doing it with madness. I'm a str/faith build, currently main getup is it, the new lightning twin aces, and the throwing shield. Mighy try out what you got though
@@AnomalocarisWizard and it laughs at iFrames. It's a work of art(though to be fair, it's easy to avoid unless you're in the middle of an ash of war or spamming attacks).
The only thing I hope they rework is this weapon, in the fight it’s so gracefully swung and the moveset for him is so cool but his weapon is just a normal weapon that you could find in Limgrave
Just make it enhance with Frenzy flame in the weapon by using weapon art, and throw some unique movesets in some attacks and it could be easily a 10/10 weapon, idfk why they didn't give it more love.
I can’t give a good reason from what FromSoftware was thinking, but most of these boss dlc weapons are just mediocre, and not much different from the base game. Apparently, people have said that Miyazaki doesn’t want people to have OP dlc weapons because of balance issues in pvp. Further added, he also didn’t want people to feel left out

I love this weapon viable for pvp and invasions, hit em with ash then switch to other weapon n clap cheeks, the animation of the other person getting skewered mouth first is awesome

@@Rubhen925 I guess there's also a new torch. But still, I was hoping for more Frenzied weapons. I dont even do PvP, I have a challenge Build lmao. I just wish I had more weapon choices than Vyke's spear.

sadly i didn't get a drop from the enemy for the weapon... I can try farming but you know how it is.
