When rock projects into the ocean is that like plate tectonics and shouldn't that be landmark and not private property? On PCH in Malibu the highway cuts through rock to proceed north. Isn't 'that' rock a sort of frontal boundary for the Santa Monica Mountains and remains "landmark" ? Seems as though some voting body overlooked an important something.
