Arcane was written as a complete story made for 2 seasons of TV. They are making more shows in the world with the same team, but the setting won't be in Zaun/Piltover. It'll be other regions and telling stories of vital characters that make up the world.
I'm sad we don't get more Zaun stuff. So integral to the lore.

@@phuckilljoy7191 I have a feeling season 2 is Viktor/Jayce (or at least I hope it is). I think the Vi/Jinx storyline was finished in season 1. Season 2 is just the outcome (where they are now) part of that story while Jayce and Viktor take center stage.
Trailers can often be misleading and they wanted to leave out Mel, Viktor and Jayce since they didn't want to spoil who survives that last rocket to the council chambers.
I am sure they can come back to regions for stories later since a lot of chars travel all over the world and some stuff ties directly into the stories of other places. Like jumping to noxus after this and then back to zaun with urgot or the like. We havent seen nearly everything piltover and zhaun have to offer.

Twitch, Blitzcrank, Viktors evolution, the dam breaking and janna saving zhaun, singed fleeing to noxus, orianna, camilles plots, renata glasc taking over, Caits vendetta with "C", Zeri, Seraphine, Ziggs, etc.
If by team you mean the team at riot then sure. But this will also be the last animated show they worked with Fortiche. For now anyway
Riot games did confirm they will be doing more LoL stories. If they keep doing it like Arcane Im all in. 2 seasons of amazing quality for each story

I wasn't surprised. If you followed along with news and stuff, you'd have known that this is the final story for Piltover vs Zaun, but they'll be continuing Arcane in other stories. I prefer it this way cause it keeps the writing tight.

In my opinion the story of these characters won't end in November. Their oringin story will end. They can show up later.
@@LS-tk7hp Right. Better to have this as an anthology series imo. We've seen what happens when they drag the story on for longer than it should've gone (Supernatural, GOT etc).

@@burnt-croissants If I had a nickel every time Hailee Steinfeld played a badass, yet complex character with an interesting haircut in 2 award-winning animation projects, I'd have 2 nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.
My greatest hope is that with Ella Purnell’s greater visibility and popularity more people will finally watch Yellowjackets lol, especially with the new season coming out next year
Genuinely so excited for this season, I love the lore. I really hope Riot does some more shows surrounding different parts of their world.
There's a state of the game esk update they did for leauge when this came out confirming plans to do shows/maybe movies in different parts of the world.

Remember: Final chapter doesn't mean the entire series. only the story of the characters involved. even the dev says "this is only the beginning of the many stories in the future"

No need to worry It's the final chapter for the Jinx/Vi arc, but the overall story will continue in other places and with other characters. LoL has 160+ characters and continuously increasing, and every single one of them are interesting on their own right and worth making a story about, so I have no doubt in my mind that the next project will be as high quality as the first 2 seasons.

I think the final chapter is just the final storyline for that area of the world since there are so many areas in League and so many characters with stories to be told :)

THE images of Jinx AND the chanting gives me giga chills (Lisan Al Gaib feel, but I doubt they'll take that path)
Also, it being the final chapter of the story, is only for THIS specific story. They have many other regions they plan on developing AND you never know, they may even find another angle to explore in the future
Arcane is only a small piece of stories for the whole Runeterra verse, its the end chapter for Jinx and Vi's story. There are 167 champions with their own lore and 11 regions in Runeterra and we barely touched Zaun and Piltover.

If it helps. The second season will wrap up this story line. But Riot is working with fortiche (the studio behind the animation) to bring other story line as series.
So we'll basically get different shows in the same universe featuring different characters.

This is the last season of the Piltover story - there will be more shows set in other parts in the world.
I want Vi to talk with ghost Vander some more. If Silco could have such an emotional impact on Jinx in season one, then Vi must conserve with Vander again. I think it’ll be very painful but cathartic for her.
There is so many characters in the game from Piltover and Zaun we havent see (yet). All of their stories are AWESOME

Aunque campamento cretácico terminó ahora está caos teory que continúa la historia anterior y con Arcane pasa lo mismo, quizás si hacen otra serie o una película, abre la puerta a nuevas historias de Arcane.

By *Final Chapter.* I am 100% convinced they mean that this season will wrap up the Vi/Jinx and Piltover/Zhaun storylines. They are using the death of Mel to bring Noxus into conflict with Zhaun.. And this will be used as the jumping point to open up storylines throughout the rest of the world of Runeterra. However... We may still see more of Zhaun, and Piltover in the future as they dive into the storylines of Viktor becoming the Machine Herald and his Glorious Evolution. Fear not Friends. Arcane is far from over.
So sad this is gonna be the final chapter for these characters. I wonder if they’re gonna continue this show with other characters or is this just the complete end of the series 🤔

Rick and Maggie React to Arcane - When???
I'm so sad about the final season thing. When the series was initially announced to be in the works, long long ago, I was interested but I heard someone say the story was about two siblings who WEREN'T champions, so I was kind of just like, "Oh, okay, that's neat but I probably won't watch." Then I avoided ALL information on it from that point forward (not intentionally, just kind of happened) until the first act dropped. Then I was art of Jinx, I flipped out and was completely locked in immediately because Jinx has always been one of my favorite champions and I always enjoyed the Piltover/Zaun lore/aesthetic.
The show is great, everything went beyond any expectations I could have had in Season 1 which bodes well for any other stories they do, but I just don't care about the backstories of any of the other champs or areas of the game like I do for the Piltover & Zaun champions and lore. I'm always an advocate for ending stories on a high note and not dragging them out until they lose all of their charm, but man I'm gonna be so bummed when this ends.
Although this will be the last season for the Piltover and Zaun lore, I'm super excited to see which region we move onto for the next show. Due to the heavy Noxus presence hinted at in the trailer, I wonder if the show is going to segue into Noxus. I'd LOVE to see some Darius action

Honestly I'm so glad it's the last season. Too many shows give in to their success and keep prolonging the story, until they eventually just spoil it. I'd rather have two amazing seasons, than have more good seasons before it inevitably gets terrible because the story goes on too long. (I.E. Game of Thrones, Walking Dead, so many examples)
Come on guys, I’m glad to see y’all excited for it but this really deserved more than 2 minutes of discussion. You didn’t talk about a single thing that actually had to do with what was in the trailer you just watched. You’ve been reacting to so many things lately it seems like this channel is really prioritizing quantity over quality. While im sure it might be more efficient on the value side of things, I’d hate to see this channel turn into a content machine.
Eric once said that he’s seen people do reactions to music and songs on TH-cam and that he doesn’t believe that it’s “real content.” If that’s the case, I feel like trailer reactions are even less so especially if it’s done like this, where there’s virtually no discussion about the actual reacted-to content. Rick hasn’t even seen the first season so there were potential spoilers there as well.
These ppl are taking anime and story telling to an untouched level of quality. This show is pure genius is every single way.
You need to review more stuff like this and less of that SW garbage.

I still don't care about the game, but I do love the lore. I got the realms of runeterra book and it's a really interesting world. Also started reading the novels.
I could already hear in Eric's voice that he'd delved maybe a little too deep into the lore and got a bit spoiled. Also, I wouldn't mind to hear Rick's solo reaction of the show. Maybe just in time for the 2nd season?

this is the final chapter of jinx and vi...but we will get more stories ..i just hope they are set in the Arcane ip...i dont want them to branch out.
I feel like announcing this as the final chapter while knowing that they want to do new shows in this universe is such a huge mistake because this show managed to capture mainstream success, doing spin off after spinoff could lose people between in the cracks, and because it's on netflix, to a bunch of casual watchers the show might end up in their eyes just being "another show i liked that got cancelled."
