@beatrizpr8076 yes but for a "natural" look I would do 2 to 3 days in a row if u want darker 4 and then just do it when it's needed it usually lasts 5 days
Everything irritates my face, but these do NOT irritate me at all. I have 2 autoimmune skin diseases and will get hives from a lot of products. These drops work great for me. I love the medium. On my face I add 1-2 little drops about 3 times a week.

100% agree. I love my natural skin tone (except how easily it burns) but I do like to tan in the summer because it makes me feel more confident due to its slimming effect.
Been using best bronze mouse for years because I feel it’s the best product for those more pale than you. Pigmentless folks like myself. It’s a modest color but enough to take the edge off and not feel self conscious about blinding white legs and farmer tan. I’ve tried a lot of brands over the past 15 years or so. They’ve gotten much better. I’ll check this out since the color seems right and cheaper . I could hear the brand you said lasts longer than 7 days
I have really sensitive skin, and I always used these on my face. They surprisingly do NOT give me any allergies, I would totally recommend . My skin is so sensitive. I can’t even use any skin care products, but I can use this..
Fully on board with the Isle of Paradise drops for easy peasy colour that's not too dark. I love mixing them into the Neutrogena hydroboost body lotion in the summer because it's such a nice, light consistency. I do not use the green drops on my face though because it makes me look sickly, so my one tip is to be cognizant of your undertones, peeps.
Careful mixing products. Biochemistry wise these two formulas were not designed in a collection. So it’s best to do one, let it soak in fully. Then do the second. ( lotions + drops I mean)
What timing, we just got in our Isle of Paradise Tanning Drops and you put up this video! Thank you for following through from February's video, I really appreciate it! Great video and so helpful. Happy Weekend!

I recently purchased the medium and love it! I only use it on my legs and find the application so easy, the color result adequate and the smell not as intense as most other self tanners. I use it as a gradual (daily) self tanner and as such, it's great. I can see using this forever...it's that easy!

Also can you use a body lotion that has scent to it possibly ?

@Madison Monis you gotta understand, me saying, "I wish you'd have shown them in the same lighting across the board," is not the same as saying, "you should have shown them in the same lighting." Two very different statements. And I stand by the statement that I did make at the time... that I wish she'd have shown them each under the same lighting because it was hard to tell the differences....
I brought these in Medium and Dark after the last time you mentioned them and so far I am a fan! I find it way more convenient because I already try my best to lotion up every night anyway. So this doesn't feel like an "extra" step in the same way that the mitt ones do. As someone who has only used self tanner maybe 4-5 times in the past I was a little nervous about no color guard but it developed just as evenly as always! And I definitely love not worrying about color rubbing off and staining everything. Edited to add: My only "con" would be I'm not sure these drops will provide as many "uses"/number of applications as a standard mousse kind, but that is yet to be confirmed!

Hi I have a question about self tanners in general, I was reading online that the main ingredient, DHA, is bad for the skin. Is this true? An article I read says, “The free radicals released by DHA cause oxidative stress that can speed along skin aging. Think: fine lines and wrinkles, hyperpigmentation and sagging. DHA has also been linked to DNA damage, leading some researchers to question its long-term safety.” I love isle of paradise and would love to continue using it (I use it on my face too because it doesn’t irritate my skin- and only 1 drop). I’m not sure if this article is referring to using it without wearing sunscreen? Because I wear sunscreen with it! But, if it causes wrinkles I’ll probably stop.
It’s true that it causes twice the free radical production. A dermatologist recommended using an antioxidant serum first. Then Also keep that in mind when you make your choice on how often to use the product. Every now and then for vacation is fine.
I really like it. I'm super pale so it gives a nice glow to my skin. Downside is that my legs did get some streaks but that could be because I didn't put enough moisturizer with the product 😅
Have you reviewed the Luxe Tan drops? Very similar to Isle of Paradise. I’ve used both and liked both but wondering which has better ingredients and color in your opinion. Thx!!
Thank you! I'm forever on the quest for new and better tanning products and I hadn't heard of these until my city just got it's first sephora. I had been so curious about these. So happy I came across you channel 😚
Does the darkness depend on the shade you get or the amount of drops you use? I’m more on the pale side and love a natural looking tan but I’m wondering if I should get the darkest colour and just use a very small amount to save money and stretch the product?
It depends on both. With the lightest you need more drops to achieve a darker colour but I guess there is a point were it won´t go darker. There is so much product in one of these that you don´t need to stretch the product :) If the medium is to light for you, you can just use more drops but if you would pick the darkest one and it´s to dark, you can´t lighten it. So I think medium would be the safest and best option. :)
do you shave before self-tanning? the skin on your legs looks so smooth and soft! i think your skin tone looks nice both before and after the self-tanner; I like your natural color and the dark option the best. also, i'd never guess that you are almost 5'11''!
Application question! In your video you mention drops which I assume to mean rain drops, but when you demonstrate it seems like you’re putting in the whole dropper for each “drop”. Can you help clarify ? Thank youuu
What about the spray? Were you able try out the tanning water? I just bought the whole kit and was looking for application videos when I ran across yours.
I love your videos even though we have different tastes. I actually think your natural skin tone is my ideal for perfection and that I do may reflect on growing up jealous; Florida had a lot of fake people that prioritized looking very orange and yet I would still be jealous, and then I move someplace where no one really cared about going gray or changing colors, and then learning about sun damage, it’s weird to think of just how much my idea of beautiful has changed based on who I was around. Watching these ones because I’m curious about how self tanner may even out my scars, but then again not sure if or why I’d think it’s better.
id like your thoughts on tan- luxe super glow hyaluronic drops and also the Amanda harrington's tan sets with face tanner that wayne goss raved about ..x

I purchased the medium drops after watching your video and I don't know how I could mess it up but it didn't work for me! 😂 You made it look so easy! I even felt as if I used too many drops.
Love the video! I just bought Isle of Paradise medium so hopefully works on my paper white skin... Please please please do the Bondi Sands pure range!!
I actually use Bondi sands whenever I don’t have any Isle of paradise and their ultra dark is my favorite, and I’m VERY pale lol. That shade is my favorite and has a darker shade for a great color guide (like an olive tone) and it’s super easy to see what your doing!
It would be helpful if you could put all the "afters" on the screen together when comparing tanners. Especially since this one is comparing the different colors/depths. I don't know how difficult that is, but hopefully you can do it in the future! Thanks for all the effort you put in doing these!

Super helpful! Overall this sounds like this would be better than a mousse because I’m just so tired of that whole process. Loved that you broke down drops per body area, so helpful! About how many tans does it take for you to go through a bottle?
i bought my bottle (medium colour) like a year ago and I still have it, I tan every week during the summer and in the winter like once a month so I def reccomend
Do you know if these drops are meant to be used on the face as well and have you tried them on your face? I was just wondering if it was safe to put on the face. I am about as pale as you LOL I am white white! And if you put it on your face how many drops did you mix it in with your moisturizer?
Hi Abbey, I really like the colour that you first got from your tan 🥰. I have seen reviews of this but haven't quite got the courage to try them. Like your jumper that you are wearing 😘. Have a great weekend 💕.
Hi Abbey- Great job, and thank you for taking the time to do this. As we all know, with traditional self-tanning products elbows, knees, feet, and especially hands are an issue. In the video, it looks like you essentially applied this like you would lotion- as in no precautions for the tricky areas? Is that correct? Also, did you go over your armpits? Thx!!
You actually used 3 drops per section or did you empty the dropper 3 times? I used 3 drops and I’m way shorter than you but I didn’t see much of a difference
New Subbie…Beautiful Abbey, thank you so much for sharing your knowledge about the application of the drops. I have had 2 MAJOR surgeries within 2 years. A friend recommended that I try this to cover horrible surgery scars! What a lovely young lady you are! Thanks Again… Kimberly
I would love to be your version of "pale" naturally. Im olive complected but sooo pale. I used to be able to get so dark and I still can except for my legs. I don't know what it's about. Im also a fatty and tan fat is always better than pale fat. Makes me look smaller lol.
Do you think you could use these like a gradual tanning lotion? Like reapply midweek to amp your color back up or is it more just, let it last the week, remove remaining self tan and then redo?
I accidentally used green shade without mixing it with moisturizer and my skin becomes dark like from white to golden brown. And i don't like it, what should I do to get normal colour
Could you please try the new bondi sands pure range? Would love to know what you think, all I've seen of it is sponsored reviews so would like an honest opinion ha! Thanks x
4:48 YOU THINK YOU ARE PALE? Some of my friends call me Casper no joke. I call my sunscreen my Casper lotion. I have to use 110 spf or I will turn into a tomato in the sun even after 10-15 mins in the sun without it. I have to use the filters that make me look tanner on my phone because I reflect light and I will glow white on camera without the filter. I am comparable to a sheet of paper. I will definitely be getting the orange and green bottles of this product and trying them. I have always been too scared to try self tanner since I am so pale and if I mess up or don't blend it enough it would be a VERY bad situation for me but the drops seem much less scary for me
Hi Abby, can you please review MINETAN NANOMIST tan compact. Minetan states it’s small enough to carry with you and takes one to two hours to materialize (with no shower) . I think it might relatively new but I may be wrong. Thank you, Gjustlearning
Hey Abbey! I’m excited to try this out! After applying the initial coat, do you still exfoliate your body in the shower throughout the week? Was wondering if exfoliating gloves would end up making it splotchy. Love your videos :) Pasty queens unite! LOL
Thank you so much for making this video! Just a quick question which may be silly but, what if you don’t apply it the best and you have weird streaks and you want to remove it, any tips or tricks or secrets on how to remove it before the 6-7 days that it lasts. Thank you!!!
I bought these drops but I don’t know how to apply them. Any way you could do a demo? I’m thinking to mix them with lotion and apply. I hope this works!
That’s exactly how you should use them, mix the drops evenly with the lotion. You can find more instructions at the back of the bottle (I think 5-10 drops)

You’re amazing , putting so much work into your videos 🙌🏼🙏
What about the spray? Were you able try out the tanning water? I just bought the whole kit and was looking for application videos when I ran across yours.
Hi I love all your products but didn't you say one makes you look old? Face drops I'd only use for face. What do suggest for body? Ty so much
Hi. Any other better than Dove nowadays? Or you still use the same? Thank you 🙏
I love your videos even though we have different tastes.
Hi!!! Love this video so much, so helpful! Did you use a fragrance free lotion to mix the drops with?
You had me at "obsessed with all things beauty" ... subscribed! :D
id like your thoughts on tan- luxe super glow hyaluronic drops and also the Amanda harrington's tan sets with face tanner that wayne goss raved about ..x
Excellent review! I never thought to use the drips on my body. I find the spray so much easier! 😀
The only ones I found without perfume is Lowengrip tan drops!!very potent as a self tan but does the job♥️
Does it make dark spots darker? Or is there a way to prevent it from happening?
They are actually color corrects too so it will help with that
Great video Abbey. I am wondering if this stains your palms at all?
I was wondering the same
How long does it usually last after one application? You look really good with the tan✨
5 days
i just bought the dark drops.. hoping if i just use a small amount of drops and more moisturizer and dont leave it on for so long it wont be super dark.. im quite pale, very nervous
Welp, sitting here pasty in December and just ordered these! I’ve never used ST before because it seemed like such a process. You convinced me to try on ease!
I’d be curious to know what you think of ChocolateSun tanners 💕
I purchased the medium drops after watching your video and I don't know how I could mess it up but it didn't work for me! 😂 You made it look so easy! I even felt as if I used too many drops.
It looks like you just changed the lighting in the different tanners. The last tanner video was in a much darker room
How come it didn't work? Nothing showed up?
This may need to be a must try for myself. 😊..
Have you ever tried Minetan?
How do you do your back when using lotion to spread the tanner??
Would you consider comparing these to the tanologist drops? Seems like they are similar but half the cost
Yes would like this too
Yaaaay I just got the drops in dark I’m about to go do it 💕💕
I was wondering does the blue one have blue dye in it? Thanks so much !
Hey there! love your vids! can you please do a review on the tan luxe body drops and/or bondi sands pure foaming water?
Hi!
Can we use the drops that says “face” for the body as well?
Great video, very helpful but just a question.... is that a beige candle sitting behind you on the bookshelf 6:07 ? Asking for a friend ;) lol
There’s not a way for me to do that with video in my current editing application 😕
@@AbbeyYung oh okay! No big deal :) I know nothing about video editing haha. Could you do it as a picture collage just put on the screen instead of video? Thanks!
@@AbbeyYung do you use one full dropper or do you mean a single drop? Thanks for your videos!
The Isle of paradise mousse is my favourite tan at the moment ☺️
It works but has red 40 and other dyes. I’ve been on a mission to stop putting red 40 in or on my body
Hey can you plz do a review and try out the fox tan Dark Tropical Self-Tan Mousse and the Dark Tropical Self-Tan Crème and which one works best or how they work at all??????? Thank you love your self tan videos really helps me out so much
Super helpful!
@@wickieee did you buy the tiny bottle she shows or did you buy the bigger one?
Do you know if these drops are meant to be used on the face as well and have you tried them on your face?
I was just wondering if it was safe to put on the face. I am about as pale as you LOL I am white white! And if you put it on your face how many drops did you mix it in with your moisturizer?
@@justjulia8007 thx but I forget by now what I was even talking about….plus it’s now the end of summer lol
Hi Abbey, I really like the colour that you first got from your tan 🥰. I have seen reviews of this but haven't quite got the courage to try them. Like your jumper that you are wearing 😘. Have a great weekend 💕.
Thank you! You too 😊
Hi Abbey- Great job, and thank you for taking the time to do this. As we all know, with traditional self-tanning products elbows, knees, feet, and especially hands are an issue. In the video, it looks like you essentially applied this like you would lotion- as in no precautions for the tricky areas? Is that correct? Also, did you go over your armpits? Thx!!
Could you review the lux unfiltered face tanning drops?
Yeah I'm about a couple shades darker than my sister I get tan easier but I'm still like I wouldn't say pale but fair skinned
You actually used 3 drops per section or did you empty the dropper 3 times? I used 3 drops and I’m way shorter than you but I didn’t see much of a difference
How long does it takes to develop ? Do I have to sleep with them ?
New Subbie…Beautiful Abbey, thank you so much for sharing your knowledge about the application of the drops. I have had 2 MAJOR surgeries within 2 years. A friend recommended that I try this to cover horrible surgery scars!
What a lovely young lady you are!
Thanks Again… Kimberly
hi! How it went using these drops on scars? I had a surgery too. Thanks!
@@beatrizpr8076 -I thought I had them, but it was MyChelle facial spf--I love it xoxo 😘
Thanks Abbey. I bought the medium and dark per your recommendation. Going to try tonight. Great review.
Hope you love it!
how did it go?
I would love to be your version of "pale" naturally. Im olive complected but sooo pale. I used to be able to get so dark and I still can except for my legs. I don't know what it's about. Im also a fatty and tan fat is always better than pale fat. Makes me look smaller lol.
Do you think you could use these like a gradual tanning lotion? Like reapply midweek to amp your color back up or is it more just, let it last the week, remove remaining self tan and then redo?
In case she doesn’t reply. I do that with this. Apply it every 3-4 days and it intensifies a little bit each time. Then I just maintain!
@@eringray8026 awesome thank you! I’m gonna give it a try.
I do this too. I'm another pale MN gal. These have given me the best glow.
Do you wash it off ?
Can you use this on the face? Clearly I skipped ahead to application. 🥴
I accidentally used green shade without mixing it with moisturizer and my skin becomes dark like from white to golden brown. And i don't like it, what should I do to get normal colour
So the thing is do I get darker drops and mix less into lotion for the bottle to last longer or just use a lighter shade?!?
Bondi sands self tanning drops are fragrance free, would love to see you try them❤️
Could you please try the new bondi sands pure range? Would love to know what you think, all I've seen of it is sponsored reviews so would like an honest opinion ha! Thanks x
What if you get the medium one and want it darker can you apply more or do I need to buy the darker one?
4:48 YOU THINK YOU ARE PALE? Some of my friends call me Casper no joke. I call my sunscreen my Casper lotion. I have to use 110 spf or I will turn into a tomato in the sun even after 10-15 mins in the sun without it. I have to use the filters that make me look tanner on my phone because I reflect light and I will glow white on camera without the filter. I am comparable to a sheet of paper. I will definitely be getting the orange and green bottles of this product and trying them. I have always been too scared to try self tanner since I am so pale and if I mess up or don't blend it enough it would be a VERY bad situation for me but the drops seem much less scary for me
Can you do a comparison between gradual tanners? Like Jergens Natural glow and others like it?
Have you tried sally hansen tanning water? If not could u do a review?
I’ve tried it, and I REALLY like it! It’s darker than I thought it would be though
Hi Abby, can you please review MINETAN NANOMIST tan compact. Minetan states it’s small enough to carry with you and takes one to two hours to materialize (with no shower) . I think it might relatively new but I may be wrong.
Thank you,
Gjustlearning
How many applications does this bottle last you?
Hey Abbey! I’m excited to try this out! After applying the initial coat, do you still exfoliate your body in the shower throughout the week? Was wondering if exfoliating gloves would end up making it splotchy. Love your videos :) Pasty queens unite! LOL
Only if I need to get it fully off before the next application! So just once
What if there are tan lines. Will the already tan skin get darker than the skin that wasn’t tan yet?
Thank you so much for making this video! Just a quick question which may be silly but, what if you don’t apply it the best and you have weird streaks and you want to remove it, any tips or tricks or secrets on how to remove it before the 6-7 days that it lasts. Thank you!!!
There are tan “erasers” you can get! It’s lotion you apply, sit in for a few minutes, then scrub off. Hope this helps😅
@@gwengwen4535 thank you!
Does she mean like actually only this amount of drops or like droplets full?
I bought these drops but I don’t know how to apply them. Any way you could do a demo? I’m thinking to mix them with lotion and apply. I hope this works!
That’s exactly how you should use them, mix the drops evenly with the lotion. You can find more instructions at the back of the bottle (I think 5-10 drops)
