I just think it's corny that TH-cam makes money off of my channel but don't give anything. 😆 Either way thanks for checking out this channel especially if your reading the description.

    I believe nostril shed is ok to help with, if it's truly stuck? Otherwise if you bathe them in warm water with a mix of the vitamins you put in their drinking water/the water you spray on their veggies, dip a q-tip in the water, and very gently rub it on the shed it should help get it unstuck

    • @ChuckNorrizBeardedDragons
      @ChuckNorrizBeardedDragons  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You can help a bearded dragon shed in multiple ways besides pulling it off you could try brushing it away with a very soft toothbrush obviously you can't let his nose soak and even if it is blocked if it doesn't look like it's bothering Chuck then I don't do anything but if he's banging his head in the cage and rubbing it off for everything to try to get it off that's another thing sounds like you're in tune with your bearded dragon so just pay attention to him and see if he is bothered by the shed

  • @kandihinshaw1870
    @kandihinshaw1870 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Okay so first things first you can actually help your bearded dragon if it is stuck in shed. You can also help remove the skin out of the bearded dragons know so it can breathe. Do a reason you shouldn't help your bearded dragon remove the shed is if it's not coming off. If he's just starting to shed you don't want to go in there and start ripping the skin off. Because I could do damage you could actually enjoy your bearded dragon. But if the bearded dragon is having issues with the shed that's coming off and it's having problems removing it that is when you assist a bearded dragon. Sometimes when it comes to their noses shedding. It is hard for them to get that skin out. That is when humans are to intervene. Because if you do not it could block your bearded dragons bring it are way so it can't breathe through its nostrils. So basically you can assist them if they need help with shedding. If they're having difficulties soak them in water and then help them remove the shed that's already coming off. But if you're having issues getting that shut off and stop pulling cuz that's when you going to hurt the bearded dragon

    • @ChuckNorrizBeardedDragons
      @ChuckNorrizBeardedDragons  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That was a perfect answer... for real that was an apt description. Were or are you a reptile owner if so which it seems like you have helped with shed before lmk what type of reptile and name I love animals

    • @ChuckNorrizBeardedDragons
      @ChuckNorrizBeardedDragons  3 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      I thought the same thing but once people hear that it can be harmful if not done correctly so I know people troll for any reason to put someone down or say im hurting him so I believe you are both correct. And I deemed it needed because it was bothering him and he kept trying to get it with his feet and by rubbing so I helped. • @hiclite
      @hiclite 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      What you could try is using a Q-tip that is slightly damp. You don’t want it soaking wet because you don’t want to push water in the nostrils. Take the Q-tip and move it gently over the shed area to try and remove it. If it’s stuck it may take a few days of doing this gently so you don’t hurt the little guy.
