Looking at the stats from todays video I think Scyla will be fine: he has 550 WS with more base than AP, only 30 MD and 50 armour, so he will not really be able to grind things down despite being unbreakable and his mortis effect is among the weakest of those effects in game. But I am actually pretty thrilled for the 2 heroes and the Slaughterbrute for another reason: you will finally have higher tier SE-options outside the Ghorgon RoR without innate flaming attacks, so you are actually not instantly countered by Chaos Dwarfs fire resist anymore.
Overall everything sounds good, although several things make me cautious. Not to mention that Ca has been releasing several DLCs for completely broken units and characters and I doubt that will change now.
All those changes had me nodding. That's a lot of small changes which add up. Khorne already was fine and fun and has been elevated even further. So far I love it. The general demon changes with the respawn could be great. DLC stuff also looks fine. This is good. If the rest of the DLC makes as much sense, the game will eat another thousand hours of my time.
I think Skulltaker has a juggernaut in lore, and there is one behind him in the main poster image so it’s possible he does have a mount. Guess we’ll see when the gameplay trailer drops
Damn they are really stacking all the cancer on Scyla, only missing healing. Though the mortis effect is already ingame as an item for daemon price, the radius is just 20m so it basically only affects one infantry unit at time. And Glorious Charge isn't that good on a single entity, Settra's chariot has it and it does jack shit. Assuming Skarr's healing isn't broken I like his buffs. Minus armour is an effect khorne really can use, they have no existing leadership decreases either. Would have to see what kind of buffs bloodspeaker offers. Rest of the units don't seem to really contribute much that the existing units already don't. I guess they can do vanguard rush now with khorngors, but that's about it.

Great commentary as always, but one question: is it actually confirmed that immune to flanking removes the MD penalty on the side and rear? I thought it only prevents the morale penalty from being flanked.
Arbaal has been the character I have wanted most since the very first game was announced in 2015. Very hyped for this.

In the preview today he had the Juggernaut and also a skullthrone as mount, which makes sense as he had both options in TT.

Ehh, settras chariot is a piece of trash so I wouldn’t use it as an example of glorious charge being bad on SE’s.

Yes it gives immunity from both penalties. The tooltip says that it takes "no penalties" from being flanked.
