I gotta say, I've had my LE about 7 weeks and I absolutely love it. And it keeps getting better. Shoots fantastic. And people that come over tend to play it more than ST, JP, and even Godzilla. Just a great pin.
Same here with my LE. My one complaint might be that it can be a bit of along player (similar to GZ), but that's just a preferance I have currently for more brutal SS style games. Jaws is definitely a top 5 pin for me.
It's a good game. My 2nd favorite Elwin after Godzilla. I like the shots and rules a lot.
I agree that the pro has all the major shots and the shark coming out of the playfield is whatever for me. Really good pro package imo

JAWS has definitely grown on me since it came out, I really enjoy it now. It's crazy how many points the video mode can provide you.
I prefer Avengers over Jaws, the loop top flipper ramp on avengers is really satisfying. Nothing in jaws is really very satisfying to shoot.
Totally agree. Jaws is just not that fun. AIQ definitely a better shooter.
I agree, but I upgraded the bottom flipper coils on my Avengers premium and shoots like a dream. Inverted ramp shot is the most satisfying shot ever in pinball.
I really like playing the Premium Jaws by me. Man versus shark is a great theme to me. The audio is excellent. I look forward to playing it a lot more.

I love a lot of different IPs and the Jaws LE resonated with me so I shelled out for it and am currently still loving it.
I was able to play the Premium on location and got lucky to get to Rescue Multiball in my very first games on it.
My main gripes on the game are how the shots are spaced out so you need to know where the ramps and orbits are, not being able to hit the 3 bank target often from the mini flipper and starting Fish Finder modes, and learning how to get some action on the upper playfield when my ball's up there (I keep forgetting to use that).
I'm gonna try again later and play more games on it, this might be better to play than Godzilla, personally speaking of course.
I agree with your premise. Jaws is one of our family’s top 5 movies so we absolutely love it.
I think the one thing that saved it was the video mode. That was awesome
The more you play the premium the easier the wave ramp will become for you. That upper playfield is essential because of all the options it provides you. It spots shots, diverts balls and provides wheel awards. It really rewards you in gameplay for being a tough shot. You can essentially get credit for 3 shots by going up there.
Thus why the premium is where it’s at.

It's a nice game. I like it more than FF. The shark needs to eat the ball. How cool someone made the mod! Elton John is very fun!
Once you get the premium shot down (wave ramp), you can hit it all day...The combo (the upper playfield to the inverted loop to the reverse spinner) on the premium is unlike any other combo in pinball. Premium so worth it...the wheel awards, upper playfield, and the bash shark make the premium the hands down winner

I feel Jaws is a better theme for Pinball than a handful of other recent releases. Its been a top 10 movie for me all my life, but im also 52 years old and grew up with it. So I totally understand how it could not attract the younger crowd.
Regardless..... I should be getting my Pro this week or next. 🙂

You mean LE. Why pay $3k for a CE over an LE? LE’s lose so much value.
So for jaws I like the ramp shots but that wave ramp being a tall 180. Same problem as any stern the flipper coils getting hot after a few games and loosing the power to make the ramp. Pro all the way. The IC stuff is cool I guess. I did enjoy my time with Jaws. But there are other machines I rather have. Like Foo Fighters
What will stern bring talks of John Wick & recently Pokémon? The license for Pokémon would be insane I have no interest in a theme sense but an investment yes!!!! 1 that could go way up in value as seen in all Pokémon items
Love the theme! I’m 46 and I was absolutely terrified of the ocean when I was a little kid. Saving up to grab a premium.

I finally appreciate the upper playfield, and now, even really, really like the upper playfield. It took me a month. Maybe increase the power on right flipper, I did not need to, but I neededt to concentrate or hold before shooting that shot. Premium is the way to go for sure. After two weeks on each maybe either or, now prem no doubt. Fyi sold godzilla to get jaws. Godzilla may be a better game but it takes a long time and I finished it. Get me a bond 60!
Man, I don't get people hating on AIQ. Such a great shooter. Also, the wave ramp to upper pf ramp shot is my favorite combo in pinball. It's not easy, but when you hit it, it's pure kinetic satisfaction. I'm definitely not a jaws fan, but I'm loving the game. Until you've had time on the prem/le to dial in the wave ramp to upper pf ramp, I'd recommend spending some more time on it.
No one denies that the AIQ game shoots great, but the code seems to be where people have problems following is all.
@@CaryHardy I've beat Thanos and I still can't say I understand the rules. It's just such a great shooting game. Best advice I ever received on AIQ was, "Don't worry about the rules, just keep shooting and enjoy the flow." Everything will fall into place.
I love game play aiq. I love game theory. I really liked aiq, but sold it. Game theory is too much, I don't need max score if you are having a great game. I wrote up possible high scores but it was 3 pages, too much. Great shooting game not a keeper do not like rjs code just too much. Even Elwin says do not over think it. ORDER JP GODZILLA JAWS IM AIQ AND BOND60 IS TOP NOTCH if you can afford it great to own.

-I agree on theme. Not my first pick, but neither was Godzilla and I don't see myself getting rid of that game.
-I agree on Pro - I'm primarily a pro buyer -less things to break, I personally don't care as much about big fancy mechs as most. I want to enjoy the code and progression and work on the achievements. I don't see myself buying this game but I would consider trading for it in the future when it's got some age on it. You didn't mention the art. I think they did pretty good with the art package. I would put it even with JP only because they did a better job with the overall assets. The sound package is AMAZING on this game.
art is something can be judged by release pics for the most part. Pretty sure i mention art on a previous video or stream.

Jaws rips. Easily his second best right behind Godzilla. The Premium is where it’s at. Pro is good, but the upper playfield adds more satisfying shots. The code is fucking excellent now.

If your a jaws fan this I got JP love it but jaws just pass it for me and Godzilla I think is great not a fan of theme n I think little overrated but it is good

Which theme do you like best? Personally, the only Elwin pin I would own is Iron Maiden 🤷♂️. But that’s just me.

I couldn't care less for the theme just like you. Never understood the adulation for this movie anyway. But, played the game and fell in love in a couple of Games. I played 30 so far and things changed. That wave ramp became so irritating... And, when you have a slow shot and you're ball ain't coming back straight. That damn track for the fin will grab the ball and bring it to the right side. It's so annoying. That beeing Said, The mini flipper with flip-lock and those targets on the left Side + that 180 shot on the left, this is pure fun. I thought for a few weeks that it might be my 1st machine. Now, I know I will enjoy playing it on location, and it's gonna end there.

Played them both and I liked the pro better. Not on my list to buy but if I was to get one it would be the pro.

Good question. I almost want to say too damn many! I kept skipping passed to get back to playing. They have a lot of footage from the movie(s) though. I didn't much attention to the display while playing.
I’ve played a few premiums now. Some wave ramps are easier than others. In fact, some wave ramps are down right a pain in the ass. My high on a premium is over 400 mill. The shot I hate is the reel. It fucking kills me. Every time I try to hit it, it goes in on the left side and doesn’t register.
Still love the game and theme. In fact I’m probably going to sell my pimped out Godzilla to buy one. (I’m local if you’re interested.)😂

I never understood the appeal of Jaws the movie either and im 43. The game looks solid but that theme just doesn't grab me
I loved Jaws the movie as a kid and thought it would be a dream theme. I think the artwork is horrible and don't care for the layout at all. 2/10 for me. My local arcades have a pro and premium and I don't care for ether.
100% agree. Jaws, Jurassic Park, more Marvel…. None of those themes are for me. The only Elwin pin I have enjoyed shooting though are Jaws and IM.
Tried pro and premium, didnt like the pro at all, and the premium was ok. I grew up in the Jaws era, and it was never interesting to me. Mad Max, or Smokey & the Bandit would have been up my alley.
I dont want to revisit old themes regardless, bring on the Wicks, the 6 underground, the umbrella academy, The Boys, etc. Something new
Played pro this week. Meh. Some cool shots. I’ll have to play it more…but I wouldn’t trade any of my 4 pins for it: GZ, DP, IM, Vm

I would not call myself a huge fan of the movie, but I liked it and it is definitely a classic. I've played less games than you on a premium and it was fun, although i did have a couple air balls. I will not be adding it to my collection. It just not for me. I also think JP is a better game.

I love the movie jaws, but this game didn't do anything for me. I'm not a fan of the layout or the rules. Went with Labyrinth.
I love Jaws the movie but did not like the pin. Pass for me sadly. Another theme I love wasted.
I also preferred the pro over the premium for the same reasons. And I love the theme. But I’m not gonna own it. I hate saying that but it just feels underwhelming overall…
The amount of air balls shooting over the fin as the play field flexes is unacceptable to me.
Pro is a very doable option. Theme is fine for me. I’d be hard pressed to think you’re a child fan of Godzilla?
Not a "fan" of Godzilla, but that game has so much more going for it to where theme isn't as big of a factor. I did play A LOT of Godzilla on the NES though...

Jaws wasn’t for me, liked the movie growing up but not a must have theme for me. Gave it all the time in the world on both pro and premium. Just not a fan of it.
