It’s easy to see why people like this song so much. The underlying chords follow a very predictable “pop format”. This lady gives the cello so much emotion. An impressive performance.
So I just found this today, and you’re awesome! I went ahead and purchased the sheet music, and have one question after my first practice session.... how exactly does the second beat of 51 work? All of the other ornamentation is surprisingly intuitive despite my not having tried much Irish music, this one stumped me. (Day one, I know). Anyway, my compliments on a great arrangement, it really lies well under the fingers. I’ll definitely be performing this from time to time 🙂

The ornament is a down bow, and fast grace note but not sure I even get it in, so you can leave it out, or just go for the semiquavers on second beat fast with the bow so you 'accidentally' catch the B. I think I separate the last 2 quavers of that bar to get a down on the beginning of bar 52. Any ornamentation that doesn't fall easily should be ignored, and in the style add your own wherever you feel it can fit or suits. Go crazy!
I've played the piano and organ almost all my life. I don't know why, but hearing this canon is like nails on a chalkboard to me. It's like a brutally simple keyboard exercise. I literally had to stop the video after 10 sec. It's like torture. lol
