i 100% agree with you about the cello being the perfect pitch.. i've been a violinist for many years now, but i've always adored the sound of the cello. 😢 one day i'll have enough to splurge on one
Its so nice to see all these wonderful comments about how nice the cello sounds! Im a cellist and our section in my orchestra is ignored or considered not important compared to other instruments (because our conductors ex wife was a cellist lmao). So im happy so many people enjoy the instrument! It makes me happy!!!
don't mind me pls Cello is a wonderfull instrument, I prefer cello over violins to be honest. An orchestra would sound so incomplete and empty without it
In my class, the cello's are most esteemed. We never need help from the teacher with our music, and when we do it's usually a misprint in the music XD Compared to the other sections we're like gods of our instruments

One can only experience it. Learn to play anything and find a friend to play with. It is a beautiful form of communication. To me, if you dream of flying, this is what it must feel like... Truly exhilarating!
I am currently 20 weeks pregnant and play this collection for the baby. Today I was playing it on my phone as it rest on my belly and got a message. I stopped the video and checked my message and my baby gave me a strong one two kick until I put the music back on! Love your work!
I’ve been going through a really intense depression. I finally decided today to start therapy, I re-arranged my entire room and cleaned up, now I’m in bed I’m reading this self help book while listening to this. My cat just died today. I love her so much and i played this like a tribute. I really felt the loss but felt relieved with these music thinking that she no longer has to endure pain and rest with the Creator
The spirited away music is the most beautiful melody I've ever heard. This brought me tears. We are all so blessed to have Studio Ghibli music in our lives. This amazing music helps us get through our hard times and that's something not everyone can do. We should be greatful for such incredible melodies and music. Bless Joe Hisaishi for his great music :)
It was more than 25 years ago when I first watched Kiki’s Delivery Service. Both my little boy and I fell in love with the movie. I was moved by the music as well. Since then, I have introduced more movies to my two children. We watched every piece of creation repeatedly. I listened to all the theme music and songs time after time. Thank you, Mr. Hayao Miyazaki / Studio Ghibli. Your masterpieces lighten my heart and soften my sorrows. Thank you, Joe Hisaishi. You have made my harsh life bright and cherry.
Usually, when a movie has music I really like, I download it and put it on my iTunes so I can listen to it all the time. But with Studio Ghibli movies, particularly Spirited Away, it always felt wrong, like listening to them outside of the context of the movie somehow reduced the sense of mystery and wonder I would get while watching the movie. And I never want to listen to this music so much that it becomes mundane, so I've always avoided listening to it outside of when I watch the movies... but I will make an exception to my rule this time, to listen to these beautiful arrangements, even if just once!
Listening to this makes me want to play the cello right now. It's kind of funny but recently I got REALLY into cello and one day we watched a movie about Bach in school and the class finished while one of my favorite cello suites was playing. Everyone got up and left early it was only me still paying attention and then I got this idea. I walked into a music school just to get some information about cello lessons. I was just curious but I accidentally bumped into a cello teacher and he took me to a cello lesson. He told me if I have luck I can start in november. I feel like it's a sign and I really wish to get in. Please cheer for me~

Listening to this at 6am while getting ready for school and my eyes starts tearing up. Didn't understand at first when people in the comment section said that it made them emotional but now I know why
I can only say thank you. This video encompasses the phenomenal expression and musicality of the cellists, and arouses a near-mournful nostalgia within me. These films were my childhood, and the cello is my future. So, once again, thanks!!!
I play cello and one of my best friends plays piano so I feel like this was made for us and I'm totally gonna make her learn it in her spare time with me

the Legend of Ashitaka gives me chills along my spine and gives me serious goosebumps all over my arms and my outer thighs and my cheeks. when i think about it, only the music from studio ghibli can ever do that to me.
The sound of the cello and piano together is such a good blend and the fact that both of these instruments have different sound qualities is fascinating. This is why im a cellist and pianist. If i could learn more instruments than 5, would be extremely ecstatic.
The cello is a bass note instrument. The severe notes are felt by the spinal medulla and transmitted directly to the brain. That's why it has such a powerful sound. It is the first sound to arrive in the brain and we do not hear it with the ear, but with our bones. =)
That's fascinating! My sister is starting on the cello, and it was so different from when I started on the violin ten years before...when I started, my violin sounded like a screeching cat until I learned to control my bow, but the sound she was able to produce with her little cello was just this wave of loveliness, despite her never playing before...I was like what T^T Thank you for this wonderful little lesson about the cello! I love it even more now :3 In a way, both the musician and the listener are a part of the instrument itself.
@@uelideschwart4056 totally agree, despite low frecuencies are sensed by some mechanoceptor i skin and in the body in general, they have to be very loud or near. we mainly hera with our "ears" xD
Nausicaa was my favorit movie growing up and when ever i hear the music i just think back to then, damn no other movie hold a place in my heart such as nausicaa does. No other movie even comes close. I love it. Its the foundation of my childhood
I'm reading this book that is freaking tragic towards the end. So much so that I don't want to read it anymore. I need a big break because I don't want to feel so sad. I saw it coming, because it's that kind of soul crushing book but right before the storm there is happiness and the author really used that in the story so as to make the tragedy even more sad. Man, it always sort of helps to listen to ghibli, no matter what big or small thing you're going through
I used to love falling asleep to this video. With the amount of ads its impossible now. Just as I start drifting off, an ad screams at me and I'm wide awake again. So now not only am i nostalgic for Ghibli reasons, but also times when ads weren't spaced 5 minutes apart -.-

The cello is bass, tenor, and treble technically because its range is that big. Mainly bass and tenor though.
as beautiful as that sounds, unfortunately it's medically/physiologically very inaccurate :x
@@uelideschwart4056 totally agree, despite low frecuencies are sensed by some mechanoceptor i skin and in the body in general, they have to be very loud or near. we mainly hera with our "ears" xD
and the path between the ear and brain is much shorter than bone-medulla-brain
Nausicaa was my favorit movie growing up and when ever i hear the music i just think back to then, damn no other movie hold a place in my heart such as nausicaa does. No other movie even comes close. I love it. Its the foundation of my childhood

I'm reading this book that is freaking tragic towards the end. So much so that I don't want to read it anymore. I need a big break because I don't want to feel so sad. I saw it coming, because it's that kind of soul crushing book but right before the storm there is happiness and the author really used that in the story so as to make the tragedy even more sad. Man, it always sort of helps to listen to ghibli, no matter what big or small thing you're going through
I can't explain how beautiful this is
I used to love falling asleep to this video. With the amount of ads its impossible now. Just as I start drifting off, an ad screams at me and I'm wide awake again. So now not only am i nostalgic for Ghibli reasons, but also times when ads weren't spaced 5 minutes apart -.-
skip to the last of the video....then rewind...maybe the ads won't interrupt u then...? its best to try
@@huriyafate8688 ahh, I haven't tried this yet. Thank you!
@@Senrikkk Does it work? I was studying and an ad just yelled at me ;-;
@@jiminbang5822 sometimes it works, other times it just loads new ads at different parts of the video :( it's about 50/50
