I am totally stuck, I installed the recovery rooted and unlocked it, im in the recovery boot for fugu and it will not install the cm 12.1 from sideload adb or by usb stick, no matter what it will not recognize my sd card. If you could help out it would be gretly appreciated.
I'd recommend a Logitech K400 for mouse/keyboard. It's a keyboard/trackpad in one, and it's wireless. However I haven't tried anything else. Maybe there's a Bluetooth solution that would work better...
any clue about Bluetooth mice? it finds them tries pairing, then cursor shows up. then says pairing failed and cursor goes away. the cursor when it shows up can be moved and everything just as a final result won't fully pair to the player? opinions

Get a Rapoo keyboard with touchpad. I use that with my Toshiba Encore WT8-A, and with my Xbox360E. It is really cheap, but feels "premium quality" when you use it.
i want to revert back to stock because im having to many issues with this rom, to many force closes. no browser, es file explorer keeps closing with the error unfortunately gallery has stopped, when the gallery has nothing to with es file manager. so how do i flash stock
love the video man , I have the player as well and I'm a big kodi user but I also like Google and Amazon instant video from time to time can u use both those applications on the mod? please big factor for me.

Urgh, I followed this to a tee, but when checking if files have been pushed to /sdcard directory before wiping data, they files are never there. Any ideas?

Wow this seems so old now.No one in 2020 ould want stock android over android tv os.I had a Nexus back in the day,even had the the first sony google box that came out.Nvidia Shield makes this all laughable now.Good to go back n some old school action though.

I haven't rooted stuff in the past, so what exactly is the command line to open on your computer. How do you do stuff like that?

my nexus player will not see adb but it is seen in fastboot can push files to devices thru adb

Manually install the adb drivers and make sure adb debugging is turn on

If your running 6.0 marshmallow ypu need to downgrade then You need to push through adb commands to internal storage of the nexus player
