  • A Brit Cooking in Golden Sands Bulgaria 🇧🇬
In this video I agreed with Vagiv, The Master Kavkazi Chef, to prepare a barbacu together.
I set out to the Varna Kolkhoz Market to buy the freshest ingredients and share with you my secrets for preparing the best Hummus in the world, some Yemeni Skhug, and a Tahini dressing.
Although Vagiv is the Master at making Barbacue, I think I managed to learn enough to share it with you all one day.
If you enjoy adventure videos from the former Soviet Union and Central and Eastern Europe, then grab your vodka, some zakusky and join me as I spend the day Cooking with Master Chef Vagiv at this magnificent resort on the Black Sea coast in Golden Sands near Varna Bulgaria.

It will be a great pleasure to meet you in your hometown, because I have lived in London for many years. You might be interested in me showing you my favorite Bulgarian and Russian shops. Justin, next time you are in North-East Bulgaria, you should really go to Balchik. It is a pretty unique place. It is both a historical town and a seaside resort. It has a castle and botanical gardens. It is also nicknamed the White City because it is surrounded by white hills. It is a pretty unique town that has a very unique vibe to it. Check it out online. Should definitely be on your list. You could also definitely make several videos on it since there will be plenty of content.

Ahh ja Veggies look amazing at the market. Me so hungry for those beautiful lamb and potatoe kebabs with that nice wrapper and your sauces. I have not made Humus since I moved back to Europe 15 years ago. I used to make it all the time in the US because the stuff you bought in the stores WAS CRAP...I can pick up some decent ones here in Praha. We used to get the Marks and Spencers one from the grocery store there, but since Brexit we can't get fresh foods no more :-( I miss those Bangers from there, they were perfect for breakfast. I got to go and eat at that place when we go to Bulgaria,,,,prob will be August Me so hungry. Thanks for the Video Dude!

Oh no, you didn't!!! Here I am commenting before seeing the entire video, but, dude, fresh coriander? Not sure if you found "kinza", this devil weed we call cilantro here in North America. I. HATE. THAT. $#!%. As does a large proportion of Bulgarians... so I kind of hope you did not succeed.
Long story short, it's genetic, and that's why you don't see the green stuff for sale in Central and Eastern Europe (we do use the coriander seeds, they are totally different): too big a percentage of the population hates it. The aldehydes that people like me find so incredibly offensive are related to those stinkbugs emit. You know, Mother Nature's way of saying "Danger! Poison! Run for your life". You mutants with your defective taste buds go "Yummmm".
I forgive you though, and will finally hit "Subscribe".
Edit: Drat, you found it. Notice she had to go to the back to get you some. Ain't nobody buying that stuff.
