Oh, I love your button jars, Janet! I think these are my favorites of all the little things you’ve made with tulle. And how wonderful, the way the buttons bunched up when you sewed around the jar, making them look so realistic! 😃 Thank you for sharing this cute slow stitch idea! 😊❤️🐾

Another cute slow stitch idea, thank you Janet. I do have a button jar story! So when I was little, my grandmother had a big 4 litre ice cream tub full of buttons, that she’d let me play with whenever I came over. It was my favourite thing to do at her house, sort and organize the hundreds of buttons. Then, when she sold her house and moved when I was in my teens, I found out she left the bucket o’ buttons behind, instead of giving them to me. 😮😮😮. I think it traumatized me a bit, as from then on I had to buy every bag of buttons I saw. My grandmother also felt guilty, as she also started buying me every bag of buttons she came across. 😂😂 Thankfully I’ve gotten over it, after selling 25 litres of buttons off when I was packing to move, although I still have quite a few jars left. 😂

@@janetnash I was actually thinking more of the button jar size, as in a fan shape of material with a bit coming down like a posy handle. Only an idea if you wanted to try it. Well I'm in the middle of a sketch that I will paint with watercolours. I have cut out the cardboard bit for an art journal cover I'm going to make. Cut some mixed media paper for the journal as I want to have some pages in the journal that I will create on and some pages that will inspire me to create. Just finished a crochet cardi which is too big for me, hopefully I won't grow into it 🤣, it will be my cosy 'home' cardi in the winter.

I love it! Great for my slow stitch journal. Today's Quote:" "Each person who delivers kindness stays with us forever." - Robin S. Sharma." Harry Potter and the friends, Ladybird on a flower with his cat friend, a wooden mushroom, Flo and Jennifer had journals on their laps. A banana for a snack. Lisa and her fur babies. Doris, Annie, Derek, Mary, Tea, Mini and Kitty. Love the crochet blankets. Freddy waited patiently for the treats. Huge HUGS From Lillian, Rose and Josephine, Buddy, Rose, Lulu Ladybug, and Pineapple County Gang.🐞🧚🐾
Lala thank you so much, it will be a lovely gentle no pressure sew for your fabric journal. Thank you for the lovely quote. Sending love to you all, Flo sends her love to little Lillian ladybug 🐞 fairy 🧚♀️ and Freddie sends his love to little Buddy.
Good night 😴 sweet dreams. Love you 🐞🐾🧚

Back at you sweet girl. 🐞🐾🧚
Loving the button jars! 😍What about a flat button flower posy, with a cut out bow on Janet?!😃
Oh what an absolutely amazing idea I do love a brooch, it does fit in with this cosy feeling I have at the moment whilst sewing and sorting buttons thank you. Are you creating at the moment ? 😊
Oh I understand like a basket what a fabulous idea. After marking the baby jacket, I am thinking of crocheting a cardi for myself too, you can’t beat a cosy ‘over - sized’ cardi can you.
Your journal sounds so creative have fun and relaxing times in it 🩵
I love the button jars Janet …you could have one as a badge or even appliqué a couple on a jacket instead of pockets !! Hurray for Freddie and Flo …..
Oh Jim thank you, oh definitely, great idea and I do love a brooch/pin. Maybe two made into a needle book ? Oh the possibilities 🧵
I love that girl…..
Cal thank you so much, sending love 💕
