according to the Chinese formula All dim sum fillings are mixed with pork fat to make the ingredients stick together, even it's a shrimp filling ,but it will also mix with pork fat.

Hi Walid. Normally for moslem we don’t go to Chinese restaurant to get dim sum. Simply because not many choices to pick due to not halal.
Instead you can go to any halal dim sum restaurant in KL or Selangor. Just Google and here I help you list out few halal dim sum -
    Dodo Dim Sum & Bowls
    Dolly Dim Sum
Yu by Ruyi, The Gardens Mall
    Lai Poh Heen, Mandarin Oriental
    Mohd Chan Dim Sum
    Homst Chinese Muslim restaurant
    DIN by Din Tai Fung
    Chynna, Hilton Hotel
    Opium KL, Changkat
Normally if i craving for Chinese food. I would definitely pick HOMST Chinese Muslim restaurant. Because it has many branches round KL, second the price is very reasonable and third the chef is Chinese Muslim guy.

@@AndredstuffRedstuff-kz5oc in western country, muslim have limited choice of halal food. As such for emergency they can take it with excuse. But In Malaysia, the muslim can meet halal anywhere. No reason bro.

The right way to eat Dim Sum is to start with steam savoury items first followed by fried stuffs then dessert sweets like eggs tarts or jelly pudding

even if it's shrimp dim sum.
It also contains pork fat 'cause pork fat will cause the mixture to stick together.

Most Chinese operated dimsum are not halal as pork is the main ingredient. You can get halal dimsum at some hotels or at restaurants operated by Malay or Muslim (like Mohd Chan dimsum)

That make Muslims in Malaysia are true Muslim than others Muslim in the world. Even Indonesian as a biggest Muslim in the world also does not care what they consume whether it halal or not.
