Hi Thea, my village building begins in Sept, lol. It's ALEAYS by "the seat of my pants" as it's new every year. People ask why not leave it up? But that somehow detracts from the excitement of preparations. I enjoy seeing what your doing also and find collaboration amongst villagers is fun and exciting as that's how we all better our villages!
Wow you are really industrious to start in September. I wish I could have started earlier but there was too much going on in my life!! 😖 Not too late yet. It is fun watching how others do their villages, isn't it? I love to search other villagers out and see their creations. Thanks for watching!
It's a VD-190 Hot Knife Cutter. I don't use it often, as it emits quite a bit of vapour when cutting, but it's very easy to use. They are available at Amazon.com. If you get one, be sure to wear a face mask to protect your lungs.
Yes, I saw you were wearing a face mask thanks so much for the information. I’m 70 and believe it or not, I’m gonna try to do a village. My husband has a lot of those sheets of foam as he was a builder until his stroke last year. So at least I will be off to a good start on that. I emptying out my breakfast nook now, so I will be able to set up saw horse & ply boards. Thanks again I will keep visiting you to learn.
@@sherrisurles1155 Wow Sherri, good for you!!! I'm 73 and three months ago was using a walker I had so much pain in my hip. So if I can do it, so can you. My biggest problem is I only have so much gas in the tank for one day and then I'm done. But you and I are two determined chicks! You go girl!!
Yeah gurl, we have that mental stamina that makes the body go. I hope your feeling better. I was getting injections in my back for deteriorating discs. They wanted me to have surgery and put in what they showed me looked like fake disc with rods and I said Nope. Maybe way down the line, my GP recommended a type of antidepressant that fools the brain into thinking you have no pain plus two Tylenol for arthritis every a.m. She & another Dr. I went to said yes this will work for pain, but don’t overdo it, cuz it’s still there. So now I function well with no steroid shots in the back.
Yay, you're back. I can't wait to see what you create this Christmas Season.
Good start 👍 Happy to follow you in te next videos...
Welcome aboard!
