Although there are some excellent specialist manuka honeys down here in Australia that are amazing. The crafts your Mum makes are very appealing. I have good horticulturalist training and experience who can easily enjoy living your lifestyle. Seems you have developed a wonderful range of fruits, berries, vegetables and herbs, quite extensive, good looking polytunnel as well which helps a lot. Your lifestyle of living from the land super appealing.

Around here it's traditional to pickle watermelon rind. Tastes pretty good, too, though I've only tried it once. I'm not sure about the recipe but a basic sweet pickle recipe should work.
