Yes. I use my iPad mini by scrolling up and down really fast while taking a video in slow motion just so I can see something that with my natural eye/view will never see.
Thank you. I'm so tired of these videos taking about jelly scrolling when normal people don't scroll that way on a small screen. He only bought it just to do a video on. why on earth would you get it 512 gb ipad mini and pay almost $1,000 when you have a pro already. I ordered the new mini with 128 no cellular, and I also have the new pro . I'm upgrading my 5th generation ipad mini.
Thank you so much for the insightful video - new follower today You mentioned it’s quite valuable in a smaller aircraft. Two Qs: 1. How does it fare in peak sunlight with 500 knit brightness 2. Does the screen size feel easy to read in the cockpit or is it a compromise still for the compactness
Can you explain why it’s cumbersome to take notes on the iPad mini in comparison to the pro? Thinking about using mine for taking notes but unsure which to get
It’s crazy how some of these people just flat out lied about the scrolling. I picked up the new mini but the scrolling hurts my eyes. I’m going to keep it a week to see if I can get over it - if not, I’m returning it.
i've seen the jelly scroll tests and it's still there but it's so small so you don't see it. that's why you can say it's gone, because if you really don't actively SEARCH for it, you won't see it.
I fly and use the iPad mini 6 for now. For my cirrus, it’s the perfect size. That’s what I’m watching this video on. I’ll probably wait to upgrade my mini since I don’t think there’s too much difference. Really good video, side note my watch has the same wallpaper set up
@@ChiliStyles thanks! I’ve been thinking about a collab with you for a while. Im pretty slammed on time, but when the smoke clears, we should chat it up.
@@PilotPerkins that would be awesome to do. I can’t fly airlines since I’m unable to get a first class medical. I’d love to pick your brain on what that’s like.
Samsung/Android needs an 8.X "pro" tablet with 120Hz, OLED, and Fingerprint scanner on Power button or in-display. The mini size is so nice, I had the 6 and ended up selling it. I wanted an eReader size tablet to compliment my 11 in tablet I use in landscape for writing and video. These companies don't seem to get what consumers want, and for Apple their followers justify buying their BS - until that changes - they wont innovate or get competitive - consumers should NEVER be satisified and KEEP your FOOT on these companies NECKS - we should have FLEW into a rage and boycotted when they started to charge over $1,000.00 for cellphones - and over the last several years the "upgrades" have been "meh" - so the cost should have decreased - nope. Consumers need to take back their power, these companies stopped competitng and we suffer for it
Mine don’t jelly scroll I even filmed mine in a slow motion to try to see if I could see it and I still couldn’t see it if it was there It was just barely so somebody has some really sensitive eyes.
1:00 I have not seen one single reviewer say jelly has been fixed, you could have skipped that wasted time. Most of this video is fixed on this, a waste of time.
I don’t care about jelly scroll since I only read/ or view when I’m done scrolling. Now if I had super human powers that allowed me to view while scrolling then it might be a problem for me. Now I guess if someone plays games on iPad that could be a problem.
We love the iPad mini it’s fabulous and jelly scrolling who cares it’s not worth thinking about.Since you’re a Pilot here’s a great book to read by James Holland the Battle of Britain a non fiction account of our Spitfire and Hurricane Pilots who saved our ass from the Germans.I think you would enjoy this book give it a go.

@@Oneverythangilove Absolutely! I also upgraded from a mini 5, and got the 128gb as I have the Pro as well.

You will take what Apple gives you and be thankful
Thank you, Apple!
I never noticed the jelly scroll on my Mini 6. I'm guess I'm just lucky.
Bro got 2 whole bottles of lotion on his desk

Apple: you are scrolling it wrongly

I musst give it back, it feels very cheap against the smooth of the iPhone.
I think some of the jelly scrolling issue comes down to panel lottery. There's inconsistencies in panel production.
Thanks for your review and telling the truth about the product .
I’ve never seen the jelly scroll on the 6 or the 7. You can't make me. 😏
Thank you for being honest! 💯% Facts!
I sold my pro and ordered the mini because it was just so hardy yo type the pro and I felt to big to carry so it gathered dust
I couldn't believe Brian from CNET lied about the jelly scroll and even defended it in the comments
Who cares it’s nothing what’s the big deal You tech guys should stick the Pro range.
Absolutely. The average users simply don’t care. These reviewers should just stick to the pro products.

not the renovation excuse. come on its 2024, come out with better ones

Just stick to the pro what else you want all the pro Fishers on a mini just learn the deference
