Mana drain your uncounterable questing beast into combo win was absolutely beautiful.
Just based on recent thumbnails, LSVs complaint equity regarding power is evaporating. The long, dark night without power is over!
He’s 75% on time walk the last 4 drafts.
Also he’s averaging about 3 or 4 pieces of power a draft lately, if you include forth eorlingus, and I do.
What you don’t understand is that losing the complaint equity is actually really unlucky
“Load bearing manamorphose” is a great phrase
I died from a turn 4 Comet when I was at 20 life. Never saw the card before and couldn't comprehend what just happened. I'm still trying to recover from it.

Comet just did absurd things every time it was played.

Yeah sometimes it strikes out. Still an absurd card I've literally cast a Comet and killed an opponent from 20 life in one turn
Comet was snubbed in the top 50 cube cards video. It's way better than cards like broadside bombardiers or mystic confluence p1p1 imo.

When I first started watching I really loved learning from the channel, and I still do.
But I would love to see draft series possibly once a week that is a little more "for fun". The thought I had was trying out variations on the vintage cube team draft format.
Essentially trying out some change to the team draft format for one draft to see how it changes things and then trying out something else the next time, etc...
For example you could
- one where the team's can openly communicate during the draft in their own discord channel.
- one where the team shares a card pool after the draft and deckbuilds together (possibly limited time to build as well?)
- one where after the draft you swap card pools with an opponent (try to draft the worst deck)
etc...
Just some thoughts. Still love the content~

At the end of pack 2, this is an incredibly interesting draft! I think I'd have gone in on the chain lightning and then tried to hate reanimator, and ended up getting hooked by W/R and also messing up my team. The way LSV navigated this seat is really cool

This was a draft for the ages!
There were numerous available lines, all with very high winning probability, but it was surprising that the small brain play of "pump my Mana Drain mana into an x=5 Forth Eorlingas and bash" wasn't considered at 59:07, given that it could have been followed with Mystical for Time Walk the following upkeep for a second and third combat to finish them off. I love drawing cards as much as the next guy, but leveraging Time Walk for an extra attack for 10 seems more valuable than an extra Jace activation.
Ya, I don’t know how he didn’t go for the forth, at least on the turn after the time walk, as he found a land (and maybe talisman too?), so it still was x=4 for 8 damage and huge board presence. Instead he plays comet hoping to get lucky on a 1/3, and even that extra turn wasn’t a sure win, I would argue the position after a x=4 forth that turn was more likely to win than hitting a timewalk off the comet, or at least they are relatively close. But getting 2 1/1s or dealing damage which happens 66% of the time is kinda crappy

Someone took dockside extortionist from the time walk pack LSV opened!!! That means he must have been mono red and figured hating a good card like a delta or urza.
Also, someone took that new reanimate black land from that pack, instead of delta, tho almost definitely after the person who took the reanimate.
Finally the 3-0 we all deserve. Let's keep 'em going!
Really surprised about that Discovered Necromancy getting sacrificed. The last ruling on Gatherer and Scryfall is “The sacrifice occurs only if you cast it using its own ability. If you cast it using some other effect (for example, if another effect allowed you to cast it as though it had flash), then it won't be sacrificed.” Did the ruling change and not get fixed on Gatherer?

I had the same realization at the end of the draft, like wait a min, these are the top planes walkers ever except the king Minsc and Boo.
(And yes, t3feri is prob on par or better than Jace, big tef, and dack)

That line only does 8 damage. One of the saga tokens had summoning sickness and they both shrink when you use the lotus petal, which you have to do there to cast forth. It would be 3 (elk) + 3 (construct) + 2 (knight) = 8

I feel like LSV uses Oko’s exchange control mode way too often. I think it’s crazy to steal the 3/3 generous ent when it means putting Oko dead to bolt

Marvel needs to make a movie that begins with Time Mage LSV sentencing Thalia to an inescapable prison in the sideboard. It's so poetic that Thalia is this Avengers-Level threat to LSV's Planeswalker Army & Underworld Breach master plan. Perfect plot for a SuperHero Movie!!
