Or he picked a metal fitting, but the finance department changed it to save a couple bucks. Love my G37 , and all the Nissan Maximas I've had in the past, but seeing things like this is frustrating... especially when I have a '97 bone stock Honda Civic that is still kicking, and NEVER had any problems like this. My Civic is proof to me of what car companies CAN do if they WANT to. Original air conditioning... never had a leak... Original clutch (Not kidding)... everything still works... over 300k miles. Yup mined is a 2008 ex35 (vq35hr)and sure enough the connector peice one day while heat was on sent a puff of smoke from right side up under my hood, did it twice then went away as i was in motion, turned heat off immediately, long story short 2 weeks later due to leak always drying before i can find it, parked it on a hill turned heat on and BAM leaking at connector, baught extra hoses and things but literally only connector peice literally snapped in half and was brittle and broke apart as i was taking it apart..... took a good hour to 2 to do so cause i shouldve purchased long needle nose pliers.....but yea problem fixed!
When I was getting the old rusty plastic out it snapped I got all the pieace out but I think I dropped few little pieces inside, idk what to do I put everything back on a new one and my car was still overheating

Check your coolant level , if it the fluid keeps going down then it’s a leak in the coolant system, but since you mentioned the steering wheel maybe it could be power steering fluid making the noise , is the noise when your moving the steering wheel?
@@Gm29_mtz i’ll keep an eye on the coolant level since i don’t use the z as a daily car but about the sloshing sound it only happens when i fully stop and then accelerate and very rare when i take turns
How hard was it to get the hose off that goes back into the engine? I replaced the coupler piece and realized the hose that goes into the engine is now leaking
I used 2 oem hoses and adapter , but u can just buy 1 long hose from oreily, take your old hose ,show it ,and they’ll give u the length u need , u Just need to cut in half in order to put the adapter in between and for the adapter I recommend u buy the aluminum kind , so it will last forever
Use pliers to wobble them out , since they prolly never been taken out they are stuck, last option is to cut them off and make sure you clean the residue good

At 1:19 you can see the hose part number , I’m not sure exactly about the Size but you can search up the part number and the exact hose you need should pop up
That one is though but possible to take off , I do recommend using pliers that bend at the tip and keep wiggling the hose as u have a grip on the clamp , but last resort is to cut the hose with a pocket knife , ONLY if you are replacing the hose, cutting it can make the break the clamp loose

Yeaa I have the bleeder port on the driver side as well , I’ve some videos of people adding a bleeder port to the passenger side , which I would like to do one day as it will be a way to test the passenger side for leaks or any problems with the coolant system

That hose is plugging into your heater core for your climate.

That problem has to do with your sun roof hose being clogged , they have videos on TH-cam on how to unclog the sunroof hose

You can either clean it out , or order that part , it’s better to try and clean it yourself to save money and get the problem out the way

Mine wasn’t overheating , but check for any leaks around the area and inspect the hose for deterioration

It’s gonna be both ,inlet and outlet hose , it’s a 3 piece system with the connector in the middle , just make sure you get passenger side hose

You might as well replace both , bec if you decided to change another time , then you have to do the process again
And if it’s a hose that is heat resistant than it should be fine , as long as you clamp it down tight
