It’s so nice to be taken for a walk around the village again where we spent our 50th wedding anniversary in March with the family. We stayed in one of those beautiful Daylesford cottages opposite the Wild Rabbit and I did that circular walk in the morning with our dog. I was fortunate to have grown up in the Cotswolds and it will always be in my heart. The most beautiful of places.
You are right. The most beautiful village. Wish I could blink my eyes & transport myself there. Have a life there. How could anyone be sad in that environment. Beautiful filming as well! Best to you!
I absolutely loved taking this virtual walk through Kingham village in the beautiful Cotswolds! The elegant stone and thatch cottages dating back to the 17th and 18th centuries create such a picturesque and charming atmosphere. It's fascinating to learn about the village's rich history, dating all the way back to the Domesday Book of 1086. The fact that Kingham has a main line railway station to London adds a unique touch, making it even more accessible and convenient for visitors. No wonder it was voted "England's Favourite Village" by the readers of Country Life magazine in 2006! Thank you for sharing this delightful glimpse into Kingham and its nearby attractions like the Churchill and Sarsden Heritage Centre and Daylesford Organic. It's truly a place that captures the essence of the Cotswolds.

Kingham seemed to me an important village, because of the number of its houses and the good behavior of the streets and roads. Greenery everywhere. A peaceful and pretty village. Thank you Kevin for this pleasant walk 😀😀😀😀😀
Your country is very beautiful. Our family cemetery has loud interstate hiway running beside it. I've chosen a "green" cemetery to be buried as most here in America are not quiet and peaceful,
Yes it is, I don't think we always appreciate what is on our doorstep. I find Kevin's videos very relaxing. He shows us some of the prettiest villages around. I am fortunate enough to live in the same area.
Very beautiful!!! My husband and I lived in Banbury when he was in the USAF in 1984-1985 , he was stationed at Upper Heyford. Could you please do a video on Banbury? We lived in an old farmhouse on Broughton Rd.
What peace! I would spend hours reading a book sitting on that bench facing the cemetery! The Church is beautiful and what a lovely place! I need to know! Thank you Kevin for sharing yet another amazing video! 🤎💚
I know that for any of these residents to just live in the big city living for 48hrs. They would go insane 🤯. This is peaceful beautiful living. 100% . These types of videos helps relaxes a person. 🇺🇲
What a special place on this planet! Really need a holiday over that way..love all the thatched roofs in the Cotswolds.. seem to be less and less up here in the North.. great fiming also Kevin 📽🥾👌
Loved this ❣️ It was just so peaceful. I loved hearing your footsteps and the birds. I liked the way you covered the landscape of each house. Walking and looking at houses and landscaping was one of my favorite things to do.🙂 I can’t walk like I used to, so this was so nice, Thank you. 🇺🇸😍 Did you go in the Rabbit Hole for a drink?
I guess the day that Britains favourite village judging panel paid a visit all those horrible disgusting looking wheelie bins weren’t in full view, such a shame, everywhere you go these days, urban or rural they are a blight on the landscape, where I live in the inner city you expect them somewhat but surely efforts should be made by those responsible to try and keep them out of the public gaze in such a pretty and picturesque village, and Kevin I’m assuming you aren’t editing much at post but simply taking the card out of the camera and loading to TH-cam where really things like wheelie bins should whenever possible be edited out, having said that I have watched most of your videos and they are so relaxing, thank you
Your walks always have a calming effect on me. I love the historical buildings intermingled with nature. I'm curious as to why the stones are placed on end at the top of the fences? Was it strictly aesthetic or did it have a particular purpose?

These are real places. My uncle built a house in a Cotswolds village, the first for one hundred years, it had to be built of stone with wooden windows, no UPVC. Even then, the villagers didn't like it.
Another great video Kevin, Thank you. It has often made me wonder when going through these older villages, why most of the cottages all have the same coloured doors and window frames, could it be they are owned by the National Trust, or similar and that is the only option allowed?
Good question! Some buildings are listed and fall into either a grade I or grade II category. Listed buildings are protected, so to replace timber windows or doors on a listed building permission is required from the local authority. They make every effort to protect the characteristics of the buildings. During research, I read there are 48 listed buildings in this village, which is a lot.
O Heavenly God, I pray for those friends who are disappointed and discouraged in life. I pray that you will give their hearts the courage and strength to face the challenges of life. Help your children find the motivation to believe and persevere in the better days ahead. Nature always heals the wounds
Hello ❤ Thank You For Visiting Vietnam , Hope You Share This Video To Your Country . Because I Want It To Help Many You Know About My Countryside Landscapes ♥️♥️♥️ Thank You Very Much
Hi Kevin! I had a qiestion ... it's not specifically related to this video alone. I've noticed that many of the cottages have thatched roofs and some of them have an S symbol hanging on the outside walls. Can yuu please shed some light on this? Thanks!
NOTE THE POSH CARS. THESE HOUSES AND COTTAGES ARE VERY EXPENSIVE. AND WITH A MAINLINE RAIL LINK TO LONDON, YOU CAN ASSUME THAT MANY OF THESE HOMES ARE SECONDARY / HOLIDAY HOMES.
Thank you for kindly share the beautiful video
So beautiful........ calming..........a treat for heart and soul..!

Beautiful village. Question: How can it be considered the favorite Cotswold village when it is not technically located in the Cotswolds?

They are braces that run through the house and braced on the opposite wall to keep the walls from bowing out you see X shapes the most though..

Voted "England's Favorite Village" sort of reminds me of Hot Fuzz, with that whole crazy bit of voted Village of the Year.

Onde estao os habitantes? Parece uma cidade fantasma😢
Vehicles appear ‘foreign’ in these settings……..
What is that thick roofing material on some of the houses?
