    My shoulders have got progressively tighter working from home on computer to the extent that I wasn’t sleeping well at all for a few months. I’ve been doing this for 4 days and is making a huge difference! Thanks for this Sarah.

    Does this routine help with handstand form, my tight shoulders prevent me from getting into a straight line

    • @withsarahwhite
      @withsarahwhite  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes it will! Though there maybe other factors that contribute to the straight line also. I've actually just released a 4 week handstand intensive course: withsarahwhite.teachable.com/p/inverted-handstand-intensive
      you can also use code NEWYEAR22 for 15% savings in January!

    Amazing job Sarah,
    That’s one thing I really needed!
    One other thing I’m looking for is a way to straighten my elbows, when I extend my arms my elbows remain with a small angle (dunno if due to a stiff joint or to a defective one) , making difficult to maintain downward dog without a big effort on my triceps
    Any idea?
    Ciao

    • @withsarahwhite
      @withsarahwhite  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Marco, Sorry its taken a while to reply. Without actually seeing you its hard to say for definite what may or may not help you. If you've been lifting weights all your adult lift it could mean that the muscles responsible for straughtening the elbow have shortened. However in your downward dog right rotating the palms outwards a little to give yourself and your shoulders a little bit more space. I'm just about to publish a down dog tutorial so have a look on there to see what I mean. Hope it helps :) Sarah x

    The second to last stretch. If you place the palms facing up, it hurts your elbow a lot less.
