2006 Jetta TDI takes a while to start (three or four cranks before it starts) - fixed

If your Jetta tdi doesn’t start on the first turn over, you may have an issue with the camshaft position sensor, or more likely an issue with the wiring, which was what my issue was.
Note that if your Jetta takes longer than three or four turnovers you may have a fuel issue. ie high pressure pump, fuel tank vacuum problem (wrong fuel cap that cannot breathe), for example.

Just replace the whole harness man, the wiring is so weak now.
