One must admit this man had a personality which fitted well in a city crowded society and he did it with such simplicity. He did not just sell but he entertained and he broke the loneliness of a city with giving people part of himself. He was a brilliant salesman but I would say that he also had a good product to sell.

I’m guessing I must have bought ten of those great potato peelers from him over the years. I liked to watch his show while he worked several street corners, all over the city. He had quite the performance. Just like him, all my peelers are gone now. RIP master salesman.
