Streamers Team [ChessNetwork] Battle | Tournament #32

- This is the 4th Streamers Battle that was held on lichess.org on June 7th, 2020. 10 teams competed in this 2-hour event of 3|0 blitz. Team ChessNetwork was the team I competed for, naturally, along with 633 teammates. Members of the same team do not get paired against each other. The sum of the top 20 performers' scores equals the final team total for this event. In my mind if you compete for a team, you are a help to a team. Even if you are outside of the top 20 for team ChessNetwork, you are pushing other members to score higher. Moreover, defeating or even losing a hard fought battle to other competitors helps keep the scores of other teams less. I'm a self-taught National Master in chess out of Pennsylvania, USA who was introduced to the game by my father in 1988 at the age of 8. Moving the knight would lose a piece either way due to fxg5, so he saved the bishop which was a better piece than the knight.

Heart pounding endings on so many games. Opening tactics and middlegame
planning aren't the strongest but you pull out some solid and sometimes shaky but exciting premove time burner wins.

I’ve played Hikaru many games several years ago. Magnus...not that I’m aware...if so he was under an anonymous account. My peak over the board rating is my current rating...low 2200 FIDE. I haven’t competed over the board in a decade now.

He started uploading maybe once or twice a month on youtube, and Twitch was out of the question. And now he started streaming again and uploading his tournaments on youtube. So, that's that
