Joey you should make a VST Guitar Instrument, but have the focus be on Breakdown Chugs. Theres not one out there that exists yet, its really the only thing that is missing in the Virtual Instrument world. The chugs on literally every VST guitar just sound bad, because its recorded PER STRING... Would be so perfect, just record Open chugs on like 12 notes, and then Dissonant Fret 1 chugs. Joey you must get your bros to make this lol.
Odin II is pretty sick if you layer it with real guitars. Sometimes it sounds ok on it's own. Alan Rigdon (ex-Erra) is currently working on a guitar VST that is intended to be more realistic sounding. Definitely relate to the struggle lol.
I enjoyed the demo of this but found that all the other JST plugins have some kind of distortion in them. JW vox for example has a parallel distortion that sounds great, bus glue guitar and maximiser both have some kind of exciter. I’m still not sure about adding a specific plugin for distortion to my workflow at the risk of over complicating.
Great plugin BUT.. Every time the dude is gain staging he has to reach across the plugin waisting time for a faster workflow. I know there's an auto gain button but it might not always get it right. It's really missing a power button right next to the output gain knob. For fast A/B comparison..
There's two ways to quickly A|B - using the A|B next to the preset switcher (yes that's 66% away from the output knob), or you can also just flick the mix knob to 0% which is about 5% away from the gain knob. If you really want to A|B super fast, you would probably want to bind a key on your DAW instead.
Definitely a smart play on JST getting Buster to endorse it 🤙🏼
This dude is the king of distorting drums
Buster with da Edgar cut
that cut does NOT work for him lmao he looks fire with a slick back or a buzz

Busted!
Distortion is soooo mystical, and is able to solve almost everything in a mix and pre-mix.
More Buster demos please!
awesome plugin
This is exactly what I've been waiting for!

How do I get to the starting point in this video? It already sounds amazing before heat
hope they don't discontinue this one like the misha plugin
overtone of the snare needs a bit of eq in my opinion, but nice mixing
That’s gotta be Kristallfagel
Was the outro song mixed by Buster?
The outro song was mixed by George Lever
Great looking UI! Saturn looks so boring and uninspiring compared to this.
Buster is an absolute legend, like Joey. So cool to see him here!
I can’t believe we’re at a point where that’s a good sounding drum track
A copy of Saturn?
Getting Buster to make this pretty much confirms it.
definitely different in sound. It sounds bolder and crispier, yet richly smooth. Saturn is more subtle. I have this and that
me still rocking with trash2
