    As a kid, radish cake or lo bak go was definitely my favourite dim sum dish. So I'm pretty glad that it is super easy to make! If you guys are interested dim sum dishes that can easily be made at home then do check out my dim sum playlist: th-cam.com/video/LZvEQVgx-pM/w-d-xo.html

    I also like the fact that U let us test our skill mixing no actual amt of water to flour 👍

    I tried it to cook last night Sir, and it is much easier than the first one I learned in 1990's. It is easier and yummier , thank you Sir.

      4 part radish to 1 part flour gives a harder but easier to manage texture. 5 part radish to 1 part flour gives a softer but harder to manage texture. Please let me know how it goes.

      Yes, you are right but more water (or less rice flour) makes it harder to keep together, especially if your doing it for the first time.

    Can I use coconut flour or some healthy flour

    • @SuperEasyRecipes
      @SuperEasyRecipes  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well I'm not sure as I've never tried. But what I would say is that rice flour is very fine and cornstarch is very sticky. Coconut flour, on the other hand, is coarse and not very sticky. So I guess, if you can substitute it, the proportions will be very different. You would probably need a lot more liquid for example. And texture will be different as well I guess. If you decide to give it go, do let me know how you get on🙂

    is corn flour the same as cornstarch?

    • @SuperEasyRecipes
      @SuperEasyRecipes  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There is a slight difference in the way they are made but they can both be used in the same way.

    Peter,why don't you ask someone to teach you how to make Lo pak kou the right way?The ratio of daikon and flour must be at least 5:1 or 6:1.Never soke shitake mushrooms and dry shrimps in hot water.Don't you see the final product is too hard and dry?

    • @SuperEasyRecipes
      @SuperEasyRecipes  3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Alda, interesting: you say lo pak kou and I say lo bak gou! In any case, do you think I would suggest a ratio of 4:1 in my video without considering a ratio of 5:1 first.
      A ratio of 4:1 gives a firmer texture and is easier to handle and more accessible. 5:1 and certainly 6:1 requires far more care and that is not what I want that to achieve. The idea is Super Easy Recipes!

    Ouch. The sibilance in your mic is causing some very painful whistling in my phone. Makes me want to end the video early, no matter how good the content. Perhaps you need to moderate your speech so that you don't make such a harsh sound through your teeth when you pronounce S'es.
