This was 2014 from me. Do not resist it, allow everything to take its place and no, you're not having a 'midlife crisis' or any crisis, you're about to have an awakening. Be excited, great things are coming your way Alina.
@@AlinaMcleod Amazing, look through the "cycles of ascension" google it and look at the symptoms because some people think they're going through a crisis when they're not. It will at least be more at ease :) Enjoy Calgary.
HI Ms Alina! You are a wonderful person! I am 58 years old almost 59, I've been recently looking at travel videos digital no mads etc... by 60 I think travels might just save my sanity! I completely enjoy your travel videos!
Alina, I have watched you for years, and always love every video. Please, please dont burn yourself out. My tips to avaoid burnout are: Be at peace with your family, and enjoy every moment with them. Also, Make peace with God 🙏 spend time in prayer with him. When I do these things, I dont get burned out, but face every day with excitement!

thank you for you honesty. I also solo travel for 18 months now and I can understand and appreciate ur honesty. im staying 3 months in canada as well to reground and refresh.
Not long ago, when I was on the phone with my mum and told her I was beginning to wonder if my life was on the right track and that I wasn't sure of what to do with my life, she gave me some of the best advice I ever got from anyone. She told me if I was spending my time worrying about things like that it meant I was spending too much time focusing on myself and that I needed to shift focus to other people and other things. I thought about it for a while, and realised she was right. So I went and got myself a dog. Having a dog, especially training a puppy, takes loads of time and a strong commitment. It forced me to shift my focus onto another living thing that I am responsible for caring for. Now, Ichinojo (my 11 month old Newfoundland) leaves me with no free time to be self-centred and the sense of pride I feel watching him grow up and the love he brings to my life make me realise that my mum was right all along. Having him also makes me think I can easily handle being a mum to human children as well.
I discovered your channel just a few videos ago so I can't say I know very much about you except that we are fellow Canadians (bonjour du Québec!). From the little I have seen, you come across well-tempered and open-minded. I am just an old lady who can relate to what you are going through, having been through it myself several times in my life. Life changes and sometimes from fear of it, people get stuck longer than they should but change always win. Others decide to make friend with change instead and they learn to flow with it. I believe you fall into the latter category. You are already doing the right things by first heeding to your intuition's call. Those are the best moments to let go, to surrender the past (not denigrate it) and let the flow of Life take you where you need to be to fulfill the highest expression of yourself. In the meantime, it is a time to just be, to fill yourself with nature, good relationships, good books, good habits and do not ponder about the future too much at this point It takes a lot of trust in oneself and in Life to take that step, especially if you are the type who usually is in '"full control", which I believe you are. It is a time to empty the overflowing glass so it may be filled again. And trust me, it will fill again with a nectar even sweeter that you could have even imagined.
Hats off to you, because i know how hard it is to do what you do. I tried to travel vlog in Mexico and got burnt out real quick. You doing it 4 yrs straight us admireable.
Can relate to FOMO when traveling. Looking forward to some soft living content from you. You make such good videos because you are authentic and have a wonderful curious mind, not just because of the travels.
This video spoke to me! It's a good reminder that I need to take care of my self and reconnecting with family and loved ones can be refreshing. I need to do this.
Hi Alina. Le me just say right off the bat that you are a beautiful person inside and out. Your sweetness and beauty shine thru in any of your videos. By chance, I bumped into one of your videos for the first time a couple of days ago, the one about Parque Tyrona in Colombia. Little did I know that you had just gone thru that horrifying experience in Santa Marta. I am really, really sorry and I feel for you. Being from Colombia myself I've known all my life about the risks of visiting certain places. I can also identify with you at another level. I am 74 years old and never met my mother. She died 2 months after I was born. A feeling of loneliness has always been with me and only now I can begin to put my finger on the reason why. I moved to the United States when I was 15 years old and live in south Florida now. Good look and best wishes.
Meeting Indian or international students in Canada who just left all the things back in their homeland just to chase their dream in Canada will definitely help you overcome issues you have.
So glad you had such a great day Alina and thank you got sharing it with us. Mental and physical health is so important to us all. My wife and I do a lot of casual cycling and walking for our mental and physical well being. Enjoy your time back in Canada and take good care of yourself.
That is great to hear. It is so important to take a break. I know that even though doing something like this for a living is an amazing experience, it can also be exhausting. As for me, one of the ways that I deal with this is to engage in slow travel. I tend to stay in any one place for months at a time. (I've been away from my home country for five years.) Actually, I'm hoping to permanently settle down somewhere soon, which will really help as far as travel-related stresses go. I still want to travel then, but it will be so nice to have a stable home base to travel from as opposed to moving every few months. Otherwise, I just try to find that balance between pushing myself and not pushing myself too much. I did experience a mental breakdown from pushing myself so hard for years pursuing a dream job, so I know exactly what can happen if I push myself too much and am so careful to not experience that again.
Yes, totally agree with all of that. I am definitely going to be taking more time in each destination going forward. I've already been a bit slower with things this year compared to my first 2 years of full time travel but it's just not possible to keep that kind of pace full time.
True to yourself. SO SPOT ON!! I am a 65 year old, who gets to look back and confirm no regrets about venturing beyond the prescribed path of the life "planners." And locally, I couldn't have come from much more of a rigid, assumptive, direction for my life. I strongly believe in YOUR instincts and rational introspection. I sense you are lucky enough to have a certain TYPE of intelligence and spirit. My "guess" is that can only be derailed by some kind of internal psychological mechanism. We all battle something. Here is to embracing the worthwhile challenge towards those many precious moments of joy and contentment ...however you choose to do so at different points of your life. Did I just say anything you haven't thought about in some way or another...? I doubt it. But reinforcement is wonderful ...at ANY age. (: Regarding balance and health: My generation didn't generally think as much about a healthy balance as early as you (and some other) millennials do now. You probably NEED to, lol!! Having consciously practiced it from about age 38 myself, however, I can tell you it is paying huge dividends at age 65. My life is so much richer and full of FUTURE promise because of it. Thanks to social media, numerous publicly known, living examples, inspire all of us to this end. THANK YOU Alina!
I have been traveling the world for the last 3 years looking for the perfect place to live. Still searching)) Sitting now on Waikiki beach . . .soon to go back home (sweet home). I know exactly how you feel!
I really enjoy your travel videos. Very professional editing, script, advice, etc.. I have been surprised at how fast and often you produce videos. Yes, working very had allows you to do that. So, as humans, we need some balance of work (even fun work) and down time. Nice to see your home in cool, calm, Canada and getting some well deserved downtime. Take care of yourself, we can see your travel adventures (or what ever) in the months after you are refreshed.
Thank you! Yes, producing as many videos as I do solo has been extremely challenging and I think I do have to come down to just one a week going forward unless I can find a really good editor for a reasonable price.
Enjoy life and live for today ! I try to find a balance in life. You could loose everything tomorrow in regards to your health . As I get older, I look back when I was younger and those years were actually good. Remember, the most valuable commodity is time.
@@AlinaMcleod 100% - I see it more as something to be figured out rather than an obstacle holding me back. Which makes sense considering it's an untraditional lifestyle, but we're setting the path for others to do the same!
At many times during my life, I have had transitional anxiety. I have shifted work contexts multiple times, which always creates internal tension and actual issues you have to respond to. I wish you all the best as you process the challenges you are facing. It does help to have a familiar place to go back to in order to reestablish good habits. Anyway, cheers and enjoy the day.
traveling is not a vacation. Traveling is exhausting. not only the constant organizing and reorienting, but also the many impressions have to be processed. In addition, you are alone and I think that leads to physical stress... I wish you a good recovery time in Canada
Hi Alina - I've been watching your channel for quite some time - even going back to watch prior videos. I just completed a 7 month journey in Southeast Asia (I'm 68 years old traveling solo) - I used your videos to help inform my travels through Bali, Cambodia, Vietnam and South Korea!) I loved your travels with you Dad and can really relate to the video about avoiding the overnight bus to Siem Reap! I came back to my hometown in Alaska a couple of weeks ago. - your posting is spot on - I've been dealing with the same questions after my return. Thank you for the link to aurahealth... I'll check it out!
Alina I found your channel just last month while searching for travel tips to Bali. Im here now eating and staying at all of your wonderful recommendations in Ubud! 🤗 Like you say, we're all here for a different purpose and I can say that one of yours is that because you're genuinely so humble and down to earth aswell as a fabulous communicator you have an incredible ability to educate. I've learnt so much from just the few clips of yours I've watched so far. You captivate peoples attention and present with ease. If the idea of becoming a teacher has ever appealed to you I think you'd be fabulous. 😊 Much love n thanks from Ubud! 🥰
I did my world travel and I sure felt at times "burnout" during my 6 month of full time traveling. It was the best experience to do and from that experience I now have a travel plan by going to 1 country only and for 1 month every year.
Absolutely agree with you said from 9:35-10:24. I personally find your real talk videos beneficial, as it allows me to take a moment to reflect on my own life. Hope you a have wonderful summer filled with inner peace and happiness :)
I'm somebody whose greatest passion has always been travel and living as an expat around the world, I did my degree overseas, came home for a bit during covid, and then lived the digital nomad life for a few years, mostly in Asia. While I loved every second of traveling and living the digital nomad/expat life, it does come with a heavy toll. It's not easy to maintain a 'balanced' life while you're on the road and constantly changing places. Sometimes, you need to have a period of time to stay in one place and focus on other areas of your life. I'm currently back home in the states and going to flight school to become a pilot. I know travel will be in my future again soon, but sometimes you need to take a break from it just for a little while!
That's really awesome, good for you! Yes, the digital nomad life is much more intense than people assume and makes it harder to find the work/life balance in constantly changing environments. Doesn't mean it can't be done, but definitely takes effort to be sustainable.
@@AlinaMcleod absolutely. There is a huge difference between travelling and running a business like you are Alina, and just long term travelling with a slower pace. When you have to make income, it is an entirely different thing - and in many cases worse than being at home because the ease of finding a normal job to reduce financial pressures is just simply not possible without work permits.
@@JayandSarah Yes, it's definitely more challenging when working in new environments all the time. But because I work online and don't spend more than a month or two in each place, I don't need any sort of work permits when being a digital nomad. If I was staying in a place longer than a tourist visa then yes, that would be a different conversation.
@@AlinaMcleod understood for sure Alina! What I was more referencing is people that start travelling thinking they will be able to make money online, only to find out it is not so easy... and are not able to just find some regular work while they are travelling in the countries they are at. Your situation is quite blessed and unique... very few of the people who attempt this, actually make it. Your hard work has paid dividends, well done for you! Love your videos.
@@JayandSarah ah yes, that is 100% an issue and why it's best for people to have a good amount of savings before embarking abroad long term. Thank you for following my channel!
Maybe you don't realize it, but your channel really helps me to see the world out there. And if you think the things you say are trivial, for me they are actually meaningful information.
Thank you for sharing! Saw another video in walters world about the hardships of an expat life. From what I see based on your attitude and perspective- I have no doubt that you will succeed in life!
Hello Alina, haven't seen you in months. All of 2023 to be exact. Say you are have an issue with depression. Sorry to hear. Get well lady. Man. I can't travel like you. Lol when you feel better ,no hurry. Get back in the saddle. Take care from Dayton, Ohio
Hi Alina, I understand that transitioning back from your journey as a world traveling digital nomad can be challenging. Take time to rest and recharge, reflecting on the incredible experiences and personal growth you gained during your travels. Explore new interests and hobbies, seek support and connection from friends and family, and embrace new opportunities and relationships that come your way. Remember to practice gratitude and mindfulness, focusing on the present moment and the beauty each day brings. Stay open-minded, and I'm confident you'll find your path to happiness and fulfillment. Cheers and keep smiling!
U r hands down one of the coolest Chica I've ever had the privilege to know. Still so disappointed in myself that u came to Montreal and I found out too late!. Our lunch date would have been an experience!!
Your a trooper! I have always gotten my thrills from starting my own business, get married, have a family and have them to enjoy my adventures with. I have no desire to share my life with strangers. Be safe!
Bandeja paisa, one of my all-time favorite dishes, yum. Cool that you're in Calgary. I've only seen it from the bus on my way to Jasper when I worked up there. I'm thinking about heading up there again later this summer, if you're still around maybe we can meet up.
Yes, you definitely gotta check out Calgary sometime! Would love to meet up, but am only here until the end of the month and kind of in and out for weeklong trip to BC and then SK, but let me know if you are coming in that time and maybe we could make it happen. From August onwards I'll be in Toronto if you're going out that way as well!
I have been a regular traveller for 40 years. I beleive the unsettled feelings you mention are from within. If you commit to regular daily meditation they will stop. I speak from experience. 😀
I must be psychic, as I asked you about your "down time" in your last (?) video. I don't have any great advice, but I will say that I watch your videos for you as much as for the interesting travel, so whatever you choose to do, a video every week or two will always have me as a viewer.
Hope this message finds you well Alina. I think that when you're constantly running full tilt , whether it's travel , job or family. You get that sense of burnout. Doing too much for too long catches up with you. Allow yourself the time to Rest, Relax and Recharge . You deserve it to yourself. We love you Dearly ❤❤ Alina, and we want you to be happy. Alina, wonderful video. You have been honest with yourself and this is good. I am sure you may take a break for now and recharge, but soon you will be back on the road. Wish you good luck, and take care of yourself.
Alina, as someone in Canada who also traveled a lot and lived in other countries, the withdrawal symptoms upon arriving in Canada can be quite harsh - it's common, especially coming from some really exciting places which have much to offer. Anyway just make sure to stay active every day, keep in touch with good friends, especially with warm heart, hug them often and I think you'll be fine, stay on track to something better in your life.
hi, i started thinking the same right now. iam turning 36 on 10th august 2023. for example, i was never thinking about marriage and settling down, but this thought is coming up alot in my life now. we are in continuous change of thoughts and habits. age changes every thing.
It is quite obvious & natural too that at some stage of your life you come across these things like feeling sad or a lack of confidence, especially after a big milestone accomplishment , feeling bored, loss of meaning or purpose in life, feeling unfulfilled, feelings of nostalgia, excessively thinking about the past, making impulse actions, feelings of regret. But as I have been closely following you through your vlogs, I strongly feel that you would surely over come your anxiety & so called midlife crisis thing.
Thank you very much! Yes, it is true that sometimes after you cross a big milestone you almost don't know what to do with yourself. Doing what I'm doing now has been a dream and now that I've accomplished it I'm looking for the next things lol.
@@AlinaMcleod The hardship which you had gone through in your personal life when you were just a 5 year old kid & then to groom yourself and achieve greater success is commendable and you are a source of inspiration for many. I have one question for you, why didn't you explore India yet where actually the civilisation had started . Any apprehensions or negative inputs about India restricted you to come over here.
Hi Alina, I always appreciate your videos. I can 100% relate to what you are going through. Two things that helped me move through this was a) an "attitude of gratitude", naming 3 different things every morning that I am grateful for, and b) exploring the power of the subconscious mind. It gave me a place to start and I felt anchored again. I also do not prescribe to the "cookie-cutter" life 🙃
Hi Alina, I understand where you are coming from. Even doing what you love passionately can drain you. Take the necessary breaks and let life take its course. Loving your travel videos and the more laid back videos of life in Canada 🙏 keep this up 🙏
I’ve been there with burnout too ❤ rituals and habits are so vital for my own nourishment and I hope they can nurture you too. Love your videos so so so so much xoxo
Yes, take a break and slow down to prevent burn out. I think you've toured half the world in the past year or so with remarkable photography and observations. And, you're no way near old enough to have a mid-life crisis! Onward and upward! :)
I try to remember if you dwell on the past you will be depressed, worry about the future, you will have anxiety, so live in the moment. Life is about experiance, good and bad. Thank you for sharing how you feel, I enjoyed this video. I hope you figuare it all out, follow your heart.
Exactly. It's the question of, what is the purpose of all this? .. Some find it in friends, others in religion, who knows - for everyone it is different.
Hello Alina, thank You for sharing Your thoughts! I am also a person who goes 120% in for things I do. I cannot do things at half of my potential. In German it would be „keine halben Sachen machen“ . In the past, before pandemic, traveling from time to time and related experiences energized me. Taking photos in the summer during blue hour also relaxes me. Energize yourself! Try to „absorb“ as much of the summer as possible. 💙💛 Best regards Ralf
I am trying to prepare for the day that you retire. I may end up needing therapy to help me get through the loss lol. But for real. I have become accustomed to having an option of being able to tune into you and your beautiful smile over the past several years. I starting thinking about this and found myself having a full blown anxiety attack. It's going to suck for sure... I must add that I definitely have no intention of ever ghosting or disconnecting but the mind can be a big place at times.
Well, I wasn’t going to comment but I guess I will. When I’m feeling down, anxiety or annoying, I always think, what is the worst thing that could happen to me, the worst. Then I compare it to what is getting me down in the moment, like your “now” tat. Then I have that epiphany, it’s not so bad. And this is coming from someone 63 years old who has survived cancer 4 times, been in ICU 5 days for a motorcycle crash and lived through a 30 year marriage and divorce with a manic depressive spouse. So I kinda know what I’m talking about. Count your blessings, you are extremely lucky to be young, healthy and have a support system. Live every day like it’s a blessing to be alive.😊
Sorry you had to go through all that, but good for you for making it through! Yes, I totally agree with needing that mindset in a while, definitely puts 'problems' into perspective and really gives you confidence that it's really not that bad and can be better in the future.
I think I understand perfectly what you've been feeling these recent days. I also lived abroad for some time, and there were moments I just felt I had to return home and be with my parents and old friends. We need that coziness some times. We need to recharge our mind batteries. We need to slow down, look inside ourselves and reflect about what is going on. You have wonderful parents. One day they will not be around any more. Enjoy their company while you can. The memories of these moments spent with them will fill your heart with contentment and be a sort of fuel to your soul and encoragement to the rest of your life. Keep that way. You are on the right track.
Thanks for sharing your personal life with us and thanks for all the great videos of your travels. But now maybe the time to stop and recharge for awhile and it’s also go to get know family again. Maybe in the future you could make videos of local places or do smaller trips with family members and friends.
In recent time I find helpful to write down my own honest thoughts about myself. It's some kind of self-therapy. Thank you for your videos😊. And keep being your own kind of beauty
Lovely video, Alina. Thanks for keeping it real. Thank you for also showing a part of Calgary that I had never heard of, even though I've been through the city dozens of times. Maybe next time I'm there I'll do a little exploring, with your inspiration.
I am brand new in your channel, I myself was born and currently again live in Colombia ever since I came back from a long stay of 25 years in US. I dont know Alina, you are so beautiful and young, why are you having a midlife crisis, I had the same but I was 55 at the time. Today five years later I realize life is too short to hussle or worry for things that are not even worthy of. Love your videos and your way. My best wishes to you blonde, rgs ❤
I think traveling is a very healthy lifestyle. I walk a lot when I travel. I understand that after all this traveling you are happy to settle down for a while.
Hi Alina, well you ask, here it is....😊 since I moved, because I married a Maori, native New Zealander, to New Zealand, I feel lost and can't find myself. Since 2022 I'm divorce, praise God, he was so abusive and it started here. My son and I wanted to return to Canada in 2020, but Covid19. Then we thought to return in 2023, so I listen to the Canada news and hear about the housing crises, the homeless crises, and the health care crises. This all is very discouraging, because we have no family in Canada and friends have died or moved on. We have been in New Zealand since 2005, but never settled, still crying every Canada Day. I have developed heart palpitations due to the anxiety from all this. So when I'm stressing out, I watch a relaxing movie or watch travel TH-cam channels, like yours. I am in a midlife crises since I moved here, at least that what I reckon. Next attempt to move back to Canada is September 2024. But this said, we don't know where we want to settle. Many TH-cam channels that I watched are confusing, since the person is showing only the good from a province or city. Then I watch the News and I'm shocked and again back where I started.
Oh did I mentioned that we are Canadians and original from Windsor Ontario. So tell me, do you have any advice for me? Maybe I have given you an idea on what kind of context be actually helpful for people who want to return to Canada but hear conflicting News.
Sorry to hear you're going through that. I mean I haven't spent long enough in Canada lately to give you a super clear picture but for sure prices for everything have gone up a lot and there's much more poverty and drug use. Of course there's lots of positives about Canada but those negatives are definitely more prominent.
I found living back and forth Bulgaria and UK and all over UK freelancing I generally aimed for a 6 month base , sometimes longer sometimes shorter so kept things fresh but kind of stable. And my place in Bulgaria became my permanent base, and as you know Alina you can reach around 12 countries from BG easily in a day so lots of travel choices.
Maybe it is time for a break, but not too long mind you! Possibly if you spend some time in the same place, that traveling bug will start biting again. Maybe you might find a travel buddy, it may motivate you again, having someone to show the world to, or to bring new ideas of places to see. Otherwise, we are more than happy to see your videos of Dad's farm, videos of Mom, or whatever you are doing in Canada.
Hey Alina, catch some outdoor concerts out there in Calgary, with such a late sunset hour! Doesn't matter what kind of music, go alone if you dare or go with your Mom or with your friends!
Hoi, Alina, it seems I know how it feels like. Well done really personal work. You can try to do something else, but sooner or later you know that something is missing and you will be back on track. Take care, always and stay safe. Greetings, Markus
It takes courage to share your life to the rest of the world via YT and recognize what is not going right (or what appears not to be going right) in one's life. The first small steps leading to the path of enlightenment is what I just mentioned in the beginning of this comment: Courage and recognition, sometimes not necessarily followed by a plan though it's ideal to have one. A week or two, a month or two, even a year later, you'll realize then you're now over this hump and there are new challenges ahead that require the same steps that got you over the prior hurdle. Midlife crisis is no different than any other crisis :)
Alina, learn about the Buddhist technique how to let things go out of your life with ease. Quite often we are attached to things or people, or crave for somethings, with no good reason.

I'm 51, have travelled to 133 countries, lived in 15 and I'm finally burnt out.over 30 years of non stop travel has taken its toll on me.
That's lovely! Glad it was what you were looking for.
And trust me, it will fill again with a nectar even sweeter that you could have even imagined.
haha I completely identify your comment and feel that advice is exactly what I need right now. Thank you!
Hats off to you, because i know how hard it is to do what you do. I tried to travel vlog in Mexico and got burnt out real quick. You doing it 4 yrs straight us admireable.
Aw thank you very much, David! Hope you're doing great!
Thanks!
Thank you so much, Martin!
Can relate to FOMO when traveling. Looking forward to some soft living content from you. You make such good videos because you are authentic and have a wonderful curious mind, not just because of the travels.
Aw I appreciate that, thank you!
You have got it before it turned into a crisis. Doing the right things getting the balance. You’ve got it sussed before it was too late. Well done.
Whatever you decide to do going forward, I have really enjoyed following your travels. Please know that your work has been appreciated by lots of us.
Thank you and I'm so glad!
A friend accepts us as we are,
Yet helps us to Be
What we should.
Good Morning Beautiful🎴
This video spoke to me! It's a good reminder that I need to take care of my self and reconnecting with family and loved ones can be refreshing. I need to do this.
I’m very glad!
Don’t worry, be happy
Hi Alina. Take care of yourself, recharge your "batteries" and enjoy your family time. Traveling can be gruelling. Thanks for sharing the video.
Wow you've monetized your mid life crisis! I am impressed!
Gotta make it profitable at the very least
Just relax and enjoy the beautiful summer time in Canada, you will get fully recharged for the next chapter, Alina!
So glad you had such a great day Alina and thank you got sharing it with us. Mental and physical health is so important to us all. My wife and I do a lot of casual cycling and walking for our mental and physical well being. Enjoy your time back in Canada and take good care of yourself.
Cycling is definitely a great hobby to have. Thank you!
@@AlinaMcleod Thank you Alina and it sure is good. We average a little over 100 miles a month doing the bike trails.
I've already been a bit slower with things this year compared to my first 2 years of full time travel but it's just not possible to keep that kind of pace full time.
thanks alina for sharing and showing us calgary and the other beautiful places
You're very beautiful Alina... there is no reason to be depressed... enjoy and live your life to the fullest...🥂
Regarding balance and health: My generation didn't generally think as much about a healthy balance as early as you (and some other) millennials do now.
THANK YOU Alina!
haha you are definitely spot on! Glad there are others brave enough to go against the grain!
The hardest part about the long term travel may be the loneliness. It gets to you after a while.
Just like the jet setting life of a flight attendant.
I have been traveling the world for the last 3 years looking for the perfect place to live. Still searching)) Sitting now on Waikiki beach . . .soon to go back home (sweet home). I know exactly how you feel!
@@johnpatterson1470 Bro look no further than Costa Rica. Have you been?
I can relate
I totally relate to this! It can be so hard to be independent and also honor the need for community and stability
Absolutely. Thankfully with the right people around I think it can be done!
Thank you very much!
traveling is not a vacation. Traveling is exhausting. not only the constant organizing and reorienting, but also the many impressions have to be processed. In addition, you are alone and I think that leads to physical stress... I wish you a good recovery time in Canada
Yes, 'traveling full time is not a vacation' is absolutely right.
BUT if you stop trying to do everything and start doing something you love, you'll be happier. It's NOT quantity, IT'S QUALITY
Aw thank you so much and glad the videos were useful! Hope you enjoy Aurahealth!
Aw I'm so happy to hear that! Thank you and happy travels!
Hi Alina thank you for your personal opion
I did my world travel and I sure felt at times "burnout" during my 6 month of full time traveling. It was the best experience to do and from that experience I now have a travel plan by going to 1 country only and for 1 month every year.
Life crisis comes at 20-25 yr increments generally. You are perfectly on track! ☀️
Absolutely agree with you said from 9:35-10:24. I personally find your real talk videos beneficial, as it allows me to take a moment to reflect on my own life. Hope you a have wonderful summer filled with inner peace and happiness :)
I'm very glad :) Thank you so much and likewise!
Aw thank you so much ❤️
Thank you for sharing! Saw another video in walters world about the hardships of an expat life. From what I see based on your attitude and perspective- I have no doubt that you will succeed in life!
Aw thank you very much!
Been awhile since I have seen you. Good to see you
Hi Alina, I understand that transitioning back from your journey as a world traveling digital nomad can be challenging.
Very good advice!
Beautiful walk around Calgary! 😍 Welcome back!
Be safe!
That's awesome and thank you very much!
I see, right on, good to know. 👍👍
You have a great life dear Alina. Just follow what your passion is - There will always be a light at the end of the tunnel.
Very true, thank you!
Thank you very much!
Both Harriet and I have been through similar situations. Reconnect with all your senses. Breathe ! Namaste 🙏🙏 Harriet, Jim and Yuki sending you much love from Richmond, Va. ❤❤
Very true. Thanks so much guys and hope you're doing well!
Love this! And you my friend! I always have the best time catching up with you.💕
Thank you so much! Great seeing you as well!
Just want to pay tribute to you and your family ! For your presentation s ! Please enjoy this moment in time where your at ! Always a friend !
Recognising some of the beautiful places in Calgary where I was walking while visiting my sister few years ago. Hoping to see you, even just for a few seconds, passing by, on my next visit! :*
Very good advice and yes, definitely experienced the withdrawal numerous times lol.
hi,
i started thinking the same right now.
iam turning 36 on 10th august 2023.
for example, i was never thinking about marriage and settling down, but this thought is coming up alot in my life now.
we are in continuous change of thoughts and habits.
age changes every thing.
I also do not prescribe to the "cookie-cutter" life 🙃
Yes, very good suggestions. Thank you!
Hi Alina, I understand where you are coming from. Even doing what you love passionately can drain you. Take the necessary breaks and let life take its course. Loving your travel videos and the more laid back videos of life in Canada 🙏 keep this up 🙏
Thank you very much!
Wish you a quality recharge during this period of recovery for your total being. Awesome colombian arepa con todo!
Fair enough!
I try to remember if you dwell on the past you will be depressed, worry about the future, you will have anxiety, so live in the moment. Life is about experiance, good and bad. Thank you for sharing how you feel, I enjoyed this video. I hope you figuare it all out, follow your heart.
Yes, that is very true!
I like how Calgary, and Canada (and USA) in general, is designed taking into account people could do recreational activities as well.
Alina, This is just a normal human psychology. Just do whatever you like, love and enjoy.
Exactly. It's the question of, what is the purpose of all this? .. Some find it in friends, others in religion, who knows - for everyone it is different.
Hello Alina,
thank You for sharing Your thoughts!
💙💛
Best regards Ralf
Hi Alina! Always be kind to yourself. Finding the right work/life balance is critical.
Thank you very much!
I have seen some of your videos and have enjoyed them (I was visiting Japan while you were there). Best wishes, in finding your direction.
Thank you!
Always enjoy your videos
Glad you were able to endure all, double thumbs for you Alina!
I'm older but this sounds like how I feel at different times. Thanks for sharing.
Good morning ma'am I'm happy to see you good health and safe God Bless yuo all ways ❤️❤❤
Thanks for sharing your personal life with us and thanks for all the great videos of your travels. But now maybe the time to stop and recharge for awhile and it’s also go to get know family again. Maybe in the future you could make videos of local places or do smaller trips with family members and friends.
Thanks! Will definitely be sharing some local videos around Canada for the next few months :)
In recent time I find helpful to write down my own honest thoughts about myself. It's some kind of self-therapy. Thank you for your videos😊. And keep being your own kind of beauty
Very good idea. Thank you!
You are very talented, pleasant, and successful! I am confident you will sort things out for yourself. Your mum seems to offer wise counsel.
Lovely video, Alina. Thanks for keeping it real. Thank you for also showing a part of Calgary that I had never heard of, even though I've been through the city dozens of times. Maybe next time I'm there I'll do a little exploring, with your inspiration.
My pleasure!
Love that!
Life balance very Important.
🎉 I do agree 👍
I think traveling is a very healthy lifestyle. I walk a lot when I travel. I understand that after all this traveling you are happy to settle down for a while.
Everyone needs a break once in awhile.. Chill take your time... 👍
I didn't expect there was a Colombian restaurant. Awesome 👌 Hope you had a fantastic day.
Hope you are doing much better not. Take care yourself. Lots of love dear Alina from Montreal
That's awesome, Bulgaria is a lovely country!
Thanks Alina well some local day vlogs would be nice with out the airplane hassle..
Yeah I don't think I'll be stopping adventuring any time soon, will just be adjusting the way and frequency that I do it. Thank you!
Very true. Thank you very much!
Alina, learn about the Buddhist technique how to let things go out of your life with ease. Quite often we are attached to things or people, or crave for somethings, with no good reason.
Great video,
There are a couple of Colombian restaurants in Toronto
Cheers
Will have to check them out!
