Some of the fondest memories I have of growing up were the times my Mom used to take me to the library very week or so. I must have been maybe 6 or 7 years old when she started taking me regularly and I vividly remember all the fun I had filling my bag with books. So each time I hear someone praising the library, my heart soars ❤ I used to watch Doctor Who regularly and Matt Smith was my favourite. Great series that I’d love to rewatch one day from the very beginning.
@@VanessaButtino Thanks for sharing your memories of going to the library, love it. I’ve always loved the library because it’s quiet and I can discover new books and now movies (our library has a great selection of films and TV shows now). I am interested in starting to watch more Doctor Who also.
Wow, looks like you got a lot of cool stuff for cheap. That's strange they aren't accepting VHS any more since they actually started making them again. I've never been to a library sale but it sounds like fun.
Yes, definitely wasn't expecting to see much physical media at this book sale but was pleasantly surprised. Disappointing that they discontinued selling VHS tapes at the sale. I have a small VHS/Laserdisc collection and would be fun to collect a few more.
We just also had our librarys fall sale and i went twice - first time i got 23 dvds and blus for $46 and in that got 2 warner archive blus! Then the last day you could fill a box for $20 and pulled out 87 dvds.... what a great way to grow your media collection... But i wasn't lucky like you and got those nice Dr. Who sets
@@lostnthenoise Wow, that’s great. It is definitely a good (and relatively inexpensive) way to add to your media collection. I love Warner Archive, hope you picked up some good films.
That Star Trek comic book looks really cool! I thought it was a novel at first since there's a bunch of those. I don't think I've seen any Trek comics though
I just went to my local library sale (well, technically the town over, which organizes their wares better). I had very little cash, so I just got 2 blu rays, but sometimes I spend over $20. Like you guys, I also donate to them.
@@joshua2814 On the final day of the book sale here, they allow you to fill a whole bag of books/movies for $2. I love supporting libraries as much as I can.

Nice selection of pickups for damn good price.

Yes, very cool and I'm looking forward to reading it. One of the best finds at any of the book sales here.
