Wow! Oh Wow! I am going to play this and slow dance with my husband in the kitchen! Thank you! I have never heard of these artists. Man, so cool. Wonderful pick and reaction!
Someday, many years from now, Jimmy Barnes will meet up with Ray Charles and Louis Armstrong, when they are all in that heavenly place, and play music together. All the angels will weep for joy.
Had to come back for a second watch....lol. Jimmy, our Scottish-Australian boss of rock n roll never fails to impress. So much soul in his voice and Joe... well he just speaks for himself.
Man love this song and performance what’s a duet, joe and jimmy. So much soul it’s got that blues feel about it. Jimmy still belting it out and killing it at an older age, he’s like a fine wine
Has anyone told you that you look like James Earl Jones? When I was watching your reaction to this wonderful piece of music, all I could think was that James Earl Jones is now doing TH-cam song reactions! 🤣🤣 Loved your reaction btw... the way you could feel the music was so good to see!
I swear that if I had a camera on me the first time I heard this version, I'm certain my facial expressions would've matched yours perfectly. It immediately jumped to the Top-10 of my favorite Blues/Rock songs EVER! Absolutely love it! There's another song that I've recently discovered that's on the same scale. It's called "I'll Play The Blues For You" by Daniel Castro. EPIC!!!
Thank you so much for doing this particular version of Jimmy's song. I heard it a. year or so ago and continue to go back and listen to it multiple times. Joe plays and Jimmy sings with such passion and feeling that it's almost unbelievable! These two men are my heroes!!! As soon as I saw the title I knew that you couldn't help but love it.
I’m extremely lucky to get tickets to see Joe at the Borgata Hotel and Casino on March 18. Hopefully, Jimmy or Beth will make an appearance but I’ll be very content with just seeing Joe work his magic.
Go back. Any Aussie Pub Rock from the 70s and 80s is worth exploring. Cold Chisel (Jimmy Barnes's original band, and, incidentally, catch up with him doing a duet with Tina Turner doing "Simply the Best"), Midnight Oil, Icehouse, Splitz Enz [and then Crowded House], ACDC, Hoodoo Gurus... it goes on and on. Rabbit holes by the hundred to go down.
@@DramaSydETV Jimmys whole family are crazy tallened, took my 77yo mother to see Jimmy 3 Weeks ago, 30 year annaversary of his Soul Deep album, you should check out his Daughter Mahalia, and son David Campbell, both amazing singers
Absolutely. I grew up with Deep Purple and loved them then. Lazy by Joe, Jim and the other hand picked musical magicians is a feast for the ears. Definitely recommend this.

That was just fantastic. You always know what you’re gonna get from Joe B, but Jimmy, he is amazing. Great pick from whoever recommended this. 🔥
