- Our cinderella power wheels go kart gets front suspension and steering! On today's episode of CarsandCameras, project princess, our twin engine go kart power wheels build gets simple yet effective front suspension and quick ratio steering for good handling around our off road race track. Getting a 6 foot adult to fit in this go kart has been our biggest challenge so far, but we're making good progress!

Please put in some security systems, cc television, better locks etc. Get those tools into the big garage. You got lucky this time it wasn't a complete wipe out of the place. Do not take it for granted and step up the security game. Here's a little something to help out Charles. If he's anything like I think he is, this is nothing but a tiny pebble in the road of life and he will keep on go karting.
I agree with this 1000%. Being a YTer and with what they do and showing all the stuff they have acquired over the years on camera, not to bash the guys or anything but I'm actually kind of surprised there isn't more security there. Not only for the business but also just to protect your property/land. I'm sure they will have CCTV and mission impossible lasers on everytime they even just go home for the day lol.. but in all seriousness Charles is about to get tool collection UPGRADE!!! In June 2021 a person stole a CT70 from John's house. It was caught on security camera.

Crazy someone had the ballz to steal from you guys..Just make sure all your videos you put out blank out all license plates on your vehicles. People will find you that way....Hope you catch the sucker..

I'd put cameras and alarm too but keep in mind that these thugs go about masked now and alarms and cameras don't stop thieves. Is a deterrent, not a total fix. No easy solutions and the feeling of being robbed stays with you for a long time. Ask me how I know.

My ex fiancé sold my Snap-on tools years ago I reported it to the police and she never got charged I had to sue her which was also a joke and I still haven't seen a dime! $26,000 I'm out that's not including all the vehicles of mine she had her neighbor who was a scraper crush! And all my antiques I inherited from my grandmother. So that added in over $300,000!
Here is a call for Snap on, Matco or any of the other myriad of tool makers to help this guy out. It is simple: with a million subscribers to C&C, we, their subscribers, should send some love to these tool makers. We should let them know nicely that a stand up, young father deserves a hand up. Talk about a GREAT marketing opportunity for them.

I've been wrenching for 34 years. I understand how expensive tools are and what they mean to your profession. You know the thieves will be back - I'd invest in at least a trail camera for the time being. Also, one of the popular "red" brands now has tools that have tracking built in. Might be worth looking into!

absolutely, they saw what they could grab really fast, but they now know theres a lot of stuff there. so i'd reinforce everything and get some cameras in quick!
They will absolutely be back. I used to hang out with career thieves in my younger days. They'll see what they got from the small shop and imagine the best stuff is probably in the big shop.

Man this sucks. It happened to my dad many years ago and he lost everything, stuff his dad made for working on old vw bugs that you can't get anywhere. It's truly heart breaking seeing a positive person like Charles working hard for his craft to have someone who think it's OK to cut 2 locks and steal someone's lively hood. So sorry about the break in.
You need to do an interior cage that hinges forward at the split line of the carriage and takes the top with it. It'll hide the cage and make it easier to get in and out.

A cool idea would be to make an exoskeleton roll bar for it and to make the whole front assembly move with suspension attached straight to the frame with hinges in the front half of the car, would be hard but cool idea

I feel that, remember this time next year, is when cooperation's make cuts and hiring should swing back in January. In the mean time, some gov jobs like substitute teacher might hold over but its doubtfully full time so health benefits arent likely to be given.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss guys! Charles, I know exactly how you feel! I am a self-made business owner. I'm now a retired machinist. I was nearing my planned retirement. I decided to retire earlier than I intended. This was after almost 60K worth of tools and equipment were stolen from me back in 2010. It still breaks my heart knowing what I lost. Yeah, some of my tools were passed down from my father and grandfather. Charles, I wish I could give you a hug brother. I will do a little shopping from the Cars and Cameras store. Take care!
