"The perfect combination of work and play"-- seems true! The barge work is interesting and you must love all that space aboard. Two spare bedrooms, wow. Charlie is the champ of cute.

Hahaha I would tend to agree that Charlie is the champ of cute. The space is good and the people that I have the pleasure of working with make it, they are all very family oriented which makes it perfect for us.

Thank you for taking us on this journey and letting us know how you support yourselves while sailing your vessel. It is totally awesome that you're able to take your family with you on the barge while working, really did not think that that would be an option. I just love Charlie such a sweet little girl with a wonderful bubbly personality. Safe travels and all you do May God continue to bless you with many happy healthy and prosperous years to come God bless stay safe

I agree with you wholeheartedly, my friend. All you need is one day where the weather is perfect and it will sustain you through 3 weeks of terrible weather.

Yes, nowadays, it's mostly trades, especially on Fridays. We still get a fee staff come across on the barge though.

I was up there in the 1970's on a work boat. The channel into Hamilton was a cut through the mud flat too narrow to turn in except at the pontoon.

Wow that would have been super interesting, I have herd some of the stories and it was a different time back then hey.

Least u don't have to dry-dock & service the bum on that thing (or fill the tanks). How all that is done would be an interesting vid topic, Vs yours, incl preventative maint for steel hull, schedule.
The history on that service would also be interesting. I.e. did Williams establish it himself, or convince a contractor it was fea$ible. Many also wouldn't know his/Island story, incl seaworld.

A it of the history on Hamilton island would make a super interesting episode, but unfortunately, we can't do something like that without approval. There is a preventative maintenance schedule on the barges and as an employee it is great because they take really good care of them. I may do an engine room tour of something to give a bit of prospective.
