Found a very good Harvard 402 and in great condition spot on freq in the deal with a new mike. New power lead new mounting bracket and thumb screws all in £40 very happy been looking to get a good one took 4 years but its mine and no sales
I had a few NOS Mk2 148’s too but sold them both a good few years ago for daft offers that i couldn’t say no too. One went to the states and the other over here somewhere. Thanks for watching anyway Andy👍
Superstar 360 had the same pcb as 148 cobra, but the 360 was a better finished rig, you can do a hell of a lot with them!.. I've converted many over to ham bands with great success.
Nice video. Waving from my tech bench. 73👋🏻
It looks like i am going to have to sort a bench setup out just for my own hoard…Thanks for viewing Buddy👍
@@gtretroworld I get that, the more we dive into a hobby the more need for space, especially shelving and so forth. Keep up the awesome channel.

That is what it is all about finding the right item that makes you happy.
Got a Superstar 3600 with a 879 PCB in it..
I vaguely remember the 3600 but wasn’t aware they had a PC897 board…Thanks for viewing the video👍
If it was me I'd put it back to factory and launch that extra board in the green/black thing with wheels on it 🙂
I am thinking the same buddy..Im guessing you’re talking about the black electrical tape to keep the good old UV out.😂
nice pic of your dads band back in the day
That was the Rock band Chateau. They actually went on to do quite well from what i remember.
@@gtretroworld yeah remember he had some song issues with them using his songs
Got one but does not work properly , wish i knew how to fix them , the folk that can are few and old , if you have one please look after it.
I am sure there will be someone in your locality that could have a look at it for you.
Out of interest what is the problem?
Nice, but I never really liked the Mk1. The Mk2 was good though even if I still prefer the PC-999 Grant for sheer performance.
I was never a big fan of the Mk1 too but left alone with just a little alignment they performed really well.
Nice Radio !! I own the mk2 version mint in the box & Still a Virgin👌👌

@@scottlow2272 No idea what it is with but it could do with airing out as it’s been a while.

I had a few very nice boxed 360’s several years ago.A lot of folk dismissed them and went for the normally well trodden 148.
Oh I forget to mention, check out my earlier vlog with a 360 that has been to the moon and back.
Could be a mic issue
I tried another buddy,it is a internal issue and one in the jobs that need doing pile.
If you mean nick Black spirit yes he is...
I certainly was Buddy…interesting to know.Thanks👍
Cobra man has gone and missed by 1000s
@@stephengunrunnerhanson3550 Really?
strange my multi meter has died also its a pain
I went to buy another one but the cost of something similar is ridiculous so it is in bits as we speak.
