Absolutely nothing wrong with what you are doing! I drove over 30yrs for different companies, plus independent lease. The times I did Auto dealerships was all night deliveries in the Northern Mountain States of New England. And I many times was in the boonies with nothing open and had to do the same as you two! It's called being resourceful for the job you're doing and the situation you're in! I found myself in the woods plenty of times, having to crap where the Moose and Bears did it. And a lot of personal cleaning for hygiene was was done in cold mountain rivers, streams, and lakes, spring, summer, fall, and winter! After sleeping for 8 hrs parked in a boonies small town shopping center and waking at 1 - 3am, you don't just get out of truck and pee or crap in the middle of the parking lot? So it's in a bottle for #1, and in a bag for #2 ! Then dispose of it properly when you do eventually meet up with a normal truck stop! All you criticizers of this type of thing, must be Point A to Point B drivers!! The terminal points your truck in the direction it has to go! And when you get to Point B you need someone to back it in for you, and then point it in the next direction you're headed to? You spend most of your time at truck stops eating, and pissing/moaning about what you do. If you ever had to go off the beaten path and actually do some work, you'd probably die from not being able to survive without the proper amenities! As one dumb ass commented, saying it's not an RV? Well I beg to differ, because in a way it is a working RV! It's a rolling office workstation when working, and basically a living area when resting! So if you can live in it, then that requires all the aspects that come in life! And if properly maintained and cleaned inside, then there should be no problem, just like in a fully setup RV itself. So Lovin Truckin, you two are alright doing what you do, and you probably get more loads and miles, then those cry babies that depend on the truck stops for EVERYTHING!
Ian Anderson I loved cussing at customers and flipping them the bird when they told me I'm not allowed to use their employee restroom,I was never disciplined by my employer,c.r.s.t..got away with it every time!
Ian Anderson fuck h.d. supply and any other company in the u.s. that view a commercial truckdriver as a subhuman..shit and piss on their office steps.!
Ian Anderson , more power to you and all the truck drivers out there. I been driving trucks since I got out of the military that was 9 years ago. Yes when it comes to pee and crapping I too have to do inside the truck inside the bag. Once done I will find some empty dirt area and bury the bag. I don’t throw out onto the parking lot or in open. It’s disgusting and another reason I can’t stand is those lazy ass drivers or litter bugs throws their trash out on to the freeway or parking lots. That’s why Walmart doesn’t allow trucks to park there because we don’t know how to appreciate things.
For all of you who say these people are gross, you really need a reality check. Do you enjoy being able to go to the store with the guarantee (majority of the time) that what you need is going to be there sitting on the shelf? You have truck drivers to thank for that luxury. Truckers go through a lot of shit ensuring that we have the luxury of having all of life's necessities and toys available at all times, only to be treated like dirt by other drivers on the road and bitched at for cleaning up in a public bathroom. Thank you truckers!!! You do a job that deserves more appreciation :)
as a person who is big into camping I can recommend a great addition to the bucket toilet, can be hard to find at times but you can get a plastic camping toilet seat that is designed to rest on the rim of a standard 5 gallon bucket
They are with eachother, making that money, not letting "shit" get in their way, literally!😁 I Love It!😊 This is how you KEEP IT MOVING! America would be GREAT AGAIN if more couples really knew how to survive together💑 Keep up the good work👍👌 I'm Jealous in a good way🙄

First video I seen from you 2.. you both are loving caring and just super awesome!!! Keep at it, share the love and knowledge, and may God continue to smile upon you both and bless you!!! Many adventures to come!!!
very well done and informative video. i recently retire from driving for 36 years and now my son and nephew are a team they are the ones that showed me your videos. keep up the great work.
I think that every new driver should watch this video. You are so right in that some of the more private things on this video are first, unavoidable at one point or another. As you said, first and foremost, anyone would rather use proper facilities. Sometimes it is just not possible. Second... A lot of truck drivers are either made to feel like this is wrong, or disgusting by other overly critical drivers (who in an honest moment would admit to having to do the same a time or two.) Or just plain old fashioned ignorance. Because it is rarely if ever talked about most are embarrassed and/or disgusted with themselves by it. Most experienced drivers know that your psychological well-being in a truck is as important as how rested and alert you are. If you are feeling or are being made to feel like you are just lazy or guilty of sloth, it can make your experience in the truck so much less enjoyable at the least. At worst, it can actually cripple your ability to love your job. Thank you for this video. Be safe out there. To some of the new drivers out there seeing this video, and maybe stumbling across this comment... here their advice. First it is illegal to 1 or 2 anywhere outdoors in a public place such as pickle parks, and choke-n-pukes. Second nobody is going to enjoy seeing a new place if, as soon as they step out of the truck all they smell is rotten urine or worse. Please, if you have to do it, make sure it can be desposed of in a way that is sanitary to yourself and others.
Thanks, I haven't been Over The Road as a CDL Class A driver in a big rig for maybe 8 years. I am 61 and recently unemployed from a B Class trucking job. I always said I would never go back to Over The Road because of the unsanitary and unhealthy lifestyle. There wasn't very much communication back then to help a guy cope with the sicknesses of the road. I remember Pink Eye so bad my eyes were almost glued shut as I crossed several states, and pneumonia with fever so bad I sweated my bunk soaked several times and never got to sleep. Since then I have gotten into Nutritional Health and healing and never get sick. My only health issue is two compressed disk at C5 and C6 and restricts my lifting ability. If I could get a trucking job with no touch freight I may have a chance of making a go at trucking again. Videos like this one will help with staying healthy on the road. I have applied for Disability for the compressed disk but that may take 5 months before I know if it is approved. SO I have to consider going back to the only thing I know. Jobs in Virginia are slim and none because of our Democrat Governor keeping our economic growth at 0% or less.
Hey, so true a lot of us old school teams had to do it. Its not something pleasant to talk about but facts of life. As a woman I needed to keep clean, I won't go into detail but most will understand that at certain times skipping a wash is not an option. My hubby and I worked hard to keep us and our rig clean. Folks always admired how clean our rig was, we made sure it did not smell. There are better products now then we had to rely on much more basic supplies like bleach and dish washing soap. For folks with enough bladder conttrol to make it to a bonafide restroom, after drinking all that coffee to stay awake all nite every time, my hats off to ya. The family teased us about all the baby wipes we bought LOL.
When I was in the Army I used the big neck bottle for No 1's but for No 2's I had a small bucket with double lining of supermarket carrier bage inside a medium size Cool Box which made it more comfortable to sit on and every time I used it I threw a handfull or 2 of sawdust on top, This reduces the smell and by the time you close the Cool Box you smell nothing. If you want you can drop a little Lemon Bleach after each use or after you empty it
These couples are nice and show things that many drivers out there do but cant talk about it. Some of the comments put here are disrespectful talking about butty and shit. These drivers might be in a relationship or even married, just leave without commenting if you are not matured enough to comment something nice.
I stumbled across your vlog looking for Instant Pot recipes. Thank you for what you do. Without truckers, most Americans would be up the creek without a paddle. I am very impressed by you two, you have certainly earned my respect.
Loved your video and the tips. Like you, I had a "port-a-potty" bucket with a garbage bag as a liner, except I used a plastic shoe box (with a cover) that I had found at Walmart and I dumped a bit of scented kitty litter into the bag each time. I used to keep a huge bucket of that litter under the bunk just for that purpose. As to the baths, I poured cold water from a bottle onto a sponge with some soap on it and called it done. I no longer drive a truck, but watching your video sure brought back some memories and makes me miss the life. Once a trucker, always a trucker...
Normally I don't leave comments but after your video, I feel compelled to give you a big thumbs up. I love the team spirit that you show in the video, I imagine how hard it would be for me to live (let alone drive 24/7 with someone. The information you gave in the video is fantastic. I do a lot of surveillance inside of my vehicle for 6 to 10 hours a day and it is refreshing to hear that you guys use some of the techniques I use. Keep up the good videos, my God continues to bless you.
Not a trucker and not even in the country, I happened across your video and want to say you two are delightful. Clever ideas for a good life on the road and it sure seems you're quite happy together in a very practical and attractive lifestyle. You're lucky folks making life better for everybody. Thanks.
You can also get disposable washcloths in a pack like wipes. Cheap. No need to rinse off. Get them at grocery store. They also have packs that can be nuked first so their warm. Those u can find in a pharmacy type store, their used to clean patients that can't get to a tub. As for the bucket you can use a pool noodle cut to size and split to put around the top. The wipes r good to use after that as well for freshness.
Thanks guys. Funny thing is, for #1, I used the same bottles for the same reasons. I tell newer drivers to always buy a dark bottle of Arizona iced tea and a nice fragrance laundry detergent. But my 12 y/o daughter will be hitting the road with me this Summer, and this will help her a lot. I personaly haven't pooped in my truck, but I am prepared for when I have to.
I used to be a truck driver when I owned a Toyota Tacoma. LOL. Sorry, I couldn't resist. Anyway, when I was single and did some travel around the country, I always took showers at truck stops. I saved a lot of money on hotels by sleeping in my Jeep Grand Cherokee. I removed the rear seats and made a nice bed. I'm 6'3" and could stretch my legs and always got good sleep. On long trips I did my laundry in hotels. They never refused to let me use their laundry machines. Some were free and some required coins to operate. Bathrooms are everywhere in this country and rest stops are conveniently located every 50 miles or so. It had never been a problem unlike in some other countries I had visited. I remember having to pay to use a bathroom in Moscow, and they charged for toilet paper too. LOL. There was a mean old lady at the entrance who took the money and sold the toilet paper and we are no talking about a roll of toilet paper. She asked - " How many?", to which I replied - " One". 😕 She gave me one tiny square.😨 I had to get about 10 more and got charged accordingly. LOL!
Proud mom of a long haul trucker. Pray for all of you out there every day. I know the new laws out there don't make it easy. Be safe out there and if you see Greg out there say howdy!!
I’m 25 years old this all seems more than doable I love this video you guys are amazing with 20k viewers you guys are a major power couple very beautiful! I would love to do as you two are doing with my fiancé but she has planes to be a fitness trainer. Personally I would love to be on the road with someone I love it would make me feel at home, safe, someone I can always count on and sleeping would be nicer too since you have you lover with you. I’m sure that makes it a lot more bearable. Such a beautiful video thank you for all the wonderful ideas keep going guys you’re amazing!
I drove for over 12 years, loved it. had to come off the road from health problems you guys have it figured it out... excellent work on the videos Please keep it up. I enjoy the life and seeing others live the life.... thank you.
I myself don't eat in truck stops much. I have the normal things ice box microwave but going to take microwave out put my convection oven in. I use a rice cooker for preparing beef stew chicken and dumplings chili soups macaroni and cheese things like that. Used to carry a grill but carry George Foreman grill now for cooking my meats now.
I drove like you for many years. I like this it's neat and did a similar facility on my truck. Each time I returned home for a few days I removed all my goods from the cab and did a thorough cleaning, then restocked with everything just like equipping a motor home. It's a Japanese apartment on wheels. I even had tools, hardware, and a bicycle for local transportation into human civilization as travel-truck stops and truck parking areas are usually bad neighborhoods where drivers get treated like circus trash.
really great ideas , I started driving in 1980 (36 yrs in now, still drive casual west coast ) ,,and drove a 1969 white /frtliner cabover 1 st yr OTR , then 6 yrs in a 1982 KW long nose walk in sleeper ( that was like a mansion ) , still wasn't like the space we have now ,,it's amazing the improvments made in cab & sleeper in past 35 yrs ...I did much the same personal hygene & cooking in the KW ( all we had was hot plates & styrofoam & metal dishes & a huge 32 Qt coleman 12 volt cooler & a black & white vcr TV , then finally a inverter in 1990 with a microwave ...but grt info .. these drivers now a days don't realize how good they have it ......
Look, I just started trucking this year. But, I can say there are times when you have to take a leak and you’re not anywhere near a bathroom. And when you get to a pitstop or fuel island, someone else might be hogging the bathroom. For a tall guy, I’m lucky to fit underneath the trailer. That’s all I’m going to say.
Watching this brings back the good life I had before stroke I do miss the road will be back soon . This sitting around in a home(rehab). Sucks. 10-4. This is one track backing on out. All I drivers out there stay safe. I'm 10-10 on the side bye bye.
Seen this video first time and already love your channel. My grandparents are also truck drivers for landstar. For a while i have been taking into consideration on changing career path to driving semi trucks. Watching this video has helped me out tons! with thinking about the common issues that are not asked. I strongly feel that you both are super heros to those who have many questions.
Hi there, I'm Lee. I'm a trucker over the pond in the UK. I'm sat in my Mercedes semi right now having just watched you guys. Great broadcast, made me laugh. Yes, all the 'Daily realities' are need by us all! I'm employ the very same techniques. Hope to see more from you guys, making me feel like following a dream of mine to come drive in the US. Love to you both, god bless.
I stumbled onto your video accidentally, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. You two are very cute together even when talking about... It's easy to see that you are both in love. Thank you for sharing.
going #2. your section was great and informative. only thing i would add is that i insert a second bag on top of the garbage and put in kitty litter for odor absorption and then dispose of both bags together. one inside the other. Seems like a lot but fortunately it’s for emergency purposes. Thanks for this video. you guys are awesome!!
Truckers do an amazing job and keep food and other supplies moving so I can get off my backside and walk 5 mins down the road to buy what I need. Never underestimate the value of truckers. It is a job I would never contemplate doing but I am glad there is some who do. I went on a road trip when young with a friend's father. I had dreams of open road windows down and singing along to Black Sabbath. Now the latter part was true but it was poor weather, long day and spent a lot of it stop starting on the motorway. I had enough of trucking that day. I was glad to be back at school the next. I like the idea of trucking but for me not the reality.
Believe it or not there are a ton of truckers with college degrees; I am one of them. However, I don't do OTR although I have. I still drive but I'm home more, like everyday. It's not LTL but somewhat similar. I wouldn't do OTR today only if I could earn upwards of $80,000.
my between shower solution came from European truckers - spray bottle with alcohol and witch hazel and an essential oil for a nice scent - spray onto a baby wipe, then wipe off --- great for freshening up if you get sweaty or at the end of the day if you are parked somewhere without a shower.
Great stuff. Really have to look into that water pot you guys use! But if you are a solo driver or even a team driver I personally use a 5 gallon bucket to poo into. it is taller and more comfortable to use and just as cheap. Use T-Shirt bags bought from Sams club or wherever. You don't really want to reuse bags from stores because they will have tiny holes in them many times and that gets messy. Great stuff again though!
Love you two!!! Your so thoughtful, I enjoy watching this entire video. I'm a Truck Driver located here in Wilmington, DE. I just do local delivery in a Day Cab. Your tips we're helpful. Keep up the good work. Take care.
School’em girlfriend! I bought a plastic medium shallow storage container at Walmart. It’s not huge but it’s not tiny, all I do is lay down an old towel, the container on top, a washcloth and antibacterial soap hit the five spots and you still have enough water for legs and feet. And here’s the perk whatever water spilled on the floor you can now mop the floor with the old towel and some lavender wash, now your floors are clean and your tuck smells great. Store the container under your bunk. Blessings guys!
This is hilarious! I'm an otr trucker and appreciate the tips. With regard to the poop bucket I recommend keeping a bag of kitty litter on board as it can be used for multiple purposes. Enjoyed this video! Thanks for the laughs.😆😆😆
This is educational to me, something I always wonder about. Thank you, for being lovingly explaining the life of an truck driver have to go through In personal hygiene.
When my husband and I headed over the road..I got on Amazon and bought a small square potty with lid and easy empty valve, spout to add water and a tank to hold water if needed to flush by pumping a plastic "squishy" thing that you just push down. Otherwise, just pull the front knob out to empty the pot into the bottom. It fits easily in the hole under the microwave spot and other places where we just pull it out. It's a little of 50 bucks so there's NO splashing and trying to hang onto a bottle going down the road. It's in the RV shopping section.
This is the first time I saw your Channel really enjoyed very informative you're very positive upbeat made me smile my husband and I had planned on being drivers unfortunately he passed away 10 years ago seeing how the two of you get along I think we would have really enjoyed ourselves
Buy fuel in a truckstop and you get a free shower. I just bought fuel once a day at supper time. When the sun was going down and you get that glare. I would eat and shower the roll on a few more hours then sleep.
Not all truckstops have showers. The one I work at in Lebanon TN does not, and we're one of only 3 stops in the whole town. Not a big town but we have a lot of trucks come thru every day. But as for free showers, try to go to stops that have AmBest, you get a free shower credit after buying so much fuel. 50 gallons I think, but I've forgotten since it doesn't apply to us. The credit goes on your AmBucks card tho, so you can use it anywhere.
Good to see some old timers like myself out here on the road obviously you guys take good care of yourselves I purpose to do the same thanks for the good info be safe live long
sherkita Gibson Not too many on the road these days. Some go seven days without a shower.Which is bullshit to me.Wash your funky asses.I use to see truckers look like bombs.Your making a decent living.Buy some nice shit.
Great ideas. Sometimes when you eat truck stop food number two can be quite urgent. I've had to use a cup and a styrofoam to go container before only one of those two went well. The other had a massive cleanup. Having that bucket and liner might just be a lifesaver. I know many times I avoid staying at a customers because sometimes they have no facilities.
Born and Raised in Tennessee was OTR for awhile now I am local now in Knoxville, TN, I actually go to the TA at Exit 36 off I-81 a lot where this Video is made lol.
I keep a Porta Potty in the truck (Walmart 70 bucks) and buy the diaper wipes in a roll to use for moist towelettes when you need to freshen up. The TP goes in sealed bags and is dumped along with the waste from the porta potty in rest area toilets. The bags and tp are both made for this purpose to be biodegradable. And they do not plug anything up. I shower every couple of days, going 3 days at the most, when I fuel. That way I get a free shower. I also carry plastic utensils, paper plates and bowls and a few days worth of canned goods for meals. (You never know where you will be stuck for a weekend when you are flatbedding). Plus two gals of water (drinkable just in case) and I have a coffee maker and microwave, TV with dish network on Satellite and Internet. Whenever I get a motel (about once every other week, I do my laundry, slow shower etc. Sometimes I think I live better on the road than I do at home! Lol I have a 2016 Peterbilt with a 78 inch raised roof sleeper. Plenty of room for an old Fat Boy like me.
Also my wife and I bought a gallon of AquaChem $24.00. 4oz in the fresh water tank. I put 4oz in the waste water tank to keep everything fresh. In the summer my wife adds peppermint oil to our water to stay cool.
@@anthonydrummond9770 AquaChem help clean. Must truck stops have RV dumps. Mark them in your truck stop book. Also at Cabela's with purchase you can dump for free. Otherwise it's $7.
I just discovered you two and you are adorable! I drove my first semi in 1983 and have always used ziplock bags and lined buckets for the potty! Even if a bathroom is available I cannot bring myself to expose my lady parts! Too many germs and no privacy. We cook great meals in the truck too. You two look like you are having a lot of fun! Stay safe!
I keep basic supplies just for those moments when you are not feeling fresh. I do have a question though. What about the hair and head. What do you do to keep it clean. I have some hair but I usually shave my head. How do you guys keep it clean
This was really valuable information for a prospective driver like myself. Your tips are AWESOME, and make a driving career much more feasible. Clears up a lot of issues for me..... Thanks!
Thanks for sharing i am in the process of becoming a driver, and so i am glad when i came across your information great ! info it helps to prepare me for my journey in OTRD
Man, I've been doing trucking wrong lol. Only been doing it a couple of months and I guess i gotta re-educated myself in the living part of trucking haha I bet they're saving lots of money the way they're doing it. I love their videos
Huh, I seem to have wandered into a weird side of TH-cam. This is pretty interesting I must say! I have a much higher respect for truck drivers now :) Thank you guys. Without you, nothing would get done!
Dont laugh about the bucket - I used to travel all over Alaska to villages with no running water .. they actually make a toilet seat that will fit the top of a 5 gallon bucket. The thing most in demand in the village is pine sol- just put a little in the bucket to control the smell. Then throw it in the collection pit when you want to dump it plastic bag and all. It will be frozen in about 10 minutes - just try not to be in any village when things start to thaw out... it will be rough till the collection pit is run through the treatment system... my wife raised 4 kids with no running water and no electricity and wood heat in Alaska... she knows all the tricks and your doing just fine with your process...
Oh wow i just found you guys and I am in love after one video. I've been a truck driver for about 6 years now. I use a large pilot cold drink cup to pee in. Dump, use a few drops of dawn and water to rinse out, replace every few days. I wouldn't be able to pee in a detergent bottle lol. Never had to poop in the truck as I can usually hold it until I reach a restroom. I say usually because I did have an emergency one time but luckily was able to pull over and run into a corn field haha. I use baby wipes for in between showers. But you guys have some great ideas I definitely learned some new things. And I have a feeling y'all are vegan which I love even more I'm definitely subscribing.
You can get a lid for the bucket that is also a comfortable toilet seat. These are at Walmart camping department. As well as camping stores. The one I have is Luggable Loo brand. We also keep one at home for emergencies, and if someone has diarrhea. (since we have a composting toilet that doesn't do well with diarrhea) TMI sorry ;)
if you put on 50+ gal of fuel at EOD ( end of day ) you get free showers ,otherwise there 15.00 so I usually get one every other day at least then use diaper wipes .... baby powder & pit stick ....then I'm only out 5 -7 days at a time .. northwest & west coast casual ....after 35 yrs OTR & regional / line haul ..
I'm an owner operator with my own authority and own 10 trucks and trailers. You must be driving some 60 mph truck. You can't eat and wash your nasty ass in two hours then that's your problem. You want to stink? That's your problem! I don't wait in lines for a shower. You must be one of those company driver and have to fill up at Loves with their three or four showers. Become an owner operator then! Why work and make somebody else rich? You're right about one thing though! Been driving for 26 years but only 3 of those years was for somebody else. I got smart! Now go fuck yourself because nobody else will fuck your stinky ass!
Steve Protoss dude wtf does grammar have to do with anything? you are a fkng joke son your just a skinny smelly broccoli eating troll enslaved by a company that wont even preplan you correctly thats why you fkng stink. i see you at the freeway offramps taking 10 with no food and no bathroom. thats you boy.
james McCall I totally agree. I take a shower every night. I've been hearing it for years: Sometimes you can't get a shower. Every once in a while I might go 30 hrs without a shower. I can't go around smelling bad...
Get the KitchenAid kettle. Same look but better quality. Get a simple 5-gal bucket as your garbage/toilet and line it with scented garbage bags when you poop I use 25 litre (or are they 29litre? lol) water jugs for water supply and and empty one as my drain for my wash water/pee. I wash it every week with bleach which I bring with me I use an old fashioned wash basin and pitcher each morning when I bathe. I ordered it on Amazon. I also have a Jet Boil heater (natural gas) in case of emergency and if I want to fry eggs, etc... My cab is much less cluttered than what I see in this video. Maybe I should make a video on my set up. SImple yet I have all the luxuries you could need. I spend 6 days on the road and I never have to eat at a truck stop
Bottle water baths, they can be so refreshing, and lots of fresh wipes . I would put down a plastic garbage bag , close the curtain, strip down ,and with a bowl of bottle water and soap and a rag, wipe down. Rinse off, dry off, spray on some smell Purty, get dressed and roll! I would do this in between showers
1. Between showers 2. Potty 3. Brushing teeth 1. Things you need: rag, 5g bucket, towel, extra clothes. At a stop bring the bucket to bathroom. Go to break room and get a foam cup next to coffee machine. Take cup in bathroom and transfer hot water to bucket. Finish by adding hand soap to cup. Take to truck. Use damp rag with soap to wash body, rinse rag in bucket. 2. Needed: 5g bucket, walmart camping toilet seat cover for 5g bucket, empty bottle(personal pref), 13 gallon trash bags, toilet paper, wet wipes. Line bucket with bag, put toilet cover, #1 in bottle #2 in bucket, use TP, use wipes. Tie and discard. 3. Needed: bottle water, brush and paste. Go outside/hang out window/open door hang off side. Rinse, brush, rinse.
Great job with a subject that most seem to want to brush off. Vital necessity covered with dignity! I just might have to write a song about it someday. hmmmm....
I learned how to take showers in a truck because going to a truck stop wasn't always feasible and I didn't want to go around people smelling bad. That's something truck drivers don't like to talk about too. There's a book on Amazon called private trucker showers that is really good tells how to take showers in your truck, not advertising it but it also comes with trucking. Keeping it real out here OTR
Ian Anderson American truck simulator should be for training for a beginner truck driver
That’s why Walmart doesn’t allow trucks to park there because we don’t know how to appreciate things.
travis adams there are special disposable bags that you Shit or piss in. The bag black out the smell.
I agree!! Where would we be without our dear truckers!!
I got click baited by granny's caboose.
Bionic Messiah lol
ahahahahaha I'm dead
Bionic Messiah hahahahahaaaa
Same here lmao
Guilty here
as a person who is big into camping I can recommend a great addition to the bucket toilet, can be hard to find at times but you can get a plastic camping toilet seat that is designed to rest on the rim of a standard 5 gallon bucket
Such a good idea!
They have bucket toilets at Duluth Trading!
They are with eachother, making that money, not letting "shit" get in their way, literally!😁 I Love It!😊 This is how you KEEP IT MOVING! America would be GREAT AGAIN if more couples really knew how to survive together💑
Keep up the good work👍👌
I'm Jealous in a good way🙄

very well done and informative video. i recently retire from driving for 36 years and now my son and nephew are a team they are the ones that showed me your videos. keep up the great work.
Please, if you have to do it, make sure it can be desposed of in a way that is sanitary to yourself and others.
...'''right'''...

Chandra Rogers I agree. Thanks truckers!
Chandra Rogers teehee. you were lookin fer instant pot recipes. I'm smokin pot and lookin fer songs by The Clash.
Her voice is wonderful. She could be a famous narrator of books and children’s books and film, and Disney animations!
She should contact me because her voice would be great for this character in one of my comic books. Actually his voice is unique as well. Lol
I've never been, nor will I ever be, a trucker but I enjoyed this video very much. Thanks. Stay safe.
LOL!
Ray_Biker That's crazy
That is the Russian ecconomy ........
Ray_Biker .you make up better stories than I do.
I always loved going around the country with my dad in his semi truck. I miss those times.
I'm not a trucker why am I watching this
booty 🍑👐
Your name says your answer! LOL!
TH-cam is going to shit the booty
good question
TH-cam is going to shit
Bye,👋
I have nothing but respect for truckers. Life on the road and all the unexpected things that happen. Channels like this are salt of the earth.
Few years old now but just happened to come across your video. Baileyton, TN is in my hometown. I hope everyone treated you well.
Staying healthy as a trucker was not something I found easy. You two seem to be managing that one alright :)
Best way to stay clean in a truck is to have one with a ARI 132 inch sleeper with a toilet with a shower. You can't beat it if you can afford it.
I stumbled onto your video accidentally, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. You two are very cute together even when
talking about... It's easy to see that you are both in love. Thank you for sharing.
@Hello Paul, How are you doing?
going #2. your section was great and informative. only thing i would add is that i insert a second bag on top of the garbage and put in kitty litter for odor absorption and then dispose of both bags together. one inside the other. Seems like a lot but fortunately it’s for emergency purposes. Thanks for this video. you guys are awesome!!
I think you can add kitty litter to the bag to neutralize the smell and absorb moisture
DA Heels In an emergency Iused to do that and the bucket had a lid. But still had to play hot potato and get rid of it asap.
DA Heels In an emergency Iused to do that and the bucket had a lid. But still had to play hot potato and get rid of it asap.
I wouldn't do OTR today only if I could earn upwards of $80,000.
everything your looking at right now had to be delivered by a truck at one point
This is damn good advice! About to get my CDL and this will make my life MUCH easier from the get-go!
Thanks for the upload!!!
I would keep baby wipes on the truck. I didn't like wet towels in my laundry.
my between shower solution came from European truckers - spray bottle with alcohol and witch hazel and an essential oil for a nice scent - spray onto a baby wipe, then wipe off --- great for freshening up if you get sweaty or at the end of the day if you are parked somewhere without a shower.
Thank you so much for addressing these critical question. Your answers are creative, logical, informative, and very helpful!
Safe trucking and a big hello from Kingsport,TN.
Hey Karen! Thanks for posting :) Love the big T! - A&J
I begin my OTR career in about 2 weeks. I'm super excited to find such sweet souls like y'all and love these tips
This is hilarious! I'm an otr trucker and appreciate the tips. With regard to the poop bucket I recommend keeping a bag of kitty litter on board as it can be used for multiple purposes. Enjoyed this video! Thanks for the laughs.😆😆😆
Great idea👍
Good idea dana i never taught of that
This is educational to me, something I always wonder about. Thank you, for being lovingly explaining the life of an truck driver have to go through In personal hygiene.
I'm a trucker in the UK, very informative content, great viewing! Your an inspiration!
Your secret is out, now you always going to be in queue
Thaddeus M Exactly what I use to do.
i know its not rocket science
Not all truckstops have showers. The one I work at in Lebanon TN does not, and we're one of only 3 stops in the whole town. Not a big town but we have a lot of trucks come thru every day. But as for free showers, try to go to stops that have AmBest, you get a free shower credit after buying so much fuel. 50 gallons I think, but I've forgotten since it doesn't apply to us. The credit goes on your AmBucks card tho, so you can use it anywhere.
Serious? You will use this as an excuse not to shower? How far is it to a stop that has showers?
Wow! sharing this to my non trucker friends that have NO IDEA! Thank ya'll.
They call that truck stop toilet paper "John Wayne toilet paper", its rough, its tough and it don't take shit off anyone!
5 gal pail and cat litter works well too.. Empty every other day or so depending on how often you use...
Good to see some old timers like myself out here on the road obviously you guys take good care of yourselves I purpose to do the same thanks for the good info be safe live long
Motorists don't respect truckers enough most people have no idea how important truckers are to the economy and what they go through on a daily basis
Thank you truckers!
I have a hole under my seat in my truck... I just open the trap door and do my business while I drive.
Bob Saget hhh man u are the hero
Bob Saget and i bet the mechanic's love to work on shit sprayed all over the motor... just saying
Bob Saget lmfao!
So, that was YOU who sprayed my windshield!
No wonder my my wheel got poop all over it. I alway clean with my hand becuz I thought it was animal poop n now I know it human, gross!
these are clean truck divers i love them
sherkita Gibson Not too many on the road these days. Some go seven days without a shower.Which is bullshit to me.Wash your funky asses.I use to see truckers look like bombs.Your making a decent living.Buy some nice shit.
Alonzo Shorter 😂😂😂
Pretty cool couple trucker,,, this is interesting,,,,,
sherkita Gibson uu
Great ideas. Sometimes when you eat truck stop food number two can be quite urgent. I've had to use a cup and a styrofoam to go container before only one of those two went well. The other had a massive cleanup. Having that bucket and liner might just be a lifesaver. I know many times I avoid staying at a customers because sometimes they have no facilities.
MyTruckinLife ACE. That little bucket they have I'd be screwed I'd fill it up with a half a shit and then what???
Born and Raised in Tennessee was OTR for awhile now I am local now in Knoxville, TN, I actually go to the TA at Exit 36 off I-81 a lot where this Video is made lol.
Coffee grounds work great at eliminating strong odors too
If ingested they can cause odors
She's just so cute with the cutest laugh. ...great vid guys!!! ❤
Thanks Latoya. :)
she do got a nice fatty though
warrior2014 that thumbnail is the only reason I clicked!! Nice booty 😝🎟
warrior2014 she do tho lol
Latoya Bright love her voice
Offgrid Cabin what do you use to clean the porta potty? And what porta potty brand do you recommend?
Also my wife and I bought a gallon of AquaChem $24.00. 4oz in the fresh water tank. I put 4oz in the waste water tank to keep everything fresh.
In the summer my wife adds peppermint oil to our water to stay cool.
@@anthonydrummond9770 AquaChem help clean. Must truck stops have RV dumps. Mark them in your truck stop book. Also at Cabela's with purchase you can dump for free. Otherwise it's $7.
@@anthonydrummond9770 I recommend the 2.5 gallon.
Offgrid Cabin Thank You sir for the information. Do you guys bungee strap it when not in use??
I just discovered you two and you are adorable! I drove my first semi in 1983 and have always used ziplock bags and lined buckets for the potty! Even if a bathroom is available I cannot bring myself to expose my lady parts! Too many germs and no privacy. We cook great meals in the truck too. You two look like you are having a lot of fun! Stay safe!
Nothing wrong with what you guys do.
It's true that sometimes you don't end up in a truckstop
I keep basic supplies just for those moments when you are not feeling fresh.
I do have a question though.
What about the hair and head.
What do you do to keep it clean.
I have some hair but I usually shave my head.
How do you guys keep it clean
I'm here cause of the thumbnail
You, me and I’m sure 90% of the others
This was really valuable information for a prospective driver like myself. Your tips are AWESOME, and make a driving career much more feasible. Clears up a lot of issues for me..... Thanks!
Thanks for sharing i am in the process of becoming a driver, and so i am glad when i came across your information great ! info it helps to prepare me for my journey in OTRD
Man, I've been doing trucking wrong lol. Only been doing it a couple of months and I guess i gotta re-educated myself in the living part of trucking haha I bet they're saving lots of money the way they're doing it. I love their videos
You two are really good together. Very good video. Have fun and be safe out there. 🍺
yall..seems too get along well together....especially ina confined living space....GOD BLESS
Not a truck driver but enjoyed your video - great job editing it, music, graphics and most of all content.
Good points I've never thought about that heating pot for bird baths. I found scented baby wipes work good for between showers and number 2
@Hello Ryan, How are you doing?
Haven't started driving yet but I've pondered over bathing. Then I thought about baby wipes. Scented and moisturizing at the same time.
You are both so adorable. A perfect pair. Thanks for making this video. I enjoyed watching.
Seems like the pair of you are best friends... God bless you both! Safe travels!
You two are like the gosh damn Mr Rogers couple of trucking! Love it! All practical solutions to everyday problems while on the road. Well done!
Im not even a trucker but this was still pretty funny to watch lmao
I've been driving 26 years and I get a shower every frigging day at a truckstop!
if you put on 50+ gal of fuel at EOD ( end of day ) you get free showers ,otherwise there 15.00 so I usually get one every other day at least then use diaper wipes .... baby powder & pit stick ....then I'm only out 5 -7 days at a time .. northwest & west coast casual ....after 35 yrs OTR & regional / line haul ..
jon Rogers ..i agree on the baby wipes..i do the same thing they can be your best friend
Get a simple 5-gal bucket as your garbage/toilet and line it with scented garbage bags when you poop
I use 25 litre (or are they 29litre? lol) water jugs for water supply and and empty one as my drain for my wash water/pee. I wash it every week with bleach which I bring with me
I use an old fashioned wash basin and pitcher each morning when I bathe.
Thanks for tackling the duty everybody must do but nobody wants to talk about.
I could talk about that all day.
No disrespect...but uhhh....the lady is smoking hot. N that sweet voice and demeanor....You're a blessed guy J.

2. Needed: 5g bucket, walmart camping toilet seat cover for 5g bucket, empty bottle(personal pref), 13 gallon trash bags, toilet paper, wet wipes. Line bucket with bag, put toilet cover, #1 in bottle #2 in bucket, use TP, use wipes. Tie and discard.

@Hello Ben Massey, How are you doing?
she is pretty and looks happy
She really does! And how refreshing that is to see her that happy! Really happy I found their channel. #RelationshipGoals right there
Great job with a subject that most seem to want to brush off.
