No. I only noticed it when doing an oil change. I think it may be able to cause those problems if the piece that breaks off gets stuck somewhere. But that wasn’t my issue. Are you losing oil pressure?

Yes, I have zero oil pressure. I changed my sensor, but then when I went to the oil filter, pulled it out the standup pipe the top part was broke.
Did you replace it?
