The naughty Kintaro's targets aren't just his mother and brother.
On this day, he targets his father Momotaro.
(1:06〜)Kintaro slapped Momotaro in the face and head, but Momotaro did not get angry.
(3:01〜)But when Kintaro jumped on top of Momotaro while he was sleeping, Momotaro got a little angry.
If Gentaro did the same thing as Kintaro, I think Momotaro would be even more angry, but he doesn't really get angry at Kintaro.
It looks like Kintaro will continue to grow stronger and more mischievous.

⭐️Momotaro ♂(2000/7/3)
Born in Ueno Zoo on July 3, 2000.
His father is Biju and his mother is Momoko.
His father died before he was born and he grew up never knowing his father.
He came to Kyoto City Zoo in 2010 and is now a father of two sons.
⭐️Genki ♀(1986/6/24)
Born on June 24, 1986 at the Kyoto City Zoo.
Her father is Mack and her mother is Hiromi.
When she was 10 years old, she went to Ueno Zoo for breeding purposes.
But she had a bad relationship with another female gorilla, and she injured her fingers and toes with her self-mutilation and lost a lot of weight.
When she returned to her hometown of Kyoto City Zoo, she was fine, and she lived with various male gorillas.
Then she met Momotaro and she gave birth to two lovely sons whom she lovingly raised.
Genki has a cute face with shining eyes.
⭐️Gentaro ♂(2011/12/21))
Gentaro was born at the Kyoto City zoo on Dec.21,2011,as Momotaro and Genki's first son.
Unfortunately Genki didn't have enough milk,so he was nursed by keepers for his first 10.5 months.
Now he loves his mom,and his face really looks like her.
He also loves people .
He is very close with his younger brother Kintaro and they play together almost every day.
⭐️Kintaro ♂(2018/12/19)
Kintaro was born at Kyoto City Zoo on Dec.19,2018.
He has big bright eyes and long eyebrows.
He is growing fine ,being loved by his parents and brother.

Also, a silverback sitting crosslegged like a human with his short legs is so funny!
Momo played with kintaro every day until kintaro started playing with gentaro a year ago. Now the brothers just play together. Momo can't chase kintaro around all day like gentaro does.

Kintaro doesn't feel threatened by his father at all, this is a great way of giving the youngster confidence for him to thrive. It's also obvious Kintaro loves to be beside his father sometimes, which means he's very comfortable with him. I don't think if he was the size of Gentaro he'd get away with it as much though.

Sorry but kintaro reminds me of a spoiled rotten kid that loves to take food even when he's not hungry hit his mom just to be mean and gets away with it...he's gonna be really bad in less than a year...or maybe not who knows...lol

I always thought gorillas beat their chest as a warning to any potential danger. Kintaro seems to do it in play and does it often. Even when playing with his zoo keeper. Are there multiple meanings to the chest drumming?

He does to me too, he always looks mad to me when he interacts with Momo. With Gentaro he is smiling ,and when Gentaro played with Momo he looked happy , Kintaro looks pissed off to me when he is with Momo. Also he is sticking his butt out to mom and dad for something else

El sabe que Kintaro es el más chiquito y no se olviden que el a Gentaro de chiquito no lo vio enseguida x que estuvo enfermito y lo cuidaron los cuidadores entonces a Kintaro si para el primer hijo de el creerá que es el de bobo no tiene un pelo y se encariñado de el desde chiquito x eso tengo miedo cuando crezca Gentaro que no lo vea como enemigo y al mismo tiempo no quiero que lo saquen xcque es su familia no se que podrían hacer uds. There is no way that gentaro can stay in the group. Kintaro either. When they become adults they have to leave. They will see each other as rivals and they will fight constantly.

Exactly like big boystoys said , they will not be able to stay with Momo. There is some good videos on TH-cam that show families in the wild and when the males come of age . It is very informative. Gentaro and Momo played all the time wrestling and tag. Gentaro taught Momo how to play, they were very close.
